Scientists score major breakthrough in drive to create ‘synthetic’ humans

‘Synthetic’ embryo with brain and beating heart grown from stem cells

A research team in the U.K. has announced a huge leap in their long-sought ability to grow synthetic human embryos in a lab without the benefit of a male sperm or female egg.

The journal Neuroscience News reports that researchers from the University of Cambridge have created model embryos from mouse stem cells that form a brain, a beating heart, and the foundations of all the other organs of the body, describing it as “a new avenue for recreating the first stages of life.”

The team developed the embryo model without eggs or sperm, and instead used stem cells, which can be used to “guide” the development of almost any type of cell in the body. They have been working toward this goal for more than a decade.

According to Neuroscience News:

“The researchers mimicked natural processes in the lab by guiding the three types of stem cells found in early mammalian development to the point where they start interacting. By inducing the expression of a particular set of genes and establishing a unique environment for their interactions, the researchers were able to get the stem cells to ‘talk’ to each other.”

The stem cells self-assembled into structures that progressed through the successive developmental stages until they had beating hearts and the foundations of the brain, as well as the yolk sac from which the embryo develops and gets nutrients. Unlike other synthetic embryos, the Cambridge-developed models reached the point where the entire brain, including the anterior portion, began to form.

“This is a further point in development than has been achieved in any other stem cell-derived model,” the journal stated.

The results could be used to guide repair and development of synthetic human organs for transplantation. This would amount to growing humans in a lab for the sole purpose of cultivating their organs, an ethical situation not even addressed in the Neuroscience article.

Research leader Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz, professor in Mammalian Development and Stem Cell Biology in Cambridge’s Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, told Neuroscience News:

“Our mouse embryo model not only develops a brain, but also a beating heart, all the components that go on to make up the body. It’s just unbelievable that we’ve got this far. This has been the dream of our community for years, and a major focus of our work for a decade, and finally we’ve done it.”

This research was partially funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health under the Obama administration’s Brain Activity Map project or BAM. Francis Collins was head of the NIH at that time.

According to the article, part of the process includes the “manipulation of genes.”

The project reflects a “major advance in the study,” which is “the ability to generate the entire brain, in particular the anterior part, which has been a major goal in the development of synthetic embryos.”

For anyone who has read Aldous Huxley’s classic novel, Brave New World, this type of scientific chicanery should come as no surprise. Technocrats have long coveted the ability to usurp the creative genius of God Almighty, thinking they can improve upon God’s creation of human beings in his holy image. When you as a scientist attempt to reverse engineer something as sacred as the creation of life itself, it will not end well.

RE: John—You misquoted John 15:5. It does not end “to overcome the deadly power of sin”.

Jesus told the wise virgins in His Bride: “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on his own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take what is mine and declare it to you. All the Father has is mine; therefore, I said He will take what is mine and declare it to you.”

Kayjae, God’s Spirit of truth guides me into all the truth, as He took Christ’s teaching in John 15:5 and declared its implication to me.

RE: In the apostate days of Noah, God foolishly expected mankind (i.e. the Devil’s degenerate children of darkness who are under God’s strong delusion) to be the stewards of Satan’s accursed world of wickedness, and to be led by the Holy Spirit in doing God’s redemptive ark-building work?!

RE: So I don’t see any reason to treat with foolish contempt the modern medicine that king Asa idolatrously trusted would save his life. God provided the unbelieving king Asa with a fatal disease and impotent doctors and nurses to help him through that faith-testing crisis. And make no mistake, plenty of prayers to God were vainly uttered on his behalf including his own. And you cannot prove to me that Asa was an unrepentant idolator for having availed himself of the world’s finest physicians and ‘Big Pharma’ gifts of health and healing. In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was diseased in his feet, and his disease became severe. Yet even in his disease, he did not faithfully seek the LORD—the Great Physician for remedy, but the unrepentant idolator trusted in life-saving help from sinful physicians. And the LORD let the foolish king die in the idolized hands of his physicians in the forty-first year of his reign. 2 Chronicles 16

    1. John—YOU do NOT have any right to rewrite the Bible to suit yourself. There’s no excuse for your deliberate misquoting of it and it the devil of pride and falseness, not the Holy Spirit, that guides you into doing it. It makes you consistently come up with weird and ignorant interpretations of the Bible and its implications revealing an arrogant foolishness on your part. Your high-handed abuse of the Bible brings you dangerously close close to blasphemy. So stop it.

