Noted transhumanist now targeting our children: What’s inside Yuval Noah Harari’s new book for kids?

Deborah DeGroff is an author and expert on children’s books, which she analyzes from a biblical perspective. In her latest article, she peels back the layers of deception in a new book by noted globalist, futurist and transhumanist Yuval Noah Harari.

Some have described Harari, a gifted storyteller, as one of the world’s most dangerous men. He serves as one of Klaus Schwab’s top advisers at the World Economic Forum, has written many books and is a sought-after speaker not only at the WEF but on college campuses worldwide. He has stated that he believes humans are “hackable animals” devoid of a free will or a soul and that because we accepted mass surveillance during the Covid lockdowns, it’s just a matter of time before we accept the next step in a coming global technocracy — placing that surveillance “under the skin.”

In fact, Harari makes it quite clear what kind of god he will worship (see video below).

But with a brand-new book hitting the bookstores, this marks Harari’s first attempt to get at our children. The book, targeting 10 to 14-year-olds, is being heavily marketed and will be the first in a four-part series, so the chances your child or grandchild will come in contact with it at some point are pretty high.

Here is DeGroff’s penetrating look at one of the world’s most dangerous men and how he’s working to get access to the minds of our most vulnerable and impressionable – our children.

By Deborah DeGroff

Who is Yuval Noah Harari and why has he become so influential? What is his message? Does his heavily-marketed new book for children echo the same sentiments he so adamantly feeds his adult audiences?

Professor Yuval Noah Harari is a historian, philosopher, and the bestselling author of Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, and Sapiens: A Graphic History. His books have sold over 40 million copies in 65 languages, and he is considered one of the world’s most influential public intellectuals today. [Click here to read the complete bio on Harari’s website.]

Harari was a keynote speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in both 2018 and 2020. His speeches and interviews on various media platforms are watched by millions.

Harari is not shy about stating his beliefs. In a nutshell, in Harari’s gospel there is no God, no soul, and no freewill. Once these pillars are accepted as truth by his followers—many of whom are in positions of power—the next step will be deciding the fate of billions of people who are no longer necessary in a future world that consists of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and transhumanism.

Harari’s book, Sapiens, was endorsed by Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Barak Obama.

Christopher Carbone wrote the article, “Humans Will Eventually Merge With Machines, Professor Says,” for Fox News in July 2019, stating:

“It’s increasingly hard to tell where I end and where the computer begins,” Harari, a professor of history at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, told the audience at the Fast Company European Innovation Festival. “In the future, it is likely that the smartphone will not be separated from you at all. It may be embedded in your body or brain, constantly scanning your biometric data and your emotions.”

Harari continued: “If we told our ancestors in the Stone Age about our lives today, they would think we are already Gods. But the truth is that even though we have developed more sophisticated tools, we are the same animals. We have the same emotions, the same minds. The coming revolution will change that. It will change not just our tools, it will change the human being itself.”

In his speech at the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos, Harari informed his audience that automation will soon eliminate millions upon millions of jobs (creating a large class of “useless people”). Harari stated:

Old jobs will disappear, new jobs will emerge, but then the new jobs will rapidly change and vanish. Whereas in the past humans had to struggle against exploitation, in the 21st century the really big struggle will be against irrelevance.

And it is much worse to be irrelevant than exploited.

Those who fail in the struggle against irrelevance would constitute a new “useless class” – people who are useless not from the viewpoint of their friends and family, but useless from the viewpoint of the economic and political system.

. . . And what will happen to politics in your country in twenty years, when somebody in San Francisco or Beijing knows the entire medical and personal history of every politician, every judge and every journalist in your country, including all their sexual escapades, all their mental weaknesses and all their corrupt dealings? Will it still be an independent country or will it become a data-colony?

When you have enough data you don’t need to send soldiers, in order to control a country.

. . . If you know enough biology and have enough computing power and data, you can hack my body and my brain and my life, and you can understand me better than I understand myself. . . . You know more about me than I know about myself. And you can do that not just to me, but to everyone.

A system that understands us better than we understand ourselves can predict our feelings and decisions, can manipulate our feelings and decisions, and can ultimately make decisions for us.

. . . But soon at least some corporations and governments will be able to systematically hack all the people. We humans should get used to the idea that we are no longer mysterious souls – we are now hackable animals. That’s what we are.

. . . In the coming decades, AI and biotechnology will give us godlike abilities to reengineer life, and even to create completely new life-forms. After four billion years of organic life shaped by natural selection, we are about to enter a new era of inorganic life shaped by intelligent design.

Our intelligent design is going to be the new driving force of the evolution of life. . .  [Click here to read the speech]

Chris Anderson, head of TED media, interviewed Harari in August 2022. Anderson commented that Harari strongly recommends meditation. Harari responded that he meditates for two hours each day and that he does the Vipassana meditation, which he learned from S.N. Goenka.

