While these numbers out today are truly shocking, remember that even more dangerous than the quantity of migration into the U.S. is the quality. In most cases these are not your great-grandfather’s immigrants, who came to Ellis Island with a sponsor and were ready to learn English, work and become Americans first, not Italian-Americans, German-Americans or Irish-Americans, just plain Americans. Many today are purely economic migrants who harbor no intentions of assimilating and will seek to “get” whatever they can from the U.S. Treasury in the form of welfare payments, meaning they will be a sure vote for the Democratic Party. Those who do find jobs will send a portion of their checks back home in the form of a remittance. The United Nations, as part of its 2030 Agenda signed onto by Barack Obama and 190 other world leaders, says nations should make it cheap and easy for migrants to send remittances and that wealthy nations must also offer affordable healthcare, housing, transportation and education for all Third World migrants crossing into their borders, legally or illegally.

Newly released Census Bureau data shows that 1.03 million immigrants, legal and illegal, settled in the United States in the first six months of 2016, an astonishing number by all historic comparisons.
The 1 million figure amounts to a typical year’s worth of immigrants that came to the U.S. in six months during the waning months of the Obama administration.
The numbers for the first half of 2016 represent a 13 percent increase over the same period in 2015, a 24 percent increase over 2014, and a 53 percent increase over the first half of 2011.
If previous patterns held up, that means a total of 1.8 million migrants likely entered the U.S. in all of 2016, according to projections by the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies.
The data comes from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey and shows a dramatic rebound in the number of new immigrants settling in the country, since bottoming out in 2011, when new arrivals fell after the Great Recession.
Newly arrived immigrants include new permanent legal residents with government-issued green-cards, long-term term “temporary” visitors such as guest workers and foreign students, along with new asylum seekers and illegal immigrants.
Steven Camarota, the Center’s director of research and co-author of the report, called these dramatic increases “truly extraordinary.”
“Our generous legal immigration system allows in a huge number of immigrants and then permits them to sponsor their relatives creating a multiplier effect,” he said.
Camarota was referring to the controversial policy of “chain migration” that has contributed to nearly 14 million immigrants settling in the U.S. between 2006 to 2016.
“The numbers have profound implications for American schools, taxpayers, workers as well as our culture and national security,” he said. “Yet the whole system is allowed to run largely on autopilot with few asking whether any of this makes sense for our country.”
Based on past patterns, it seems almost certain that when data becomes available for all of 2016 it will show 1.8 million new immigrants arrived in 2016, matching 1999 —the highest level of new immigration in a single year in American history, according to CIS.
The 1.8 million migrants who likely came in 2016 and the 1.6 million who came in 2015 are a continuation of a dramatic rebound in immigration since 2011. In 2014, 1.5 million came, in 2013 1.3 million arrived, in 2012 it was 1.2 million and in 2011 1.1 million new immigrants settled in the country.
Not your great-grandparents’ immigrant
Regions showing the most dramatic increase in new arrivals between 2011 and 2015 are Central America (up 132 percent), South America (up 114 percent), the Caribbean (up 64 percent), and the Middle East and South Asia both up 52 percent. South Asia includes Indian, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Let’s not forget that just two weeks ago the Bangladeshi migrant, a Muslim named Akayed Ullah, who came to the U.S. on a chain migration plan, tried to blow up the Ports Authority bus terminal in New York City. The bomb in his suicide vest malfunctioned and didn’t fully explode, but if it had police said dozens would have been killed and possibly hundreds injured.
Bangladesh and Pakistan are both Muslim-majority nations with active jihadist infestations with a direct pipeline to the United States through chain migration.
Check out my article from last week about the massive uptick in illegal asylum seekers showing up at the U.S. border, most coming from Central America but a surprising number from India, Pakistan and African nations such as Eritrea.
Mexico remains the top sending country, with 190,000 immigrants (legal and illegal) settling in the United States in 2015, and 216,000 likely coming in all of 2016. While the number of new arrivals from Mexico has roughly doubled since 2011, the number coming remains well below the annual level more than decade ago.