Your mocking parroting of my words to then rewrite them to suit your anti-medicine agenda is a dishonest and disrespectful tactic you commonly use against others so you can play God and pass nonsensical judgments. All you reveal is that you have a personal grudge against modern medicine, among other things. That is your problem to deal with, not mine. Quit trying to twist the Bible and the words of others to serve your bizarre controversies. I’m not going to respond anymore to you on any subject so long as you play these dishonest games.

        Hello, Kayjae,

Christ has sent me to proclaim the gospel, not with words of wisdom, lest the cross of Christ is emptied of its power. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those ‘cross-less’ virgins in Christ’s Bride who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. Has not God made foolish the carnal-minded wisdom of the world (Socialism’s medical technocracy)? For since in the wisdom of God, the world through its scientific wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those wise cross-bearing virgins who believe. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s (i.e. king Asa’s sinful physicians’ medical) strength. God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly and despised (i.e. John Shaphat) things of the world, and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast in His presence.

Therefore, Kayjae, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”

“I’m not going to respond anymore to you on any subject so long as you play these dishonest games.”

I think this is the best course of action since John Shaphat is living in his own delusional world.
He is not open to reason. Instead he just blocks out the truth and reality as he seeks to protect his delusion.

Like you, I have argued with him in an attempt to stop his lies but he just responds with more lies. I am weary of his constant disruptive tactics.

I have come to realise that it’s not my job to moderate his constant nonsense. If he continues to discredit my testimony then I’ll just simply stop contributing to this forum.

RE: “Because of Adam’s sin, we are all born with moral and physical imperfections and we have to deal with those imperfections. Many children are born with health defects that require medical intervention. They haven’t sinned yet so their health problems are not because they have sinned.”

Because of Adam’s sin, we inherently are all born spiritually dead, with degenerate moral and physical imperfections. We socially secured sinners who refuse to take up our daily cross and obediently follow Jesus must humanistically deal with our sin nature’s imperfections by self-righteously using the technocratic tools that Socialism’s welfare state has made available to us including the utopian medical wonders of the WHO. The digitally-marked souls of many unregenerate children, that are born within Sodom and Gomorrah’s Socialistically Secured global village, suffer from health defects that require WHO’s medical intervention. According to humanism’s Social Justice gospel, they haven’t sinned yet so their mortal health problems are NOT because they have an unrepentant carnal-minded sin nature that inherently is enmity against God. 1. Hello Rachel I don’t know who your comment is addressed to so I’ll presume it is to me.

I agree that as man discovers more about human biology that there is the risk of some people using it for evil in an attempt to play God but I would argue that there is also the possibility of people using it for good.

In my first comment I have simply asked how we as Christians should react to the new development in stem cell technology.

      I said:

“So the question is whether as Christians we can ethically justify this scientific endeavour.”

In order to answer my question I felt that it was necessary to look at the pros and cons of what this technology has to offer and to draw a comparison with how advances in medicine are currently being used to help many people.

But I felt that the initial response I received was negatively biased and lacked a fair and balanced consideration of the facts.

I think that there was too much hype about the evil potential of this new technology and that nobody was willing to consider the potential good that it might have to offer if only to make an INFORMED decision on the ethics of this technology, from a Christian point of view.

I think that there is a hyped mindset among many Christians these days.
A hyped mindset is dangerous and can be used to manipulate people because they are not thinking rationally.

Trump exploits this dynamic as did Hitler whom Trump admires.

So my aim was to encourage people to stop and think before going along with a given narrative.

In my assessment of stem technology, I haven’t made a categorical statement as to whether it is good or bad. But some comments treated me as if I had. I was dismissed as somebody who just doesn’t get it.

But I would argue that those who follow a biased narrative without question, are in fact, the one’s who, don’t get it.

I’m happy that my comment prompted responses from Kayjae and Andy which were more rational and showed an intelligent assessment of the subject being discussed.

A rational debate is very healthy if we are to have a balanced understanding of the developments which are happening in the world today.

      1. Anthony—stem cell technology has been debated for some years (mainly the use of fetal stem cells which were derived from aborted babies) but stem cell technology using adult stem cells used in today’s medicine have had good benefits without the ethical problems (or medical risks as posed by fetal stem cells). However, there are some, like actor Michael J Fox ( who has Parkinson’s) who campaigns for no restrictions on the use of fetal stem cells. He is desperate for a cure so he has been quite adamant that the ethics question is irrelevant, even uncharitable. So the battle continues over whether we can justify harvesting cures without regard as how they were derived or what was exploited. Medicine shouldn’t lend itself to consumerism of this sort.