“And . . . my yearly vacation is to go on a long retreat of between say 30 days and 60 days. I just came back last month from a 60-day meditation retreat,” Harari says. [Click here to listen, starting at 45:20.]

During this interview, Harari tells Anderson he isn’t against technology as it “can bring enormous benefits to humanity as a whole.” He continues that he “met [his] husband online in one of the first dating sites for LGBT people in Israel in the early 2000s.” [Click here to listen. Yuval Noah Harari holds great influence with many people in positions of power. Up until recently, this audience has consisted of adults.

Now, Harari is introducing his message to children.

Autumn 2022 saw Harari venturing into the world of children’s books, with the pre-teen series Unstoppable Us. Here, he tells the unbelievable true story of humans – our all-conquering and insatiable species – in a way that is accessible to kids. The series will be published in four volumes, featuring full-color illustrations, starting with Unstoppable Us, Volume 1: How Humans Took Over the World.

Harari includes a Timeline of History at the beginning of Unstoppable Us.

PART 1, HISTORY OF HUMANITY

He begins with 6 million years ago with a picture of an upright creature that is a cross between a human and an ape. The caption reads that this was the “last common ancestor of humans and chimpanzees.”

He follows with a jump to the 2.5 million years ago mark in which he states that “Humans evolve in Africa.” The Gospel of Harari moves forward another half-million years with the “[e]volution of different kinds of humans.”

By 400,000 years ago, “Neanderthals evolve in Europe and the Middle East” and 300,000 years ago, “Sapiens evolve in Africa.” 70,000 years ago, “the Sapiens leave Africa in large numbers.” 35,000 years ago the Neanderthals are extinct and “Sapiens are the last surviving kind of human.”

“Planet Earth was once ruled by many different animals . . . But now we humans rule everything: the land, the sea, and the sky. . . . The only reason lions, dolphins, and eagles still exist is because we allow them to.”

He concludes this introduction with, “AND it’s a true story.”

Chapter 1 teaches the children that millions of years ago, we were just ordinary animals who ate worms and climbed trees to pick fruit. Until humans learned to make tools, the other animals weren’t afraid of them.

Harari explains that when kids wake up in the night frightened that there are monsters under their beds that this is simply “a memory from millions of years ago . . . [when] monsters . . . sneaked up on children in the night.” His example is of a lion coming to eat the child. This idea is repeated in the closing of his book.

Next, the humans invented fire.

“A single weak human with a fire stick could burn down an entire forest in a matter of hours, destroying thousands of trees and killing thousands of animals.”

Now, the humans could cook their food. As a result, “humans started to change: they had smaller teeth, smaller stomachs . . . and much more free time.”

Harari expands on this by stating that some scientists “suggest it was cooking that made it possible for the human brain to start growing.”

Once they started cooking . . . humans could spend far less energy chewing and digesting and had more energy to feed big brains. Their stomachs shrank, their brains grew, and people got smarter.

In the next chapter, the children learn that “our planet was actually home to many different kinds of humans.”

Harari introduces the Floresians and follows with the “bigger-brained” Neanderthals, and the Denisovans. However, according to him, the Sapiens eventually killed off all of these “ancestors.”

“. . . when the new super-Sapiens reached Europe, they picked all the pears, ate all the berries, and hunted all the deer. This meant that the local Neanderthals had nothing left to eat, so they died of hunger. And if any Neanderthals tried to stop the Sapiens from taking all the food, the Sapiens probably killed them.”

“Then our ancestors went to Siberia and took all the food from the Denisovans. And then they went to Flores, and . . . soon there wasn’t a single small human or small elephant to be found. And when all the other humans were gone, our ancestors still weren’t satisfied. Although they were now incredibly powerful, they wanted even more power and more food, so they sometimes fought one another.”

The next chapter begins with, “You see, we Sapiens are not very nice animals.” Often, he concludes, this is due to different skin colors, languages, or religions.

“But a few years ago, scientists discovered that at least some of our Sapiens ancestors didn’t kill or starve all the other humans they met.”

Harari explains that because of our knowledge of DNA, scientists have determined that some Neanderthals had children with Sapiens. I guess Harari intends for these middle-grade students to conclude that some people today are not 100% evil since they have some Neanderthal DNA . . .

Harari then speculates as to what the world would be like today if “our ancestors had been nicer and had allowed the Neanderthals and the Floresians to go on living and developing.”

PART 2: GOD IS JUST A FAIRY TALE

In Part 2 of the book, Harari’s explains why and how Sapiens ended up ruling the world. He says cooperation is what makes us so powerful.

Harari then poses the question:

“How did our ancestors learn to cooperate in large numbers in the first place, and how come we can constantly change our behavior?”

“[It’s] our ability to dream up stuff that isn’t really there and to tell all kinds of imaginary stories.”