The dramatic increase in new immigrants settling in the United States in recent years is primarily driven by the nation’s generous legal immigration system, both long-term temporary visa holders (e.g. guest workers and foreign students) and new permanent residents (green cards).
The decision to admit large numbers of unaccompanied minors at the southern border, along with the adults traveling with them, likely accounts for some of the increase in new illegal immigration, particularly from Central America.
While disturbing in itself, the article below should not be read as an isolated incident. Mainstream media outlets have been bending over backwards for years to cover up Islamic crime, especially in Western cities receiving large numbers of Muslim migrants. Pakistani sex-grooming gangs operate across the UK, raping little English girls with impunity, and the official UK media response has been silence. It was only by a stroke of luck, which I write about in my book ‘Stealth Invasion,’ that the grooming gangs were exposed in one city, Rotherham, and after it could no longer deny the horrific reports of abuse and coverup the British media tried to convince the public that the problem was contained to that one city. In fact, the Pakistanis continue to operate their disgusting grooming gangs in cities across the UK. I have encountered the problem of media bias in favor of Muslims first-hand, at newspapers for which I worked in the past. Part of it is caused by fear — fear of blowback from aggressive Muslim civil rights groups like CAIR but also fear by reporters/editors for their own safety. Some have personally confided in me that they don’t want to lose their heads for pursuing the truth about Islam and that I must be crazy for doing so. We saw the media covering for Muslims who act badly in Sioux Falls, S.D., earlier this year, when a Muslim armed with firearms and 1,000 rounds of ammo terrorized a Christian conference, an incident totally ignored by the local newspaper, which reported the story only AFTER my report hit WND.com. We saw it in Twin Falls, Idaho, in 2016 when a 5-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by three migrant boys from Sudan and Iraq, and we saw it in Minneapolis when an entire neighborhood was terrorized by Somali thugs for three straight days in June 2016. All of these media blackouts and more are documented in “Stealth Invasion,” which you can purchase at Amazon.

Morgan Evenson was walking home in downtown Minneapolis on the evening of Dec. 13 when a black man got out of his car, chased her down, tackled her and repeatedly thrust a 3-4-inch blade into her flailing body.
The 26-year-old computer-store clerk frantically fought back, kicking, scratching and screaming for help.
At some point, neighbors heard her screams and came to her aid. Her attacker – described as a Somali man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-7 with a slight build and wearing grey stone-washed jeans – ran away.
Evenson was left bleeding on the curb with 14 stab wounds on her arms, neck and back. Her kidney was lacerated. She was lucky to survive the attack.
It happened while she was walking home from the Apple Store, where she worked, about eight blocks away from her apartment. That’s when the man attacked her for no apparent reason. Police, who have not made any arrests in the case, are calling it a botched robbery.
Police said the case was unusual for the level of brutality employed just to get a woman’s purse. But some Minnesotans are wondering if there isn’t more to the story, if maybe the young redhead’s assailant didn’t want more than just a purse.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the city’s largest newspaper, has been completely AWOL on the story.
The newspaper’s on-duty news editor, Maria Reeve, did not return my calls Tuesday to inquire about why it went dark on such a brutal, unprovoked attack on a defenseless, unarmed woman walking home from work.
Other media, such as the Southwest Journal, have reported on the crime but left out the assailant’s full description as a Somali migrant.
Only one media outlet, local ABC News affiliate KSTP, included in its on-air coverage the fact that the victim described her assailant as Somali, but the station’s website article failed to mention that fact.
A friend of Evenson’s started a GoFundMe page to raise money for uncovered medical costs.
The page said Evenson was readmitted to the hospital Dec. 19 to monitor a recurring fever and blood pressure.
As of Tuesday afternoon the GoFundMe page had raised more than $15,000 for uncovered medical bills.
No isolated case
The case of Morgan Evenson continues a pattern of Somali crimes being covered up, downplayed, lightly investigated and eventually falling off the radar in Minnesota.
