Americans are growing restless over where the Covid narrative is heading, and there seems to be a growing disconnect between “we the people” and those who seek to represent us in government.
Even Donald Trump, ever the populist, now seems hopelessly out of touch. It’s like the grassroots movement of deplorables he helped energize has now passed him by and are waiting for him to catch up.
But will he catch up, or lag farther and farther behind?
As the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1, I recall people posting comments on social media along the lines of … “Good riddance to 2020! No matter what happens in 2021 it could not be worse than 2020!”
At the time, I remember thinking: Hmm… What if 2020 was just a taste of what’s to come in 2021?

The high priest of COVID, Dr. Tony Fauci, preached masks, masks, masks, after he confided in recently revealed emails with colleagues that masks are basically futile in protecting people from infection by a virus.
The mask ritual quickly gave way to an even higher form of sacramental worship, the needle in the arm carrying a first-of-its-kind experimental gene therapy.
Private corporations are working hand in glove with state and local governments to quietly implement digital vaccine passports, forcing Americans to show their papers before they can attend universities, board airlines, or enter libraries, hotels, cruise ships, sports arenas and eventually almost every type of business that deals with the public.