“If thousands of people believe in the same story, then they’ll all follow the same rules, which means they can cooperate effectively.”

“Let’s say a Sapiens tells everyone this story: “There’s a Great Lion Spirit that lives above the clouds. If you obey the Great Lion Spirit, then when you die, you’ll go the land of the spirits, and you’ll have all the bananas you can eat. But if you disobey the Great Lion Spirit, a big lion will come and eat you!”

“Of course, this story isn’t true at all. But if a thousand people believe it, they’ll all start doing whatever the story tells them to do.”

He expands on this—just in case it went over any of the kids’ heads. “If you say, ‘The Great Lion Spirit wants everyone to give a banana to the priest in the temple, and in return, when they die, they’ll receive lots and lots of bananas in the land of the spirits,’ then a thousand people will bring bananas to the priest.”

“You could never persuade a chimpanzee to give you a banana by promising him that when he dies, he’ll go to chimpanzee heaven and have all the bananas he can eat . . . only Sapiens believe stories like that. And that’s why we rule the world, whereas poor chimps are locked up in zoos.”

“Some go fight people on the other side of the world because they believe that a god told them to. Others give lots of money to construct a big building because they believe that a god wants it.”

Harari next informs the kids about “one of the most interesting games grown-ups play . . . called ‘corporation.’” He uses McDonald’s Corporation as an illustration and informs the children that although you can go to the restaurants or talk to the employees, what they see is not McDonald’s as “it exists only in our imagination.”

“. . . If you want to open a restaurant but you don’t want to risk losing your socks or going to jail, you create a corporation. And then the corporation does everything and takes all the risks.”

“The corporation borrows money from the bank, and if it can’t repay the money, nobody can blame you for it, and nobody can take your house or your socks. After all, the bank gave the money to the corporation, not to you. And if somebody eats a burger and gets a really nasty stomachache, nobody can hold you responsible. You didn’t make that burger—the corporation did.”

“Well, money is also just another imaginary story that grown-ups believe. [Bankers and politicians] tell stories like “This small piece of paper is worth ten bananas,” and the grown-ups believe them.”

“. . . humans can quickly change the way we behave by simply changing the stories we believe.”

Harari then uses France to illustrate the next point he wants to make:

“People believed that a great god above the clouds said that France must be ruled by a king and that all French people must do whatever the king commanded. . . . But as long as French people believed this story, they obeyed their king.”

He follows with a story about a king’s daughter that wanted to rule France. “You can’t rule France,” they said, “because the great god above the clouds doesn’t like girls very much. The great god above the clouds is a boy, so he made boys much smarter and braver than girls. So a girl can’t rule the kingdom of France. Only boys can.” And because people believed the story, they wouldn’t let girls become rulers. In fact, they wouldn’t let them do all sorts of things: . . .

“But there are two important things to remember: people need stories in order to cooperate, and they can change the way they cooperate by changing the stories they believe.”

On page 72, Harari suggests that someone “might have told them stories” such as:

“The Great Lion Spirit wants us to get rid of the Neanderthals . . . [they] are very strong, but don’t worry. Even if a Neanderthal kills you, that’s actually a good thing because you’ll go to the land of the spirits above the clouds, where the Great Lion Spirit will welcome you and give you lots of blueberries and giraffe steaks to eat.”

“And people believed the story, so they cooperated to get rid of the Neanderthals.”

“. . . This belief in stories gave our ancestors so much power that they spread all over the world, conquering every land on the planet.”

HARARI’S CORRUPTED VIEW OF THE FAMILY

Harari, who is married to a man, also weighs in on families:

“Nowadays, some people have one partner for their entire life, some have many partners, and some remain single. In a few countries, one man can be married to several women at the same time. In other countries, two women can get married to each other, and so can two men.”

“Bonobo (chimpanzee) girls don’t dream about marrying a handsome prince—they’d usually prefer a cool girlfriend!”

Harari then speculates about the types of families there may have been in Stone Age times:

“. . . In the fourth hut, one woman, her three children, and her current girlfriend.”

“Well, maybe it was like that . . . and maybe not. It’s easy to imagine different possibilities, but scientists need to distinguish imagination from fact. . . . you need evidence.”

“. . . one tribe might have believed that after you died, you came back as a new baby, or perhaps even as an animal. Maybe a second tribe believed that when you died, you became a ghost. A third tribe may have thought that these two theories were a load of nonsense – when you died, you were gone, and that was that.”

HARARI ON HUMANITY: ‘The deadliest animals on earth’

“. . . There is one thing, though, we are certain our ancestors did, and it’s something we know a lot about: they caused most of the world’s big animals to disappear.”