For a list of other notorious coverups by the Minnesota media and law enforcement see the full version of this article at WND.com. The list of victims includes the 40-year-old Australian woman Justine Damond, who was shot by a Somali cop after she called for help, an entire neighborhood on Lake Calhoun that was terrorized by Somali thugs for three straight days, three people who lost their lives in an apartment explosion, and even the Somalis themselves who must endure a “Sharia cop” enforcing Islamic law in their neighborhoods without consequences from the corrupt Minneapolis Police Department.
Debra Anderson, chair of ACT For America’s Minnesota chapter, said she has been trying for four years, without success, to get Minnesota sheriffs to train their departments to better prepare and deal with Sharia-related crime such as FGM, honor violence and terrorism.
She said it was telling that no police response was recorded in the stabbing attack on Morgan Evenson. Her life was saved only because she fought back and her screams were heard by people living and working in the area.
“It was interesting the articles I read didn’t say anything about the police coming. Not a thing. Just sounds like the classic media template used in Europe,” Anderson said. “You had to get all the way through that KSTP [broadcast only] report to find out he’s Somali, and it was never mentioned in the other media outlets at all.”
That’s very disconcerting for someone who has been trying to educate Minnesotans about the pitfalls of kowtowing to the Somali community and its “civil rights” advocates at CAIR.
“It’s unofficial but Minnesota law enforcement agencies are enforcing, or at least tolerating, Shariah law. Most people don’t know it yet but the police are not here to protect the indigenous Minnesotans anymore,” Anderson said. “They have been incrementally changing their search policies and their use of force policies for years. We’re not being protected anymore. They’re protecting the Muslims, so it’s becoming increasingly like Europe. Yes, it’s here now.”

ELBERTON, Ga. – In a remote area populated by ramshackle houses, rusted trailer homes and decrepit barns, a mysterious monument rises from the red Georgia clay, cordoned off from the surrounding cow pasture by a barbed-wire fence.
As seen from State Route 77, the Georgia Guidestones might be dismissed as a roadside oddity, attracting the occasional lost traveler.
There would be no other reason for a tourist to visit Elbert County, Ga., or its main city of Elberton, where entrance signs read: “Welcome to the Granite Capital of the World.” This tiny town 90 miles northeast of Atlanta might not have much, but it does have granite, and this singular fact figures prominently in the story of how it ended up with a monument that manages to both attract and repel, depending on one’s worldview.
At the Georgia Guidestones on a recent Saturday, despite the cold drizzle and cloudy skies, a steady stream of pilgrims found their way to what is known as “America’s Stonehenge.”
Some come to the 19-foot-tall behemoth out of curiosity, having seen one or more of the documentaries about the hidden origins of the Guidestones, such as the 2011 episode of Brad Meltzer’s “Decoded” on The History Channel.
Ellie Crystal’s Crystalinks.com, the Lucky Mojo Esoteric Archive, Welsh Witchcraft and other New Age websites have featured articles on the Guidestones over the years, as have some Christian sites.
An assortment of UFO buffs and New Age hippie-types can be found paying homage to the Guidestones on any given day.
According to the neopagan group Welsh Witchcraft, there have been many rituals performed at the site in Elberton.
“Witches, druids, ceremonial magicians, native American, Christian, and neo-pagan groups have all made use of the site for their own purposes over the last 10 years,” according to an article on the group’s website, tylwythteg.com. “It was no accident that the Guidestones were located near a major geodetic alignment and over a Power Point.”
One young woman on May 17 said she had driven 45 miles to see the monument and was not disappointed. The woman, dressed in black, walked slowly between the stone pillars, as if bathing in some sort of magnetic aura not visible to the uninitiated.
“It feels like I’ve been hugged by God,” she said. “If you look by this stone, it’s like you can see heaven.”
Another young couple came with their 5-month-old baby boy. Unfazed by the light rain, they posed for pictures in front of the monument, then sat on a blanket and had lunch, taking in the moment as they gazed intermittently at the granite edifice surrounded by nothing but empty fields.
But even as some treat the Guidestones as holy ground, others see it as a sinister sign of things to come. In 2008, vandals used paint and polyurethane in an attempt to deliver their own message over the top of the messages inscribed in the Guidestones – “F— the New World Order” the graffiti said.
