Globalist-occupied Canadian government no longer tolerates press questions it doesn’t wish to answer: Reporter assaulted and arrested by thuggish cops doing the bidding of Justin Trudeau

Klaus Schwab told us more than two years ago that agents of his globalist organization, the World Economic Forum, had “infiltrated” the cabinets of multiple Western nations including that of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Schwab bragged that “more than half” of Trudeau’s cabinet was under the control of the WEF. Watch the clip below.

We’ve seen the fruit of Schwab’s accomplishment. Canada’s government has in recent years cracked down on free speech and freedom of the press, adopted draconian gun control laws and generally behaved more like a communist regime than a “Liberal” one. When Canada’s truckers protested the government’s vaccine mandates two years ago, Trudeau had his deputies seize the truckers’ bank accounts, treating them like criminals rather than members of a free society exercizing their right to peacefully protest.

Fast forward to January 8, 2024, and the latest shining example of just how far into authoritarianism the Canadian regime has slipped was on display.

On Monday, Rebel News reporter David Menzies was arrested and detained for hours by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government.

The reason? Menzies had the audacity to ask a question that one of Trudeau’s globalist deputies did not wish to answer.

Menzies asked Deputy Prime Minister for Finance, Chrystia Freeland, who just happens to be one of the WEF infiltrators that Schwab takes such great pride in mentoring, a question about why the Canadian government hasn’t designated the Iranian regime as a terrorist entity. Menzies no sooner got the question out of his mouth when he was accosted by several brutish cops, handcuffed and hauled away into detention. They accused him of “assaulting” a police officer when the video shows no such thing happened and, in fact, it was the police who did the assaulting.

The incident in question took place in Richmond Hill, where Menzies was detained while simply asking accountability questions of Freeland. This is the same Freeland who played a key role in shutting down the Canadian Truckers’ freedom protests.

The disturbing video footage shows Menzies being physically obstructed by a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before being taken away in a police vehicle.

The arrest has sparked outrage, with many questioning the Trudeau administration’s commitment to basic press freedom.

Elon Musk was one of the first to take the Trudeau government to task.

Musk, responding to a post on X, expressed his dismay, stating, “They (Trudeau’s government) won’t make it past the next election.” That’s assuming they still have free and fair elections in Canada, which I personally would not assume to be the case.

Like the regimes in Washington, Paris, London and Berlin, the regime in Ottawa seems to do whatever it wants, no matter how unpopular, with no real electoral repercussions.

In a further comment on the incident, Musk pointed out that it was clear from the footage that the journalist had not assaulted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer.

Musk commented:

“Fine for the officer to body block someone trying to get close to a senior government official, but false to say that he deliberately assaulted an officer.”

Michael Yon, a veteran journalist and war correspondent, stated on his Substack this morning, what we saw go down in Canada on Monday was “Canadian fascism in full view.”

UPDATE: After approximately 24 hours in custody, Menzies was released and the charges dropped, but the message was sent to all Canadian journalists — be careful what questions you ask of your ruling overlords because they have the power to sic their Brownshirts on you and carry you off for a night or two, maybe a week or more, in the gulag.

Remember, this is the same regime that celebrated a Nazi war criminal on the floor of the Canadian Parliament a few months ago. Trudeau only apologized after he was called on the carpet.

This is just the beginning of a global clampdown on free speech

Do not be surprised to see more of this type of brutish treatment of citizen journalists in the formerly free Western nations as we get further into 2024. Most of these Western “democracies” are governed by WEF puppets who do not answer to the people of their countries but to a foreign entity in Switzerland. It’s called the World Economic Forum.

The globalist mouthpieces at the WEF and UN have let it be known that they consider freedom of speech to be an old-fashioned concept. Any media outlet that challenges the globalist narratives about climate, vaccines, perpetual wars, etc. will be charged with distributing “disinformation” and silenced. Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, now a Harvard professor and a prior graduate of Schwab’s WEF Young Global Leaders program, has come out in favor of the United Nations having the power to crack down on spreaders of “disinformation.”

Kemp goes to Davos — Again

And it’s not just heads of state and their cabinets who bow at the feet of the globalist elites in Davos, Switzerland. Several state governors have made pilgrimages to Davos to grovel in front of Schwab and his top henchmen. Most, but not all, are Democrat governors. Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp is so enamored with the globalists that he has signed up to attend the 2024 WEF meeting later this month in Davos, for the second straight year.

Kemp told the Atlanta Journal Constitution he goes to Davos in order to “sell the state” to the globalists who attend the WEF meetings. The truth of the matter is that Kemp, a political whore, has sold OUT the state and its citizens.

Last year, when Kemp returned in January from the WEF meeting in Switzerland, we found out he had signed Georgia up for a federal pilot program to snag travelers’ biometric facial identities at Atlanta’s Hartsfield International Airport. The airport says it’s “voluntary” but I’ve spoken with mulitiple people who’ve told me their faces were scanned without their permission before boarding their flights. This is the crude beginnings of what will eventually be a mandated digial ID for all people, as advocated by the sinister Schwab and his cohorts at the WEF.