“. . . the ancient ancestors of whales were land animals that were no bigger than a large dog. Around 50 million years ago, some of these doglike animals started spending part of their time in rivers and lakes, hunting fish and other small creatures. . . . they spent more and more of their time in rivers, rarely venturing onto land. Their feet, which they no longer needed for walking, evolved into flippers. Their tails also changed to better help them with swimming. Eventually, these animals swam out to sea: completely abandoning land, they spent their whole lives deep in the ocean. And their bodies adapted, growing enormous, until they became whales.”

“But this process took millions and millions of years.”

“Soon after Sapiens reached Australia, all these huge animals became extinct—and many small animals did too.”

“Why did they suddenly disappear exactly when the first humans arrived? Let’s be honest and accept the truth: the most plausible explanation is that the Sapiens caused the extinction of all these animals.”

“. . . They didn’t have guns and bombs. . . . But they did have three big advantages: cooperation, the element of surprise, and the ability to control fire.”

“Their first advantage was that they could tell stories that brought many people together. . . . If people in one band developed a new trick to hunt diprotodons, they could quickly teach their trick to all the other bands.”

“. . . The truth is that humans were already the deadliest animals on earth.”

“The thing about bad habits is that it’s so hard to get rid of them. They tend to stay with you wherever you go. . . . Wiping out so many of Australia’s animals was the first big thing they did. The second big thing was to wipe out animals in America.”

“Why were our ancestors so cruel? Why did they completely wipe out the mammoths?”

“The thing is, they probably didn’t mean to do it. They were just hungry, and their children were hungry, and they hunted a few mammoths every year because they needed something to eat. They didn’t know the effect this would have over many, many years. We often do very impactful things without realizing what we’re doing.”

“. . . But over time, the tiny changes accumulate and become very big changes.”

“The problem with Sapiens wasn’t that they were evil; the problem was that they were too good at what they did. When they started hunting mammoths, they became so good at it that no mammoths survived. So they went on to hunt elk. But they were very good at that too, and very soon the elk also started to disappear.”

“So step 1: lots of animals, no Sapiens. Step 2: Sapiens appear. Step 3: lots of Sapiens, no animals.”

THE GUILTY ONES MUST MAKE REPARATIONS

Harari then lets the kids know that although our ancestors didn’t realize the impact of what they were doing, we do. We have no excuse and are responsible for the future of all animals. He challenges these 10- to 14-year-old children to become activists and tells them it doesn’t matter how young they are. They can take care of this.

“Remember, even as a kid, you’re already more powerful than any lion or whale!”

“. . . One whale weighs as much as 5,000 kids. And yet whales can’t protect themselves against humans because humans have learned to tell stories and cooperate in very sophisticated ways, which whales can’t understand.”

“So the corporations hunted more and more whales, and made more and more money. Fifty years ago, blue whales almost disappeared . . . Luckily, some humans noticed what was happening and decided to save the whales. Being humans themselves, they understood what money is and how corporations work, so they knew what to do. They wrote letters to newspapers, they signed petitions to politicians, and they organized demonstrations. They told people not to buy products from corporations that hunted whales, and they asked governments to forbid whaling. Many of the people who did all this were kids.”

“. . . So that’s how we humans became the rulers of planet Earth. And how we came to hold the fate of all other animals in our hands. Even before humans built the first city, invented the wheel, and learned how to write, we had already spread all over the world and killed about half of all large land animals.”

“. . . And you know that if you invent a good story that enough people believe, you can conquer the world.”

******

Has Yuval Noah Harari invented a good enough story?

This book is being heavily marketed. Harari is giving many interviews about Unstoppable Us. Will his gospel message change the worldview of our children? Throughout his book, he talks about made-up good stories that influence people enough to change the world, and yet he declares that his story is the true one. In other words, he wants his readers or listeners to believe his story and act accordingly.

This book is just the first of four volumes. The next volume will be about the Agriculture Revolution. Line upon line; precept upon precept. Each book will build upon the foundation laid in the previous volume. The Gospel of Harari has already convinced at least some of his audience that God is just a made-up story to make people obedient or cooperative. Which of his well-documented ideas will he introduce next? That humans have no soul and no free will?

Will the powers-that-be decide to keep the useless eaters around by giving them a universal income and keeping them entertained in the MetaVerse? Or, will there be mass genocide? Who is going to argue for human rights if people have no souls or freewill? What would it matter?

Often, I hear parents tell me that their children know better. I hope they are right. Maybe they do attend church every time the doors are open, but who is teaching them and what are they learning? Do you know? Are they being taught or entertained? If they are in a government school, sadly, they have already absorbed much of Harari’s message.

Do you know what’s between the covers of the books your children are reading?

50 thoughts on “Noted transhumanist now targeting our children: What’s inside Yuval Noah Harari’s new book for kids?”

  1. Harari believes that people have no souls or free will
because we are “hackable”. He says a system that
knows us better than we know ourselves will make
    decisions for us.