Others, such as conspiracy researcher and author Mark Dice, have referred to the Guidestones as “The Ten Commandments of the Anti-Christ” and called for their destruction.
“The message of the Georgia Guidestones is absolutely appalling, and the residents in Elberton should be outraged and be fighting to have them removed,” Dice said in a statement posted on his website. “The Elberton Chamber of Commerce acknowledges that Elberton County owns the property, and contrary to other reports, they are not on private land.”
A call to ‘unity’ with a divisive twist
Each of the four slabs of granite is inscribed with a set of 10 rules or “guides” for humankind, in eight modern languages – English, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Swahili, Spanish, Hindi and Chinese. The capstone contains the message “Let these be Guidestones to an Age of Reason,” written in four ancient languages – Babylonian Cuneiform, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Classical Greek and Sanskrit.
The first and most controversial rule etched into the granite stones is to “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.”
This would require the removal of 90 percent of the world’s current population of seven billion people and about 80 percent of the population that was present on the Earth at the time the Guidestones were erected in 1980. This is followed by directive No. 2, to “Guide reproduction wisely, improving fitness and diversity” and No. 3 to “Unite humanity with a living new language.”
No. 6 suggests nations settle disputes in a World Court, while No. 8 urges societies to “balance personal rights with social duties.”
The 10th and final command: “Don’t be a cancer on the Earth. Leave room for nature. Leave room for nature” implies a strong environmental agenda.
Who is responsible for Guidestones?
Part of the appeal of the Guidestones could be the mysterious nature of how they ended up here on a hilltop in Elbert County in 1980. Nobody knows who was behind the placing of the massive carved stones except for a local banker, who was sworn to secrecy. All that is known is a man calling himself “R.C. Christian” – he admitted this was not his real name – walked into the Elberton Granite Finishing Co. in June of 1979 and put in an order for granite monuments that was larger than any the company had ever received.
Lots of articles have since been published, including some that speculate R.C. Christian was the front man for a secret society of Rusicrucians, a Masonic order that traces its roots to 17th century Germany and a man named Christian Rosenkreuz.
R.C. Christian told the granite company he represented “a small group of loyal Americans who believe in God.” He gave specific instructions that the monument should be aligned astronomically to serve as “a clock, a compass and a calendar.” A hole drilled in one slab lines up with the North Star while another port hole in the capstone is positioned so that the sun shines through it at 12 noon each day.
The monument’s messages caused quite a stir in this small farming community when they were unveiled on March 22, 1980, before a gathering of about 300. Reportedly Yoko Ono was among the dignitaries in attendance that day. The widow of John Lennon later praised the inscribed messages as “a stirring call to rational thinking.”
But not everyone sees the stone structure’s messages as rational or even humane.
Some see darkness and a cold-blooded call to forced depopulation under a world government.
In the years before his death in September 2016, Dr. Stan Monteith, a retired orthopedic surgeon and Christian broadcaster with California-based Radio Liberty, took a special interest in the Guidestones’ project.
In an article posted on Radio Liberty’s website, Monteith warned of a dire message hiding in plain view on the granite slabs.
“Limiting the population of the earth to 500 million will require the extermination of nine-tenths of the world’s people. The American Stonehenge’s reference to establishing a world court foreshadows the current move to create an International Criminal Court and a world government. The Guidestones’ emphasis on preserving nature anticipates the environmental movement of the 1990s, and the reference to ‘seeking harmony with the infinite’ reflects the current effort to replace Judeo-Christian beliefs with a new spirituality.”
A tie to the U.N.?
It is hard to look at the 10 guidelines inscribed on the granite and not recognize themes held in common with the United Nations and its well-documented agenda to depopulate the planet and further an agenda of global governance.
To understand the Guidestones, Monteith suggested taking a look at the contents of the Earth Charter drafted under the auspices of Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong from 1994 through 2000.
It was during this time frame that the United Nations launched its push toward “sustainable development,” a concept adopted by the American Planning Association that has since been at least partially implemented by nearly every major city in America.