Re: Leo’s article. Now we see a situation developing where stem cell technology is being pushed further, where the possibility of creating life itself increasingly evolves as the end goal, using the creation of transplantable organs as the path or justification of the practice. Where is the ethical oversight on this development? If there is an ethics board overseeing these labs, what ethic now guides that board’s discussion in a post-post Christian world? (Not to mention what ethic would guide labs in countries that never had a Christian ethic?).

Historically, Science is guided mostly by utilitarianism more than ethics or respect of human life. For instance, atomic energy’s main scientific impetus was directed and exploited by the military and used to vaporize 160k people, although today it also powers our electricity (a later development) which justifies our continued use of it, despite its huge management risks.

Our problem is the same as Adam and Eve. They ate from the Tree of the Kniwledge of Good and Evil before they were spiritually mature enough to handle it. They were tempted “to become like God” and so are we. I have certainly benefited from modern medicine and look forward to new and useful medical breakthroughs that I can use, but there are some scientific developments that need ethical supervision and I’m not sure those projects are getting it. Seeing how Covid was handled shows the extreme corruption of medicine and science by politics and greed quite dramatically.

So we need to question more whether some of our new “cures” may be worse than our diseases. The Covid vaccines and the mandated use of a dangerous and failed drug Remdisivir are certainly examples of that.

Perhaps there ought to be more Christians in science.

        Thanks Kayjae
There will always be ethical questions in the use of new medical technology and I agree that most scientists cannot be relied on to follow Christian ethics.

I don’t think that they are intentionally trying to play god. I think experimental scientists are driven by curiosity, fame and fortune. There is huge prestige to be had when a scientists makes a dramatic breakthrough.

A medical scientist without ethics will take al sorts of risks and cross every ethical boundary.
In my city there is a graveyard (Glasnevin Cemetery) with an outer wall and observation towers which were built to help prevent the graves from being dug up by grave robbers who exhumed the bodies of those who had just been buried and then sold the bodies to the medical profession for experimentation and study.

That was in the old days. So even in a time when Christian ethics were taught, certain unscrupulous people in the medical profession showed scant regard for God or the law.

Ultimately it is down to us as Christians to make our own ethical decisions as to what medical innovations we can avail of, based on our own Christian understanding and circumstance. We cant rely on the medical profession to be in tune with our Christian ethics so we must discern for ourselves, between the good and the bad of what the medical profession has to offer.

PS. I don’t think that Adam and Eve would have ever reached the maturity whereby they could cope with the knowledge of good and evil.

Once they had discovered the knowledge of good and evil, they had discovered the evil potential that comes with being human which is why they hid themselves in shame from God.

We as mortal human beings can never fully master our sinful potential which is why we will need to be given glorified bodies in order to be united with Jesus Christ when He returns.

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2)

  5. I’m going to be controversial here and ask is there a positive side to this new development and what ethical stance should a Christian take.

From what Ii understand these scientists have NOT created human beings.

Human beings by definition have a spirit and a soul. A spirit or a soul cannot be made by stem cell manipulation.

What these scientists have discovered is a way to use existing stem cell technology to grow organs which can be grafted into human beings.

So the question is whether as Christians we can ethically justify this scientific endeavour.

We currently see surgery being used to cure many people. Heart transplants kidney transplants. Hormonal treatment for people who have a hormone deficiency. I could go on!

If a Christian thinks that these procedures are ok, can he then condemn an advancement in growing organs. Growing organs by using stem cell technology would reduce the market for illegal organ harvesting.

As Kayjae has pointed out, organs are being stolen from living people. I’ve also read about somebody undergoing an operation only to find out that an organ was removed without their knowledge or consent.

I think that it would be hypocritical to accept organ donations and hormone treatments and then condemn the science of growing organs using stem cell technology.

I’m just saying that before a Christian makes a judgement on this new development in stem technology, he should first consider his stance on the current organ transplant technology.

    ‘New’, is not necessarily bad.

    Just my opinion folks.

    1. Anthony, if I thought the medical establishment was totally honest I would agree with you. But one thing I learned from Covid is that they are anything but honest. Every new advancement in technology does of course have positive applications, the computer being one of the most obvious examples. But because of the fallen state of mankind and the apostate church that no longer seems to have any influence on the world, we are seeing the results of science run amok. Whatever ethical boundaries they once had are now being crossed. So they can say they are doing this for organ transplants on the one hand, and I’m sure that will be one application, while on the other hand they are crossing ethical boundaries and trying to “take it to the next level,” which I have no doubt in my mind they will use this to create some sort of hybrid creature that will be used for nefarious purposes. The struggle I am having right now is that I see Christians who, even after all what we have seen over the past two and a half years, still cannot connect all the dots and realize that the entire world system has been corrupted and is being used for evil. All of it. Name me one institution that has not been infiltrated and corrupted by people with demonic worldviews? I can’t think of one. So how can we sit here and think these advancements in tech will ONLY be used for good? No, the good is just a cover for the evil. This is a very old strategy of the enemy. The Masons perfected it long ago. They cloak their darkness in light. We’ve got to be more accepting of just how expansive and all-inclusive the darkness has stretched out over the globe. This is why so many of us have concluded that it’s past the point of no return, or at least close to that point, at which only the return of Christ can turn it around. Just my thoughts. Thank you for sharing yours. Always appreciated. 99.9 percent of the time I agree with your analyses but on this one I think you’re being just a bit naive.