He seems so happy at the inevitability of this. Happy
that it proves humans have no free will. He loses
sight of the fact that other humans – by “hacking” them –
will prevent the exercise of free will in others.

It’s not that humans have no free will. It’s that it can
be taken away by the whip – by enslavement – by
Transhumanist altering such as hacking or whatever.
One’s ability to walk or to see can be taken away by
injury from someone else – but that doesn’t mean
Harari can say “You really don’t have the ability to walk
see. Because it can be altered or taken away”.

Never once does creepy Harari ever address the right
or wrong of people overseeing the “hacking” or other
transformations of other human beings. God will be
found always in the choice between right or wrong –
something Harari avoids like the plague.

The man of sin will be spiritual. Yuval Harari is a technocrat, he is not a spiritual person.

The man of sin will be accompanied by Satanic signs and wonders.

One angel could destroy all of the worlds technology. At present there is a restraint in place but the time is coming when that restraint will be removed and the world will be astonished by the overwhelming demonic energy which will prevail over the world and which will initiate a new demonic age.

The technocrats are like children playing with a Lego set when compared to the power of the spiritual world.

      2. But the technocrats are spiritual. They link the occult to their science. They use magic. Look at the practices of Bill Gates and Elon Musk.
The Third Reich also incorporated the occult with its technology. The twisted cross is deeply spiritual in a Satanic blasphemous way.
When I see the lack of restraint in the world, I wonder about the Restrainer.
Pre Tribulationists say He’s still here in the church because He is the Holy Ghost.

      3. Many people in the world are in league with demons at all levels of society, but as I said there is a restraint in place which limits the activity of the devil and his demons.
The swastika is a spiritual symbol used in Hindu and Buddhism and is not a reference to the cross of Jesus Christ. The Nazis used it as a symbol of Arianism.

It’s interesting that you mention the Third Reich. Hitler’s dream was to build a millennial kingdom on this earth. He even planned to build a dome which would house up to 180,000 people. He believed that the Jews were an obstacle which needed to be removed and we know what that led to. Hitler was effectively a ‘new ager’ who believed in a new millennial age but like the technocrats, he lacked the spiritual power to make it happen.
I agree with you that the Nazis were heavily into the occult but they were restrained from taking over the world.

“Few people have focused on the anti-Christian ideology of Nazi-leader Adolf Hitler. In his book “Main Kampf”, you can clearly read about his Millennium vision.”
“Slaughtering the Jews, and winning the global war, was a part of his plan to establish the Biblical “millennium kingdom”. Hitler sincerely believed he was the chosen “prince of peace”, the “savior of mankind”. ”

But Hitler did not have the spiritual power. The restraint on Hitler prevented him from achieving his dream.
However the man of sin will have spiritual power and wont suffer such restraint and will make war against the church.

I believe that the man of sin will set out to establish a fake ‘kingdom of God’ on earth.
He may even claim to be establishing a millennium kingdom on earth in fulfilment of Revelation 20 but those who know their bible will not fall for this lie because they will know that Revelation 20 makes no mention of Christ setting foot on this earth again.
I believe Christ will reign from heaven until God creates a new heaven and a new earth as promised in the scriptures.

For those who are expecting the fake invisible rapture, the man of sin may even claim that this invisible rapture is in fact a ‘spiritual’ rapture which is referring to the church being caught up into the spiritual realm of ‘enlightenment’ and ‘Christ consciousness’ in the new spiritual age which will come upon the world during his reign.

These are just some possibilities which MIGHT happen on earth during the reign of the man of sin and which Christians need to be wary of.

        You say:
“When I see the lack of restraint in the world, I wonder about the Restrainer.”

        I say:
The current state of affairs is nothing when compared to the inquisition and other atrocities which were committed against God’s people in the past. The Holy Spirit was on earth then and will continue working in the church on this earth both now and during the great tribulation.

The bible does NOT say that the Holy Spirit is the restrainer so a capital “R” is inapropriate and is misleading.

Also, the bible does NOT say that the restrainer will be removed from this earth and the bible does NOT say that the Holy Spirit will be removed from this earth prior to the great tribulation and the bible does NOT say that the church will be removed from earth before the ‘great tribulation’ and the bible does NOT even mention a pretribulation rapture.
However, the church will NOT be on this earth when the wrath of God is unleashed on this earth during the seven trumpets and the seven vials which are mentioned in ‘Revelaton’. The wrath of God will not be unleashed on the earth until after the great tribulation and after the glorious second coming of Christ and the rapture of his church.

“My approach to ‘Revelation’ is that I will embrace those parts of ‘Revelation’ which fit in with the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles but when ‘Revelation’ appears to be contradicting the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles then I will adhere to that which is clearly taught by Christ and his apostles.” Revelation was accepted as cannon on the presumption that it was written by John the apostle the brother of Zebedee. But I’m not convinced of its God-ordained authenticity or that the apostle John was the author. Prove me wrong if you can.