The Earth Charter followed the U.N. Earth Summit at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in June 1992.
Earth Charter serves as the basis for the U.N. document known as Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. The U.S. Congress passed a bipartisan resolution adopting Agenda 21/Sustainable Development in 1992, committing the United States to implement the doctrine in all agencies of the federal government without signing a U.N. treaty.
“In that (Earth Charter) document you will find an emphasis on the same basic issues: control of reproduction, world governance, the importance of nature and the environment, and a new spirituality,” Monteith writes: “The similarity between the ideas engraved on the Georgia Guidestones and those espoused in the Earth Charter reflect the common origins of both.”
Strong, who contributed to a book “Only One Earth – the Long Road via Rio to Sustainable Development,” is believed by some to have inspired the works of Al Gore on climate change.
Another key figure in the creation of the Earth Charter was Steven Clark Rockefeller, a fourth-generation member of the Rockefeller family and an advisory trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Rockefeller is described as a philanthropist who focuses his financial giving “on education, Planned Parenthood, human rights and environmental causes.”
Planned Parenthood is the world’s largest provider of abortions.
But Gore, Gorbachev, Strong and Rockefeller are not the only wealthy elites pushing for depopulation.
In London’s Sunday Times, an article appeared on May 24, 2009, that described the following meeting.
“Some of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education. The philanthropists who attended a summit convened on the initiative of Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder, discussed joining forces to overcome political and religious obstacles to change.Described as the Good Club by one insider it included David Rockefeller Jr., the patriarch of America’s wealthiest dynasty, Warren Buffett and George Soros, the financiers, Michael Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, and the media moguls Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey.”
Turner, in a 1996 interview with Audubon Magazine, said, “A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95 percent decline from present levels, would be ideal.”
Twelve years later, in a 2008 interview at Philadelphia’s Temple University, Turner said he would settle for a 70 percent reduction, to two billion people living on the planet. “We have too many people. That’s why we have global warming. We need less people using less stuff,” Turner said.
Turner, a father of five children, has also called for a global one-child policy, as reported in a Dec. 5, 2010, article by the Globe and Mail of Toronto.
“Mr. Turner – a long-time advocate of population control – said the environmental stress on the Earth requires radical solutions, suggesting countries should follow China’s lead in instituting a one-child policy to reduce global population over time,” the newspaper reported. “He added that fertility rights could be sold so that poor people could profit from their decision not to reproduce.”
Turner was then quoted as saying, “If we’re going to be here [as a species] 5,000 years from now, we’re not going to do it with seven billion people.”
Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband of the Queen of England, also shares the opinion that human beings are far too ubiquitous on planet Earth.
“In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation,” the prince was quoted saying in an August 1988 article in Deutsche Press Agentur.
Prince Philip, who has fathered four children of his own, has for more than 40 years “been warning that overpopulation is storing up disaster for mankind and that without stringent measures to control it, the planet is doomed,” according to an Aug. 18, 2013, article in the British newspaper, The Sunday Express.
Secret sponsor divulges agenda in pamphlet
Further insights into the agenda of those who financed the Guidestones can be found in the Georgia Guidestones Guidebook, published in 1981 by the Elberton Granite Finishing Co., a copy of which can be found at the Elbert County Public Library.
One chapter of the 50-page pamphlet contains the “purpose” for the monument in the words of the mysterious group that paid for it.
“It is very probable that humanity now possesses the knowledge needed to establish an effective world government. In some way that knowledge must be widely seeded in the consciousness of all mankind. Very soon the hearts of our human family must be touched and warmed so we will welcome a global rule of reason.”
The document refers to the monument as “a cluster of graven stones” whose purpose is “to convey our ideas across time to other human beings… We hope they will merit increasing acceptance and that through their silent persistence they will hasten in a small degree the coming Age of Reason.”
To some Christian leaders, the Guidestones represent a worldly affirmation of end-times deception foretold in the Bible.
David Reagan, founder and senior evangelist at Lamb and Lion Ministries in McKinney, Texas, is one such leader.