        Hello Leo
Your comment amuses me. You will know from reading my many comments that I am well aware of the forces of evil operating in the world and that I believe we are in the end times and on the precipice of the ‘great tribulation’
I am also aware of how the medical system has been hijacked and is being used to usher in the ‘global reset’ via the poison jab etc. But I haven’t allowed this to blind me to the good side of medicine which coexists with all that’s going on.

While all this evil is happening at the top, we can see the other part of the picture by simply walking down the street where we will see conscientious pharmacy staff filling prescriptions for all sorts of people suffering all sorts of illnesses. We should also remember the thousands of medical professionals who have lost their career by not co-operating with the vaccine mandate, not to mention the whistle blowers in the medical system who have exposed the fake pandemic.

You are emotionally charged with regard to the article you’ve written and I can understand that but I believe that your emotions have clouded your judgement.

I am not denying the evil potential of this new development in stem cell technology. I am simply saying that we should balance that by looking at any good potential from this technology and I have pointed to some potentially positive outcomes which I believe may ensue.

Our reaction to this new development in Stem cell technology should be balanced so that we can properly assess all of the potential of this new development and not just what evil people might do with it, so that we can come to a measured response with regard to considering the moral and ethical implications from a Christian perspective.

      1. Hello John
You are an example of what I’m talking about. It seems that you have lost your balance. Your comments show a lack of reasoning ability and an unwillingness to converse normally.

I remember suggesting one time to someone that they should seek help but that person refused because he was too paranoid of the medical profession for religious reasons.

This is what happens when a person develops negative tunnel vision. They shut everything out so that their world becomes smaller and smaller until they lose hold of reality and become unable to engage with the world.

We have to engage with the world at some level which is why Jesus said
” Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” (Mat 22:21)

We have to be able to see both sides of an argument if we are to reach a proper and balanced understanding of the world we live in. It concerns me that none of the comments so far have been supportive of my comment.

I’m not sad for my own sake but I believe that it’s a sad indication that some of us might be locked into a negative tunnel vision of the world around us.

Throughout history bad people have hijacked engineering and medical progress and twisted it to their own ends but that is only one side of the story.
The other side of the story is that countless people have been helped by the inventions of engineers and by the medical profession. Whether simply having a tooth removed or getting antibiotics for a chest infection or having life saving surgery.

Even the scriptures have been hijacked by evil people and have been misused through the ages.
So does that mean that the bible should never have been printed for fear that somebody would inevitably misuse it?

Of course not, because whatever the evil people choose to do with the bible, it can still be used by Christians to learn about God and His truth and to share the gospel to the glory of Jesus Christ.

I believe that Leo’s article and the comments of the community are too one sided and my comments are an attempt to address this imbalance, as I see it, and to encourage Christians to have a fair and balanced approach to the world we live in and to everyday people, many of whom are working hard and do an honest days work to provide for themselves and their families.

I am not going to tar everybody and every effort they make, with the same brush. I will acknowledge that there is good and bad out there and I will use discernment to see the difference between them and to embrace the good in so far as I am able.

    3. Hello Anthony–

I understand the concern you have and I do think we should be discerning (or “balanced” as you say) about the new technologies and medical techniques. Good and bad results have indeed manifested themselves in their use. We need to use the good and avoid the bad–there’s plenty of sound info online to figure out which is which. For that, the Internet has been a great tool. Before Internet, I would have had to travel to many specialist libraries to obtain the info I needed. I can now avail myself of a lot of info online to solve medical or technical problems and then discuss these with professionals and make my decision based on that. I’m not a Luddite.

On the other hand, I appreciate Leo’s warnings about serious abuses of this technology and science that are causing some potentially catastrophic problems and that there appears to be very malign motivation behind these abuses. Secularists Robert F. Kennedy Jr and Naomi Wolf, among others, are also writing about these problems and naming names and pointing fingers at the guilty and I think they should be heeded. Leo’s religious point of view gives a deeper dimension to all this because it’s becoming increasingly obvious there is a hugely malign influence at work globally and many, even secularists, are beginning to see and call out Evil and the demonic at work in our era.