Then a couple of months later, in May 2022, Kemp announced a massive $5.5 billion South Korean-owned electric vehicle battery plant would locate in Georgia. Just what America needs, more electric vehicles which are piling up on dealership lots and which almost nobody wants to own. But that’s part of the WEF agenda — to get people out of gas-fueled vehicles and force them into electric ones that will be far more trackable and controllable in the coming digital reset being promoted by the WEF.

I wonder what wonderful WEF-compliant policies Kemp will return from Davos with this year. There’s a good chance it will have something to do with “infrastructure,” as in 5G wireless Smart City infrastructure powered by A.I. to spy on Georgia residents everywhere they go in those electric cars. Kemp, in a recent speech before the state Chamber of Commerce, says he supports the “free market” and yet he has the government’s hands in almost every aspect of Georgia’s economy, subsidizing and incentivizing the industries he likes and punishing those he doesn’t. It’s all about forming so-called public-private partnerships, or PPPs, and picking winners and losers. Which, by the way, is another pet program of the WEF.

    No, that’s NOT the goal. The goal is to force people into NO CAR OR PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION AT ALL. Ridding the world of functional gas cars is just a step along the way.

    Question: it is striking how many of nazi Klau$ $hwab’s puppets are CHILDLESS (former German chancellor Angela Merkel, Dutch pm Mark Rutte, French president Emmanuel Macron…), but Turdeau has children of his own blood.
    It’s easy to comprehend that these CHILDLESS puppets could not care less how our world will be when they are gone, but what is the matter with these ‘men’ and ‘women’ (e.g. Turdeau and Jacinda Ardern) that they help establish a tyrannical dystopia in which also THEIR OWN children will be doomed to live?

  7. The visual assault was on freedom of the press. The implied assault was on freedom of speech, possibly even freedom of thought. How dare one of the proles, even one with media credentials, dare to question one of his overlords? Has he forgotten his place in society?

    Yon’s assessment is correct, yet it highlights an obvious point – many on the left have no problem with fascism or authoritarian isms so long as their side is the one using them. Such an incident will happen here soon enough. To an extent, it has happened with an African reporter in the White House who is frequently ignored or treated like an outsider. How ironic that a black man would be shunned by the administration that perpetually cloaks itself in the robes of diversity and inclusion.

    I’m not sure the country can survive four more years of this regime. I’m also not sure that simply ousting Joe does more than provide temporary relief. The nation is out of control, chugging down the tracks without working brakes and headed toward a wall of debt, crime, unchecked immigration, etc. All empires crash eventually. Who expected this one’s demise to occur before our eyes? I hate to sound apocalyptic but this is nothing like the country I remember, and that country shows little sign of coming back.

    I heard a Pastor say the other day…”for those of us who may have said that we wish we would have been alive in the Bible days…welcome to them”. We are living in the last of days!! So very exciting and heartbreaking at the same time. To see so many people, quite a few of them being people I love, blinded by the deception of the enemy (may I also add the delusion sent by the Lord Himself).

    Leo, I also watched “Leave the World Behind”… verrrrry interesting movie with all kinds of symbolism and hidden messages. The one I laughed at was the shirt one of the kids was wearing. It was a picture of Obama’s face with the word “Obey” under it. Like wow… they are telling us everything. But we think its a movie. Lord help us to discern all things.

  9. Yes it is getting worse, normalcy bias is a thing of the past for sure now.
    I am currently reading a book about persecuted Christians called “Hearts of Fire” by Gracia Burnham about 8 brave women in tyrannical countries. I read these things every time I can get my hands on one of them and I highly recommend doing the same. It brought up another related issue and I felt the urge to share it here.

    A woman was accused of “Disinformation that slanders the Soviet State and social order.” The reason? She was a Christian and engaged in evangelism and also published literature for evangelism and spread news of what was going on with the outside world. She was on trial. She was well versed in Soviet law. She correctly stated that none of these things were of themselves against the law there. But they kept insisting that she was somehow guilty. Another “crime” of hers was attending an unregistered church. I found it interesting that, like in many countries today, churches are required to register with the government; making them essentially State churches. The true church is not a state church and answers to no one but God. But they want to control the churches. They did there too. She went on to explain that the church she was attending applied for a permit but never received it. This was not their fault but it was now being held against her for attending an ‘unregistered’ church. She explains (but not to the judge) that she could bear it no longer in registered churches because they were puppets of the government and remained silent about persecution against Christians in the country. She tried to inspire changes but it was impossible so she left for an unregistered church that met out in the woods. It goes on and she ends up getting a sentence of 3 years in a ‘re-education’ labor camp for her activities that “did not comply with their laws” because she had to defy them as a Christian. She came out of the camp even more emboldened for Christ.

