I do not know Bill Muelenberg, but as a fellow writer he expresses everything I feel on this day after the horrific attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. I was planning to write something but then came across his brilliant essay and decided there was nothing I could say or add that would be any more appropriate. Muehlenberg blogs at Culture Watch, where you can find the below article in its entirety.
Two mosques in Christchurch were targeted by gunmen with multiple fatalities. As I write it seems that around 50 people may have been killed and many injured. This is a horrible day for New Zealand and we need to keep all the victims and their families in our prayers.
One 28-year-old man, who has been identified as Brenton Tarrant from NSW, Australia, seems to have videoed the attack. Sadly it is making the rounds on the social media. It is claimed he did this in protest against Islam, Western immigration policies, and related grievances. We will learn much more about him and any others involved in this in due course. It is still early days yet as to who exactly was involved, and why.
I and all people of good will fully and unequivocally condemn this attack. Without question those who are responsible for this should face the full force of the law. There is no place for such violence and there is absolutely no justification for this attack. I take it that New Zealand does not have the death penalty, but if it did, these individuals would fully deserve it.
Those responsible for this were fully given over to evil, and it is appalling that they could get away with such reprehensible acts. If anyone who is a friend or colleague of mine in any way supports this, applauds this, or cheers this on, they are NOT my friends and colleagues. If I find anyone on the social media who is a friend of mine who supports this, they will be swiftly unfriended.
I have never condoned a tit-for-tat response here, nor advocated for violence and murder, and will keep working to share my concerns about some of these things in a peaceful manner. Legitimate concerns about runaway immigration, creeping sharia and the like are fully fair and need to be heard. But resorting to what the jihadists do daily is not the way to proceed.
Indeed, it is at this point that we need to be reminded of some home truths. It is perfectly clear that this sort of violence and terrorism is perpetrated on a daily basis against Christians, Westerners and others by Muslim attackers all around the world.
As one example, a new report by Open Doors notes that 11 Christians are killed every day for their beliefs, mostly by Muslims. It looks at the ten most dangerous nations for Christians, and finds eight of them are Islamic nations.
But because such killings and attacks are so utterly common and routine, there is next to no media coverage of them, nor much outrage about them. Moreover, every time another Islamic jihad attack occurs, especially in the West, everyone seems to bend over backwards and claim this has nothing to do with Islam and we should not even speak about Islam. They say the Muslim religion should not be tarred and feathered because of the actions of these terrorists.
Invariably we are told that these killers were lone wolves, that they had no connection with others, and that they have nothing to do with any ideology or religion. Invariably we are also told that they were mentally ill. Invariably we are told that Western culture in some way was the cause of such attacks.
Yet even in these early stages, we can see how the leftist media will be operating: they will put this attack down to right wing views, to Christianity, to anti-immigration groups, to the conservative alternative media, and so on. It will be open season on anyone and anything even remotely resembling a conservative, a Christian, or those who have expressed legitimate concern about border policies, unchecked multiculturalism, stealth jihad and the like.
Already I have heard journalists at New Zealand press conferences asking, “Have we been paying too much attention to Muslim terrorism?” Incredible. Anywhere from 200 to 600 million people have been murdered in the past 1400 years in the name of Islam.
So now we get an evil fool doing this at some mosques, and we are now just supposed to forget all about the other terrorism, and pretend that Islam is a religion of peace? Yes non-Muslims can and do commit acts of horrible violence and terror, but not even bloodthirsty ideologies like godless communism came close to killing as many people in terms of sheer numbers.
Again, the media, most political leaders and most experts are already speaking of how Muslims are living in fear, and are talking as if they experience such fear every day. Um, they have NOT been the main victims of terrorism acts. They have been the main perpetrators.
And as mentioned the blame game is already happening. As just one example, one social media post said this was directly due to the words and policies of people like Pauline Hanson and Fraser Anning. Already we have talk about stricter gun control. Already we have those wanting to clamp down further on conservative sites, and so on.
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has already referred to the assailant as “an extremist, right-wing, violent terrorist.” Already there are those who are speaking of Christians and conservatives and white supremacists, etc., and how they are part of the blame here. Never mind that it seems that on Brenton Tarrant’s social media pages he spoke of being into paganism and Odin worship, etc.
One person on the social media has reminded us how a tragedy like the 1933 Reichstag Fire in Germany helped prepare the way for the Nazis to consolidate their power even further. The arson attack happened four weeks after Hitler was sworn in as the German Chancellor, and he swiftly used it to clamp down on his ideological foes.
Sadly we have enough examples of this happening with the left whenever something like this happens. They are ever ready to demonize their political opponents and become opportunists to push their agendas. Watch for more of it to happen in this case. And in the meantime, most folks will continue to wonder why we seem to have so many double standards here.
For example, we have just learned through ABC News that one apparent Muslim terrorist who had planned to bomb an entire plane might be given a free pass: “An Australian-Lebanese man in custody on terrorism charges in Lebanon will be freed on bail this week, after the Australian government agreed to hand over crucial documents. Amer Khayat, 41, is accused of plotting to blow up an Etihad plane on a flight from Sydney to Abu Dhabi in July 2017 using two bombs — one hidden in a meat grinder and another hidden in a Barbie doll.”
All such killing and attempted killing must be fully and soundly condemned. But the actual historical record here is all one-way traffic. Most acts of terrorism conducted around the world are Islamic attacks. Since 9/11 alone there have been nearly 35,000 deadly Islamic terror attacks. These hard truths also need to be kept in mind as we mourn with our overseas neighbors.