It’s going to be increasing difficult to protect oneself from the technology (like digital currencies, surveillance, digital IDs, medical passports).or from corrupted medical and scientific practices (like how covid patients are treated in hospitals or rather not treated, unsafe vaccines, transgender surgeries, use of fetal stem cells or aborted baby parts, gain of function to weaponize microbes etc). Not to mention the long time suppression by Big Pharma and our “captured” federal health oversight agencies of genuine cures to continue to milk more money out of outdated and inadequate medical treatments. While there is certainly a lot of good modern medicine and science and technology available, the corruption and evil intent has become much more visible and assertive and beginning to overwhelm the good. This is what we must be wary of and I don’t mind someone warning me. Too many people, including Christians, are very ignorant of this trend and are walking into traps. So I see the value of Leo’s work.

I am mindful of your concern that there is a kind of hysteria, irrationality, even despair, being expressed as we see these dangers coming towards us. There’s no question the world is passing into a new dangerous era. So everyone is busy rushing around looking for the “Beast” or the “Anti-christ” and argue endlessly about who or what today fills these roles. Or looking for the Rapture to escape the whole show. I don’t find these overwrought speculations or escapism helpful (and I hope I have not contributed to that). Our response to frightening things needs to be rational, solution-oriented–and full of hope.

The Book of Revelation was written specifically for 1st century Jewish Christians and has general relevance for Christians throughout the centuries. There have been beast systems and anti-christs popping up for the last 2000 years. What Christians needed in those dangerous times and ours is not the “thousand yard stare” speculation on evil tidings, but absolute faith in Jesus Christ our savior to help us repent, conquer and purge our fears and temptation to be saved from the Evil One, and conform ourselves to the image of God to reign with Christ. Because the Book of Revelation begins: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ…” and the Person who is most revealed in that book is Christ himself–King of Kings, Lord of Lords-while those who sought to supplant him throughout history fall forever. Really, the fight against Evil begins and ends within ourselves, as we master ourselves for Christ’s sake. That is our main task and everything else will fall into its proper place. And having done that, we shall not be moved. (“I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”) Psalm 16:8

      1. Sadly, our friend Anthony has failed to learn the primary lesson of the Covid scamdemic. That if government and its corporate partners in Big Tech and Big Pharma can exploit technology for evil, they will. That’s not to say the technology itself is bad or that it cannon also be used for good. But the forces of evil are so endemic in the world today, so overpowering, that they have hijacked almost every institution and run it largely for their own agenda. That doesn’t mean everything they do it evil. But at the end of the day they are pushing the evil agenda forward.

      2. Thanks Kayjae for bringing some balance into the conservation.

If I could just focus on your comment, where you say
“I am mindful of your concern that there is a kind of hysteria, irrationality, even despair, being expressed as we see these dangers coming towards us”

I think Kayjae that you’ve hit the nail on the head there.

This hysterical state of mind is what empowers people like Donald Trump to exploit people who find security in consensus . Hysteria is a powerful tool and can be used to manipulate people who have lost their ability to discern and be objective about what’s going on around them. Hitler used the dynamics of hysteria very effectively, and we know what that led to.
Trump uses hysteria to the extent that many of his supporters have lost their critical thinking and are unable to question his part in rolling out the poison jab and also 5G
My first response to Leo’s article was not just out of concern about the article itself but I was also concerned about how people reacted with unquestioning support that showed no objective thought process. This is a dangerous state of mind which I notice in some people who regularly visit alternative news sites.

So, I sought to encourage discernment and balance among the readers by asking if there might be a positive side to this new development and I asked what ethical stance should a Christian take.

I am well aware of the evil forces that exist and which are pervasive especially in the upper ranks of the system. But we must not be so consumed by this movement that we can only see evil to the extent that we are blinded to any good that’s out there.

Until your balanced comment there was only negative responses to my comment. So I’m encouraged that now a balanced conversation has begun and hope that others will join in and will in the future just stop for a moment and think objectively about everything they read and are told by the media whether it be the popular media or the alternative media.
PS. I will offer my opinion on Revelation later in a separate post.

    4. Anthony, you are correct that “new” isn’t necessarily bad. The morality of technology is based on how it is used, which of course is a choice that resides with the user.

If technology is used to help some without hurting others, then it is good, and bad if harm without helping others. What about when technology helps some and hurts others? What if one of these “synthetic humans” is accidentally permitted to live and we find it IS alive, and a person?