“The Bible tells us that Satan disguises himself as ‘an angel of light’ and that his servants disguise themselves as ‘servants of righteousness.’ Isn’t it interesting that the man who financed the Georgia Guidestones called himself ‘R.C. Christian’? Is that a coincidence or a revelation?”
Reagan wrote in an article on his website. “We live in an age of deception. Jesus said that in the end times ‘false christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect’ (Matthew 24:24). We must be spiritually discerning. We must test the spirits.”
The 32-year-old Afghan migrant who plowed his SUV into a sidewalk full of Christmas shoppers in Melbourne, Australia, Thursday, has a lot in common with the more than 1,200 unwanted refugees Australia is sending to the U.S. under what President Trump has called a “dumb deal” negotiated by his predecessor, Barack Obama.
The carnage Thursday was caused by a maneuver that was “deliberate” but not necessarily tied to terrorism, Australian police said in the aftermath of the attack, which injured 18 and left a preschool boy fighting for his life in the hospital with traumatic head injuries.
Not only was the attacker Afghan (and, therefore, likely Muslim), but he has a history of mental health issues, said Australia’s chief of state police.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, is an Australian citizen of Afghan descent who used a technique, car ramming, that has been repeatedly recommended by the Islamic State over the last two years.
What should be disconcerting to every American, and what’s not being reported by the establishment media, is that the U.S. has agreed to take up to 1,250 rejected Muslim asylum-seekers off of Australia’s hands, most of them from Afghanistan and Pakistan along with stateless Rohingya Muslims from Burma and Bangladesh.
The deal was negotiated by the Obama administration, and Trump reluctantly agreed to honor it, calling it “dumb” in a tweet just weeks before taking office.
But here’s the bombshell. The head of Human Rights Watch Australia, Elaine Pearson, recently admitted to the New York Times that the mental health of these American-bound refugees has in many cases deteriorated due to their prolonged incarceration on two remote islands, Manus and Nauru, offshore from Australia.
“If the U.S. isn’t going to accept people from certain countries, they should make that crystal clear now so Australia can make alternative arrangements,” said Pearson, the Australia director for Human Rights Watch. “There’s no time to waste – these refugees have acute mental health problems made worse by years of uncertainty and insecurity on Manus and Nauru.”
Given that Western governments like to write off most Islamic terrorist attacks as merely a case of “mental illness,” it’s astonishing that a human-rights advocate hoping to relocate Australia’s rejected Muslim refugees would admit they are all in a dire state of mental health.
“I hope people are making the connections here,” says refugee watchdog Ann Corcoran of Refugee Resettlement Watch. “We are talking about Muslim refugees from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Burma/Bangladesh with ‘acute mental health problems.’”
The U.S. has already been acquainted with Muslim jihad by vehicle. Uzbek migrant Sayfullo Saipov launched the Halloween attack on New York City, driving his rented Home Depot truck through a crowded bike path, killing six innocent people. He arrived in the U.S. compliments of a diversity visa lottery held annually by the U.S. State Department. And a Somali refugee drove his car into a crowd of fellow students at Ohio State University last year, injuring several.
Now, back to the Australian deal. The first batch of 54 Muslim refugees arrived in the United States from Australia on Sept. 27, according to the Times. They will be followed by another 200 refugees on Jan. 12, according to the State Department. They will continue to arrive throughout fiscal 2018 as Australia empties out its detention centers of illegal boat people.
While nobody knows how many of these refugees will be violent, their profile resembles that of the Melbourne attacker who injured 18 people by ramming his car into pedestrians on a crowded street – Muslim and mentally ill.
‘Free to roam’
Trump famously called Obama’s deal to take unwanted Muslim refugees off the hands of Australia a “dumb deal.”
So with the Australian human rights advocate shouting from the housetops about these refugees’ sorry state of mental health, Corcoran believes it is beyond dumb for the Trump administration to honor the deal.
“This is worse than a dumb deal, it is stunningly stupid and dangerous,” Corcoran says. “And, all to get a political monkey off Australian Prime Minister Turnbull’s back?”