Anthony William opines against God’s Revelation—
RE: “the church will NOT be on this earth when the wrath of God is unleashed on this earth during the seven trumpets and the seven vials which are mentioned in ‘Revelaton’.”

Against Anthony’s false opinion, God’s Word reveals: “During the second woe of the sixth trumpet: “When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them.” Revelation 11:7

And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East. During the sixth bowl of wrath the LORD tells His Bride’s wise virgins, “Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.” Revelation 16:12-15

        Anthony continues to opine—

If the Devil’s spiritual children of darkness within Babel’s ‘indivisible’ UN global village (demonically possessed with Yuval Harari’s antichrist spirit) have begun to build technocracy’s transhuman tower that conquers the Heavens as one people speaking the same language, then nothing they demonically devise (i.e. via artificial intelligence) will be beyond them. In Revelation 11
The two witnesses are NOT the Christian church and they are NOT said to be bringing people to Christ as some false preachers would have us believe.
There are some who claim that the two witnesses are preaching the gospel and bringing people to Christ. They use this argument to support the false notion that people will be saved during the period of wrath. They make believe that this will result in a second group of Christians who will suffer the wrath of God, but the bible says no such thing.
There will be NO Christians on this earth during the period of wrath whilst the trumpets are being blown and whilst the seven vials are being poured out.

Many errors are caused when people confuse the ‘great tribulation; with the ‘day of wrath’
It’s important to understand that they are two separate events which are separated by the rapture of the church. The Christian church is raptured immediately AFTER the ‘great tribulation’ and BEFORE God begins to unleash his wrath on the unbelievers who remain on the earth.

In Revelation chapter 16 John is recording his vision of the vials being poured out.

But in verse 15 JESUS INTERJECTS and says the following:
15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Jesus prompts the reader to be well behaved by mentioning a blessing and also a caution that we ought to be prepared for HIS return which we know will happen immediately after the great tribulation and before Jesus pours out HIS wrath on the remaining unbelievers.

This interjection by Jesus is not part of John’s account of the vials being poured out.
Following the interjection of Jesus we see John resuming his account where he describes the pouring out of the seventh vial.

So, verse 15 cannot be used to say that the Christian church will suffer the wrath of God being described in Revelation 16. Such a notion is contrary to the scriptures. “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1st Thessalonians 5:9)

As for the rest of your comment I cannot respond to your confused language. If you want a conversation then I would suggest that you use plain English like the rest of us.

The religious voice of AuW-unibokk’s anti-Christ spirit says:

RE: “Revelation was accepted as cannon on the presumption that it was written by John the apostle the brother of Zebedee. But I’m not convinced of its God-ordained authenticity or that the apostle John was the author. Prove me wrong, Jesus, IF you can. As I said I won’t add to ’Revelation’ that I have not embraced as authentic. I have rejected all the questionable parts that don’t SEEM to fit with the rest of the scriptures. So I will only embrace those seemingly authentical parts which do not APPEAR to be contradicting the scriptures. I have the Humanistic right to question the truthfulness and authenticity of ‘Revelation’ and to raise carnal-minded concern if my questions cant be answered by Jesus.”

Satan has filled UaW’s unbelieving heart to tempt the Spirit of the LORD by saying: “There will be NO Christians (that God nurtures in the wilderness— Rev. 12:14) on this earth during the period of wrath whilst the trumpets are being blown and whilst the seven vials are being poured out.” The Angel of Light’s apostate minister, amillennialist AuW, has blasphemously challenged the LORD Jesus: Prove me wrong, if You can, for my carnal-minded unbelief in the God-ordained authenticity of Apostle John’s Revelation.

AuW-unibokk, how is it that you lie and test the Lord’s Spirit of Truth? Behold, coming to your door are the feet of those who bury spiritually dead Xians such as Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:9).

Satan’s global Socialistic Security System contains billions of digitally-marked human souls like AuW who are demonically constrained by Democracy’s antichrist spirit. Bewitched by the Social Justice Gospel’s powerful democratic delusion, these socially-secured transhuman organisms compose the flesh and blood corporate body of Humanism’s Marxist UN Beast. Lucifer’s Humanistic Beast eugenically foments anarchy, social confusion, and bloodshed throughout Babel’s UN Global Village. Thus, the 10-horned Beast will utterly destroy Freemasonry’s Judaeo-Xian American super-power. Revelation 17:16; 18:19

      7. For anybody who is reading these comments, here is my understanding with regard to the woman mentioned in Revelation 12.

I believe that Events in Revelation chapters 12 and 13 happen during the ‘great tribulation’ and NOT during the ‘day of wrath.’

I believe that the woman who has given birth to the man child who will rule all nations is in fact Israel and not the Christian church. I believe that the man child is Jesus Christ.