There were so many issues with using embryonic stem cell treatments that didn’t exist when using adult stem cells that I believe God has programmed something to cause this to self-abort.

However, the ultimate things to consider is that humans are not “good” or “bad”:

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
      Jeremiah 17:9

Technology will eventually be used for evil because all the users are broken.

And never trust people who have never told the truth. Fauci is a really good example of where the world scientific community’s minds are right now.

This is going to go bad very quickly. But I could see replacement “parts” being grown this way, claimed as totally, completely, 110% fool-proof yessiry-Bob safe, and then murmurings of new never-before-seen cancers and other diseases suddenly appearing.

I would also consider: stem cells are useful because they can become multiple different types of cells. What if these scientists cause some cells to transmute into something unintended that “is like” human, but utterly destructive and infective because it reproduces yet our own bodies cannot tell the difference? Something that has an effect like the “good” E. coli in our gut versus the kind of E. coli that kills you through food poisonings? Our body can’t tell the difference, but one is symbiotic and the other merely parasitic, and the parasitic replaces the good version. If one of these people gets infected and walks out, and if it is transferrable, what if there is an incubation period? Airborne HIV, anyone?

Sure it’s unlikely, but it’s catastrophic and POSSIBLE, so for anyone who has ever created an acceptable risk diagram, you know what I’m referring to: no matter how unlikely something may be, a non-zero possibility is sometimes completely unacceptable. And in a sane world the project would be scrapped.

What are these people even hoping to accomplish? We can already make replacement bladders from pig bladders, replacement parts for other organs as well via mechanical as well as biological processes. What is the underlying NEED these people have to be so obsessed with stem cells and creating life that must then be killed “to serve a purpose”?

It’s a God-complex, pure and simple. There are simpler ways that are much further along technologically that can create replacement body parts that do not require the creation and ending of (even potential) life. And other approaches are much more efficient: grow a single replacement organ from a specific patient’s adult stem cells would be a much better path to travel than creating most of an entire endosystem and throwing out 50% or more. “Sure, we just wanted a new liver, so out with the brain/lungs/heart/etc.!

Waste not, want not. Left unchecked, the elite would have no qualms about growing clones of themselves and simply murdering one whenever the original “needs a spare”.

That’s what this is fundamentally about: overcoming death. Their thinking is “Can’t send us to Hell if we don’t die!” And if there is no justice, no punishment for wrongs, how evil will people let themselves become?

I swear, it’s like people were told “it can always get worse” and instead heard rhumba music and people chanting “How looow can you gooo?!”

      1. Thanks Andy, there’s some great detail in your comment.

One question you ask, sums up your argument very well:

        YOU ASK:

“What if one of these “synthetic humans” is accidentally permitted to live and we find it IS alive, and a person?”

        MY ANSWER:
And what if the real humans around us start shooting each other and abusing their children and aborting their children and fall into drug and alcohol addiction, prostitution and immorality, and what if, and what if, and what if ! !

So for fear of the evil potential associated with giving birth, one could argue that we should not allow people to have children any more, because of the negative potential associated with the birth of a human being.
Do you see where this type of logic is headed. Just simply having a baby risks that the child might grow up and become another Hitler or Stalin or Chairman Mao Zedong.

The truth is that we live in an evil world and evil is inevitable. But we cannot allow that to obscure our view of any good potential which might be out there. As I’ve said already many inventions can be used for good AND bad. So we should not let ourselves slip into a biased hysteria which would prevent us from seeing the potential good of an engineering or medical development.

All I am saying is that in order to make a proper assessment of technological development we have to look at ALL of it’s potential, not just the negatives.

In order for a Christian to make a moral judgement on this issue, he must assess the sum of ALL it’s parts.

Is that not a reasonable suggestion.

    5. I’m going to be controversial here and ask if there is a positive side for the virgins in Christ’s Bride who disregard God’s Revelation 18:4 commandment and comfortably remain dependent wards within the Socialistic Security System of Babel’s technocratically-reset global village. According to the Angel of Light’s egalitarian social justice gospel, these foolish virgins believe they should have a balanced carnal-minded view of good and evil, light and darkness, hot and cold, by lukewarmly looking at any potentially positive outcomes that may ensue from the health and welfare system of Socialism’s Satanic technocracy.