    They may not come out and accuse you of being a Christian because it is considered legal. But they will use double speak to find accusations against you. They will imprison you not for ‘being a Christian’ because that is not legal, but rather for ‘not complying with the state’s laws on gender,’ and that kind of thing, which of course no true Christian can comply with. They will use bureaucracy against you in a way that makes no logical solution so as to avoid punishment if you continue to pursue your Christian activities. They will employ all kinds of tricks and tactics and they will persecute you for being a Christian, only they will not call it that. They will never admit that it is that very thing. In the woman’s case she stated that she was being persecuted for her faith, but the judge kept insisting that she was being punished for disobeying their laws, namely the one about sharing the Christian (or any religious) faith with a minor. She explained that the Bible says we are to share the Gospel with every creature; including minors. That is how we practice our faith. He kept dancing around it. You can’t have it both ways. Either you obey Christ and live as He wills and are persecuted, or you disobey God in order to obey the government laws and avoid persecution. We all must make our choice. She was persecuted for her faith. But they will never call it that. Just know that it is that, and with it comes honor in heaven beyond imagination.

    1. When we were in Romania in 2003, fear was still present, even though the communist dictator, Ceaușescu, had been out of power for 14 years. We met a woman who had guitars hanging on her wall. She explained that they belonged to her son, who was an evangelist. She was told he died in a car wreck, but after Ceaușescu’s removal, she learned that he was killed. Later, our son worked with a young man who was born in Romania. He was 12 when Ceaușescu was removed. His uncle was active in the underground church until he supposedly jumped in front of a train. My son’s co-worker said his grandmother always told him that his uncle had rope marks on his wrists. It was obvious that he also was killed. Sometimes older people would cry as they described what that time had been like.

    1. We need younger generations of Alpha males esp. millenials and younger. Older fit men (and women) can fight if needed. Way to many limp wristed beta males today some with pierced ears w/earrings. Everyone able must defend family and community if invaded by outsiders. We have no other choice: we must remember what happened at the concert in Israel with Hamas invaders. Also we know about tribes of invaders during the dark ages in Europe pillaging and killing (Vikings, Huns, Romans, Saxons, etc) from school or the history channel. Some cities now are being invaded and these blue cities are doing nothing. First, people must be ordered to leave go back and fix their own country.

  12. Trudeau still has a lot of supporters in Ottawa. They love being ruled under an iron boot. Instead of protests, farmers and truckers should just quietly quit. Band together to minimize damages and stay solvent/feed their own families by cutting costs. Conserve produce, to local areas or charge three times the amount elsewhere and make new routes bypass blue cities that support the New Abnormal. No displays. No scary honkings.
    Just agree together to quit servicing those areas where the statists are concentrated. Those people have decided they don’t need help from fellow citizens–at least not members of the working class. They prefer to rely on their government for everything. Let them.
    I’m not the only person with this solution.

    1. Excellent insights Rachel. And I agree this would be much more effective than mass protests have been. The farmers in Germany and the Netherlands have also employed mass protests and we shall see what, if any, concessions they win from the government. In Canada they not only did not win any concessions but the government doubled down and charged the protest organizers with crimes, just like the WEF occupiers in D.C. did to the J-6rs.

    2. Ya Rachel, I wish USA coal, oil, and natural gas producers would do what you describe. There’s no reason for our heating gas prices to TRIPLE in just 3 yr except BIDUNG…Why can’t those companies go rogue? I don’t get it! If their customers can’t pay & get service cut off, how does that help their profits? Are they being paid to go out of business?

      1. This sounds insane but I believe they want to do so. I can imagine the world the technocrats wish to build and figure out the methods they are using. Sadly, I not only am broke and lack social connections but I’m chronically ill, tired, weak and in pain. My family thinks I’m insane when I try to explain. Except for Dad. I think his love for poetry helps him understand. Poets and artists think outside.

    1. We will be under total globalist control when alternative media is blocked/shut down and people speaking out are arrested like the man in video. We are over 95 percent under UN agenda 2030 now since borders mean nothing and anyone comes in unchecked. Also the push for the WHO treaty inactment soon. Nothing will be fixed politicially no matter who wins. Best to not comply and finding likeminded. Some journalists or politicians in foreign countries who seem a threat/expose corruption are taken out to sea and dropped. Our gov. could be doing the same.

      1. Two witnesses from God have to come on the scene at some point, as described in Revelation 11.

        “And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth” (verse 3).

        The chapter goes on to say that they’ll have the power “to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire” (verse 6).

        No one will be able stop them, because “if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies” (verse 5).

        But it’s only when they “finish their testimony,” that “the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them” (verse 7).

        Their bodies will lie in the street in Jerusalem for three and one-half days for everyone to see, then they’ll be resurrected and taken physically into heaven, followed by a massive earthquake (verses 8-13).