I believe that the crown with twelve stars is the twelve tribes of Israel and that the sun and the moon is Abraham and Sarah. My belief is based on Joseph’s dream in Genesis 37

The Christian church did not give birth to Jesus Christ. In fact it was Christ who gave birth to the the church.

Jesus was born a Jew and a child of Israel in his capacity as the son of man and was thus deemed to be a child of Israel and a son of David.

In Mathew 24 Jesus warns those in Judea to flee into the mountains during the ‘great tribulation.’

15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.”

I believe that this correlates with Revelation 12 which says :

“6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.”

So, I believe that the Jewish Christians will flee into the mountains during the great tribulation. I believe that they are the Jewish remnant who turn to Jesus Christ and that they are the Jewish Christians who Jesus says to flee Judea when the abomination is seen in the holy place (Mat 24. )

Jesus says that a man on a rooftop should not come down to take anything out of the house and that a man in the field should not turn back to get his clothes

So how are these Jewish Christians going to survive during the great tribulation?
I believe that Revelation 12 is referring to these Jewish Christians when it says that they will be fed for a thousand two hundred and threescore days. I believe that it is these Jewish Christians who are the remnant mentioned by the apostle Paul and are who are mentioned in Revelation 12.
It’s worth noting that the dragon continues to be mentioned in Revelation 13.
“4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

I believe that this is because both chapters are referring to the time of tribulation where the dragon persecutes the Christian church both Jew and gentile.
So, there it is. That’s my understanding. I’ve been praying to God for understanding of Revelation, so I’m hoping that my prayers are being answered and that my understanding is correct.

I would welcome some feed back from any truth seekers out there.

      8. Anthony–if, as you say, you want to understand the Book of Revelation more, then I would suggest to first look at it from the 1st century Jewish-Christian point of view–the audience John wrote for–instead of taking the futurist view, which seems to be the default view today. The temptation today is to interpret this ancient book to address modern anxieties about the future, and that leads to a lot of error, if not downright silly, overly sensationalist or pessimistic interpretations.

As you know, this book quotes extensively or makes allusions to the passages and symbols from the Old Testament. The author wrote for the audience of his day, not for the 21st century audience. Look at it from that angle first and things may become clearer. I do not suggest that this book has no application for today or the future, but rather it is more a general and poetic summation of salvation history through the ages of humanity, with its perennial fights with sin and Satan, faithfulness and apostasy, to culminate with Christ’s 2nd Coming. What Christians in our own anti-Christian and nihilistic age are witnessing and enduring is not quite the same atmosphere that 1st century Jewish-Christians did, who witnessed the end of their world with the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem, and who were being persecuted by both Jews and Romans. But the symbolism of the Book should be interpreted as John had written it, by using the Old Testament allusions and symbolisms as these were understood by Jews then. Best to start there and then see what applies to our times for our edification.

Hello Kayjae thanks for your comment.

When I read Revelation I see the messages to the seven churches as being just that. The messages are addressing the behaviour and circumstances of the different churches and what they can expect in the near future.

Buy inn chapter 4:1 there is a change of focus when the voice says “Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”

John is then in the spirit and is shown God’s throne in heaven where the Lamb is shown to be the one worthy to open the seven seals.
These seven seals are shown to be referring to future events as revealed in chapter 6.
I see a strong correlation between these events and the events described by Jesus Christ in Mathew 24, up to and including the heavenly events which accompany the return of Christ.

So, from chapter four onwards I see Revelation addressing a wider audience and I interpret what is said in chapters 6 – 22 to be addressing the end times based on my understanding of Mathew 24 and other eschatological passages in the bible.

In Revelation 10:11 we see John being told to prophesy to a very broad audience.
“11And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

So, whilst the seven churches mentioned in Revelation 2 and 3 may have been Jewish Christians I believe that most of Revelation is addressed to all Christians and especially Christians who are living in the end times.

        Thanks again for your reply.

  5. For someone who despises the Judeo-Christian “fantasy”, he sure tells a whopper. And thousands are listening to him as if he’s a fount of wisdom???

But actually, what he’s saying in his children’s book is the nearly the same evolutionist garbage I heard throughout grade school, high school and college—from the 50s onward. And I know it was taught before my time in public schools. We, after all, live in the age of scientism, Utopianism and nihilism. So he’s presenting nothing new, just in another package. It’s the narrative that fits any thoroughly secularized society. No secularized society in history has ever tolerated a competing traditional narrative—especially one that says God is sovereign and not man.

What is the difference between Harari and Christopher Hitchens or any of the other professional atheists? None. He’s just the latest variety, one who now adds a homosexual angle ( which is part of the eugenics agenda) to the secularist narrative. It’s another step down into the abyss.