Many foolish virgins in Christ’s Bride have refused to obey His sanctifying Revelation commandment. Therefore they eat the bread and drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner and are guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. For they foolishly eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many Socially Secured (SS#) virgins among the Bride of Christ are weak, sickly, and die from COVID, cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and all the malignant incurable diseases of ‘Egypt’. While all these evil diseases and plaques are happening within Socialism’s demonic Security System, we can see the other part of the compromised BALANCED picture by simply walking down Marxism’s Broadway where we will see conscientious pharmacy staff filling drug prescriptions for all sorts of unrepentant people suffering from God’s strong delusion and all kinds of illnesses.

If you virgins in Christ’s Bride wisely keep His Gospel’s commandment, then the LORD your God will remove from you all sickness. He will not lay upon you any of the terrible diseases the children of Israel knew in Egypt, but He will inflict them on all fools who hate you. Deuteronomy 7:15

RE: I’m just saying that before a Christian judges Technocracy’s new development in stem technology, he should first consider his balanced stance on WHO’s current organ transplant technology. ‘New’, is not necessarily bad according to my carnal-minded opinion folks. Anthony William

Once again you are twisting my words by inserting your own words into my sentences to create a lie. This is a sin on your part.
But for the sake of others who may be reading, I will reply to your comment. And will attempt to unravel the mess which is your comment to me.

We know that the evangelist Luke, was a physician.

We know that Timothy who was a devout Christian who suffered from bad health and that Paul advised him to drink wine to help him manage his infirmity in his stomach. Paul didn’t accuse Timothy of sin or tell him that he needed to repent in order to get well.
No! instead, Paul told Timothy to drink a little wine for medicinal purposes.

        1 Timothy 5:23 |
Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.

We know that the blind man who Jesus healed wasn’t blind because of his sin. He was born blind that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Because of Adam’s sin, we are all born with moral and physical imperfections and we have to deal with those imperfections.
We deal with our moral imperfections by denying our sinful nature and we deal with our physical imperfections by using the tools available to us including medicine.

Many children are born with health defects which require medical intervention. They haven’t sinned yet so their health problems are not because they have sinned.

In some cases, whole families are affected by an illness like asthma for example. Other families are affected my mental illness which is passed on from parents to children due to a genetic defect.

I would remind you John Shaphat that we are all sinners. The apostle John says
“8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

The example you give from Deuteronomy was a promise made to Israel at a particular time and circumstance. But you have removed it from it’s context and added your own words into text in an effort to manipulate God’s truth in order to support your lies. It is a sin to do what you have done.
In Deuteronomy Moses was exhorting Israel to keep God’s commandments when they enter the new land.
In chapter 13 Moses goes on to say that if somebody encourages the worship of other god’s that he or she is to be stoned to death.

So Moses is obviously not addressing today’s Christian church.
        Deuteronomy 13

9 “But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
10And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
11And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.”

So getting back to the present:

I eat healthy food because I know that junk food is not good for my health. I exercise regularly because I know that exercise is good for my body. I had a bad tooth abscess some time ago and I had to take antibiotics to cure the infection before going the dentist and having the tooth removed. I used the common sense that God gave me.

I use the common sense to keep myself healthy and look after my body which is the temple of God. I thank God that I am very healthy overall, but I do not have a glorified body yet, so I am not exempt from getting sick and I do my best to keep myself healthy to avoid getting sick.

Some children are born with an illness through no fault of their own. So are they to be denied medication and be allowed to suffer needlessly??
The danger for you John Shaphat is that you have abandoned common sense. This is a dangerous thing to do.

You and I have talked in the past the parents who let a little child die by refusing to give her antibiotics based on their misconceived notion that Christians should not take medication. I Remember, then, that you refused to answer a straightforward question, as to whether the parents were correct when they allowed their little girl to suffer and die by denying her some antibiotic tablets which would have saved her life.
So I will ask you again.
DID THOSE PARENTS DO THE RIGHT THING ?? answer YES or NO !!
        Please answer the question.

    6. Kayjae and Anthony William:

RE: I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much holy fruit; for without Me you can do nothing to overcome the deadly power of SIN. John 15:5

Our problem is the same as Adam and Eve’s. On the day they independently found themselves facing the deadly Dragon’s overpowering humanistic social gospel, without the protecting Presence of their Good Shepherd—the LORD Jesus, they discovered SIN’S evil spiritual death that comes from faithlessly disobeying His Gospel’s lifesaving commandment: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

Discovering themselves to have become degenerate, sinful human beings, without the Holy Spirit’s righteous covering, they nakedly hid in shame from God’s holiness. We as degenerate unrepentant human beings can never self-righteously master our naked, carnal-minded sinful nature. This is why we in repentance need to be crucified and born again, obediently taking up our daily cross and dying to our sinful SELF-willed life. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom Satan’s Socialistically Secured UN world order is crucified unto me, and I unto Technocracy’s Orwellian New World Order. Only a few wise virgins in Christ’s cross-bearing Bride will be given glorified bodies in order to be united with Jesus Christ when He returns. Galatians 6:14

Sadly, never having faithfully received Jesus- the Great Physician’s miraculous healings and protective health provisions, many cross-less ‘christians’ can be heard saying that they have certainly benefited from the un-crucified world’s modern medicine and look forward to new and useful medical breakthroughs that they can use to save their un-crucified self-willed lives.