Corcoran says the worst part of the deal is not only that these refugees are coming but once they get to America they will not be monitored by the government in any way. That would be profiling.
“These are mostly single men, they will come here and they will be free to roam, they’re not going into detention here like they were on the two islands off Australia,” Corcoran said.
“Is your town ready for your New Americans?” she wrote in a recent blog. “Muslim men who have mental health problems from years in detention with only other men who will be free to roam your neighborhoods.”
Then comes the question of chain migration.
Once the refugees taken off of Australia’s hands arrive in the U.S., will they be allowed to invite their relatives to join them in the U.S. from back home in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Burma and Bangladesh? It would seem they would, as preventing them from doing so would amount to “discrimination based on religion,” which is always the sticking point that seems to get Trump’s immigration policies snagged in the courts.
“This deal gets dumber every time we hear about it,” Corcoran said.
But one thing is certain. Australia obviously knows something about these refugees that makes them undesirable. They were willing to take several hundred Central Americans holed up in a U.N. refugee camp in exchange for the Muslims being detained on Manus and Nauru islands.
“We’re not taking families we’re only taking single men, which is just insane, it’s just insanity,” Corcoran told WND. “These are invaders, and no town is going to know they are coming unless someone lets the cat out of the bag. The State Department isn’t releasing where they are placing these refugees.
“They’re free then to go where they wish. Nobody tracks them, nobody knows where they are.”
We rarely hear about the many jihadist attacks that get foiled by the FBI, which has said it has more than 900 active ISIS investigations in all 50 states. In short, the Islamic State may be defeated on the Middle Eastern battlefield, but it lives ideologically within your city or state, waiting to strike.
Such was the case in San Francisco, where Friday the FBI announced it had disrupted the plans of an American convert to Islam. In the process, we get a rare glimpse into the dark underworld of the Islamic jihadist. It’s not always the Mideast migrant who carries the mantel of violent jihad passed down through the ages from Mohammed, Abu Bakr, Omar and the long line of warring caliphs looking to establish the Islamic State.
In this case it was a former U.S. Marine marksman, 26-year-old Everitt Aaron Jameson, who had everything to live for as a young man who had served his country with honor. But he goes through a tough time with a messy divorce and converts to Islam, then plots to blow up the busy Pier 39 in San Francisco. As is almost always the case, the jihadist’s family and friends express “shock” that he could be involved in such evil.
His aunt, Sarah Jameson of Merced, told KTVU in an exclusive interview that the entire family was “shocked.”
“We knew he had switched his religion,” she said. “But we didn’t know how much it had affected him. We just had no idea. That’s not the Everett I know.”
When someone finds religion in America — whether it is Christianity, Mormonism, Buddhism or Islam — we in our Western mindset automatically think they will become more peaceful and tolerant, and the more seriously devout they become, the more peace and tolerance we would expect to see shine forth from the convert. But Islam is not like “other religions.” Not even close.
With Islam there’s always that fine line. One day he is “peaceful” and the next he is “radical.” Or so we are told. What happens in between we are almost never told, not in the mainstream media.
This ex-marine may have been depressed but he was not insane. What if he was just following the dictates of his holy book, the Quran, or perhaps he had a favorite imam who got inside his head, heaping guilt upon guilt. Perhaps we will learn in the days ahead how he got “radicalized,” unless it was at his local mosque, in which case that will be hushed up and swept under the rug. Nothing to see there fellow Americans. Move along. We prefer to have our Muslims to get radicalized over the Internet, where they have all matter of access to ISIS propaganda videos brought conveniently into all Islamic homes by YouTube, a property of Google.
Looking at Jameson’s Facebook page, it appears he had a anti-Israel, anti-Zionism bias. It is not uncommon that a Westerner who harbors anti-Semitic hatred finds his way to the most anti-Semitic religion, Islam.
All we know for sure right now is that Mr. Jameson honestly converted, or as his aunt said, “switched” to a new religion. If Islam were a religion of peace, why does it repeatedly inspire men to do things — cowardly, dastardly things — that they didn’t feel inspired to do before they converted?