So if these people are aggressively marketing their Utopian evolutionist fantasy with such success for many years already, that is because somehow God’s Truth has been getting lost or discarded by most of our culture. Despite all the modern “crusades” of one evangelist after another using all manner of modern media, the real message is not getting out in any convincing way and not being heeded. Some My young relatives and their contemporaries think Christianity is totally irrelevant, yet they went to church in their childhood. What went wrong?

We have the only true and most powerful narrative that was given to man by God. So why is Christian narrative being disregarded as irrelevant and supplanted almost everywhere by lies and fantasies?? What are we doing wrong?

      1. Could it be we are cultural secularists at heart with only a Christian veneer? If so, we need to examine ourselves and get ourselves right with God. Otherwise our evangelization to the world and our theological debates among ourselves ring hollow, as it has for many years already.

      2. True Christianity has never appealed to the masses because it doesn’t appeal to the carnal nature. We must however continue to contend for the true faith as preached by Christ and the apostles and we must through sincere debate help each other to adhere to God’s truth so that we are not led astray in these days of apostasy.

The apostles spent much of their time defending the faith against the lies of Satan and against false Christians who were spreading false doctrines within the church.

We must never tire of defending the truth especially in these times of apostasy and we must not be discouraged by those who have a scant regard for God’s truth and who would seek to undermine those of us who stand for it.

      1. Yes Frank this is true.

We have been spoiled with material goods and comforts to such an extent that many Christians have little concern for God.

That’s why I recommend fasting for those who are able because it humbles us and empties us quite literally and helps us to develop a better disposition towards God.

It’s no small thing to seek fellowship with the God who made the universe. I think too many Christians don’t strive enough for that close bond with Christ. Apathy, just doesn’t wont do.

    3. What we are doing wrong is being bad examples. Children learn what they live. Christians do not behave like Christians should. If there is no exemplary model for children to observe and learn the behaviour from, words on a page or in a story mean nothing. Christians must be excellent role models, walk their talk, make the sacrifice asked of them in scripture, otherwise it’s just hollow words to children.

  7. I believe we can challenge these people by NOT playing into their game. One way is to stop using the English language to “soften” what they are. We have all allowed ourselves to be chastised into using kinder and gentler terms for a lifestyle that is anything but.
This man is NOT Gay he is a SODOMITE and a REPROBATE as all who partake in sex between men. Get back to using the language of God’s word and it’s power to convict. Those who promote this abhorred lifestyle have for years convinced us to use terms less condemning and it has worked. I for one call them what they are. Return to the use of the original English language to what it is meant. GAY has NOTHING to do with man on man sex.
When we do this we diminish their sin and in effect accept their premise. For that has always been the goal in acceptance of the reprobate mind.
    Remember SODOM and Gomorrah!

      Well said Tess.

They hold ‘gay pride’ marches as if their sin is something to be proud of. They are seeking to normalise the abnormal.
The word ‘gay’ began to be used when homosexual protestors used the slogan “good as you” G.A.Y. in their efforts to establish themselves as being equal with ‘straight’ men.

Homosexual comedy was also used to break down barriers. Humour is often used to erode morality. But this apparent comedy is the narrow end of a wedge which has been used to create a public tolerance and to parade homosexuality in the theatre and on our screens.

Now homosexuality has established itself and in many cases homosexuals have been afforded legal protection and rights over and above the rights of normal straight people as in the case of male perverts being allowed to use female toilets and compromising women’s safety and their female integrity.

And MTF athletes being allowed to compete unfairly against girls thus destroying female sport and all of the efforts of girls who seek to enjoy fair competition among their own female sporting community.

And again fancy language is used. Terms such as ‘inclusion’ and concepts such as removing barriers to social cohesion, are being used to change the mind set of the general public in favour of homosexuals.

The definition of Male and female is being twisted by people in the legal and medical and political professions.

The gay community has hijacked the rainbow and have altered it and used it as a banner for the gay agenda.

The current gay rainbow has six colours
Six is the number of man, is that a coincidence?

I see in this flag is a correlation with the ‘new age ‘
Each colour has it’s own meaning.

      Red = Life
      Orange = healing
      Yellow = Sunlight
      Green = Nature
      Blue = Serenity
      Violet = Spirit

The gay rainbow above has six colours but God’s rainbow has seven colours

Isn’t he simply a “big” caveman banding together with other “giants” to drive all the “smaller” cavepeople to extinction or enslavement?

BTW, a lesbian couple would not fare well in a primitive culture. Besides the problem of making those kids (hunting down a natural insemination partner somewhere?) women are the weaker sex. Most “primitive” cultures have women stay home with the kids, make weapons/tools and gather. The men go hunting to bring home most of the food and defend the tribe against enemies.
Simple biology. Women are good at care giving and fine motor tasks. Men are bigger and stronger so they do more gross motor tasks. Fighting and hunting.
Polygamy happens because of this. Usually it’s reserved for the tribal leaders though.