      1. John—You misquoted John 15:5. It does not end “to overcome the deadly power of sin”.

John 15:5 does not limit itself to “sin” issues but John 15:1-5 includes how we produce fruit in every aspect of our lives by our abiding in Him. That includes our work for our fellow man on behalf of Christ. In Christian history, medical care has always been a ministry. Some of our greatest missionaries and saints have provided medical care in places that were totally lacking in it, using ancient or modern techniques along with prayer. You should read the life of Physicians such as St Panteleimon (3rd century) and St Luke of the Crimea (a 20th century surgeon). Both suffered persecution you have never experienced and they used their God-given talents, learning and compassion to heal their fellow man. They dedicated their lives to relieve suffering, ministering to their patients physically and spiritually.

God expects mankind to be the stewards of this world, and to be doing God’s work. This was man’s commission before the Fall and remains so afterwards. This work takes many forms and everyone participates to some degree. Whether the doctor or nurse is Christian or not, God provides these people to help the sick or injured because that’s one way we minister to each other. Non-Christians are recruited into this work by God, too, whether they know they function as God’s instrument or not.

Just like the men who work to provide clean water, cleaning supplies, sewage, garbage and pest removal, basic sanitation and anything else that protects us from disease that YOU definitely benefit from on a daily basis. And maybe few of those workers are Christians but they are doctors of our environment and therefore ministers for good, too.

God gave us water to slake our thirst, keeping us healthy, and to wash with so that we are not covered with disease-causing filth. But if we stupidly refuse to use water, we have disdained God’s gift and risk sickness. He gave us medicines, most of them derived from His plants. Shall we reject them and wait instead for God to miraculously and spectacularly heal us while we neglect His more ordinary remedies?? He provides us all manner of food to sustain us, even heal us, shall we throw it back at Him and call it garbage because a mere farmer, (perhaps a non-believer) grows our food?? I’m sure you don’t refuse what the farmer provides for your sustenance, either.

So I don’t see any reason to treat with foolish contempt the modern medicine that saved my life 30 years ago. God provided me with the doctors and nurses to help me through that crisis and make no mistake, plenty of prayers to God were uttered on my behalf including my own. And you cannot prove to me that I am, as you say, “a cross-less Christian” for having availed myself of God’s medical ministers and other gifts of health and healing. I’m very grateful to God for all that he provided me through His many ministers through all my life. You ought to be, too, instead of pouring your erroneous judgment on it.

  7. Our scientific culture recognizes no God as our supreme Creator, has no morals and is guided by no ethics except raw utilitarianism. Our contemporary Dr Mengeles who populate our universities and government agencies are creating “life” whose only purpose is to be used for “harvesting” transplantable organs And this ersatz “life” would be granted its sole legal existence through patents to conveniently skirt around the inconvenient concept that human life is “endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights”.

What does a God-less society look like? We already have been harvesting body parts from aborted babies for a long while and this gruesome trade has not abated despite its exposure and the end of Roe v Wade. It’s an evil that’s been accepted like so many other evils and this newest evil too, will be accepted and assimilated into our increasingly Frankenstein medical practices. And why is it that no one in the scientific or medical world questions this?? And WHO is financing this lab created life??

There is big business in human organs and not many questions are asked how the organs are obtained. In China, thousands of people are missing because they are being “harvested” for their organs and the victims have their organs extracted while they are still living, without anesthesia. That’s what a God-less society does with impunity. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-world-and-everything-in-it/id454755642?i=1000577521583

It’s total consumerism. We devour each other and we accept it as just another part of modern life and all its conveniences. A novel variation of cannibalism (and even raw cannibalism is being touted in the media as the smartest trend). https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/07/24/new-york-times-accused-normalizing-cannibalism-publishing-bizarre-essay/ So already all this is being “accepted.”

How utterly soulless we’ve become as we usurp God’s place. Hiw long before we say “Enough!” Are we even capable of that anymore? How long before God says “Enough!”

What do you say? Now we can also develop whatever you have created on earth. Our department has developed everything. We can do everything.