How many of you have been watching the news in recent weeks and wondering, “is this still America? What is going on?”
How many Americans must be wondering, where did this Ilhan Omar, covered in the Islamic headscarf, come from and how in the world did she end up in Congress? We’re told she’s from Minnesota but she seems obsessed with demonizing Israel and speaks sympathetically of ISIS fighters.
Who is this other new Congresswoman with the foul mouth, Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, who bragged to the world that she would take drastic action against President Trump. She told her young son she would “impeach the Mother F’er?”
Who does this Linda Sarsour, also adorned in the headscarf, think she is, referring to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi as some sort of white supremacist. Pelosi is “a typical white feminist doing the work of powerful white men,” Sarsour posted on Facebook. Did Pelosi deserve such a harsh rebuke for simply considering disciplinary action against the brazen anti-Semite Ilhan Omar?

Almost without notice from the global media, Pope Francis held a historic meeting last week in the United Arab Emirates with Grand Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, head of Egypt’s al-Azhar University, the world’s most authoritative institution on Islamic law.
El-Tayeb, while touted as a “moderate” by some in the West, unapologetically teaches that Muslims who leave Islam for other religions, or no religion at all, are guilty of apostasy and should be killed.
So what is the Pope of Rome, the supposed Vicar of Christ, doing cavorting with such a man?
The two religious leaders released a joint declaration titled On Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together.
Among the many lies, half-truths and deceptions in this document is the following:
“The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings.”
The key words here are “diversity of religions.” The pope would have us to believe that all religions have merit, especially that of Islam.

In my forthcoming book, The Interfaith Deception, I explore the contrasting natures of the two spirits at work in our world today — the spirit of Antichrist and the spirit of Christ.
This may sound like a needless exercise. It should be obvious, right? Actually, it isn’t obvious at all to the masses and we must do a better job of explaining it to them. That’s why my book is needed. I hope to produce an easy-to-read guide for those who discern the times but may need help connecting the dots for their Christian pastors, friends and family members who lack discernment.
Down in little Hallandale Beach, Florida, a local city commissioner is in big trouble because she had the audacity to voice her opinion about the outspoken new Muslim Congresswoman from Michigan, Rashida Tlaib.
Tlaib, as everyone knows by now, became one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress in November, the other being Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. Soon after being sworn into office, Tlaib wasted no time introducing herself to America by publicly calling for the removal from office of President Donald Trump in the most vulgar terms imaginable, sharing at a news conference that she had told her young son, “Don’t worry honey we’re gonna impeach the Mother F—–!”
Tlaib also is known to be rabidly anti-Semitic. A map of the Middle East in her office has a sticky note pasted over the state of Israel that says “Palestine” and she is friends with pro-Sharia activist and Women’s March co-founder Linda Sarsour. Both Sarsour, who has called for U.S. Muslims to wage political “jihad” against the Trump administration, and Tlaib are Palestinian-Americans who actually are more Palestinian than American in their worldview. But Tlaib’s district in Michigan includes the heavily Islamized Dearborn and Detroit, so that’s how she ended up being elected to Congress.
While Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats have granted Tlaib wide space to speak her mind, the Muslim congresswoman’s critics must hold their tongues or lose their jobs.
This double standard was on display this week in Hallandale Beach, Florida, where Commissioner Annabelle Lima-Taub, a Jewish American, lashed out at Tlaib on Facebook. Lima-Taub announced she had signed a petition calling for Tlaib’s impeachment with the following words:
“Proudly signed. A Hamas-loving anti-Semite has NO place in government! She is a danger and [I] would not put it past her to become a martyr and blow up Capitol Hill.”
Two of Lima-Taub’s fellow commissioners immediately came to Tlaib’s defense and condemned their colleague, saying her Facebook comment “embarrassed” the city of Hallandale Beach. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, took it a step further and demanded Lima-Taub not only apologize to Muslims but resign from office.
When President Trump was on the campaign trail, he made illegal immigration, Islamic terrorism and Muslim immigration the focal points of his candidacy.
He also said he wanted to declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, potentially cutting the legs out from under the world’s most powerful, most wealthy network specializing in the spread of Islamic propaganda meant to confuse and deceive gullible Westerners.
Trump is not an expert on the Brotherhood’s history, its tactics or its deceptive, two-pronged strategy of using both terror and peaceful political warfare to wear down Western democracies, which it sees as the enemies of Allah and his “prophet.” He was simply responding to what he saw going on in Western Europe and the massive population shift from the Islamic world into the West, basically under the false pretense of humanitarianism propagated by the United Nations and other globalist surrogates.
Trump rejects the multiculturalist model espoused by the U.N. and the E.U., which has brought a spike in terrorism, crime, rioting and sexual assaults on women. Germany, the UK and many other European nations won’t even allow journalists to accurately report on the source of the crime and rape epidemics, and regular folks who make mention of it on social media can look forward to a knock on the door by their local police.
Trump saw all this in Europe and, understandably, wanted to stop it from coming here. I don’t think he envisioned this much resistance because he did not realize the extent to which this same globalist agenda had already been implemented in the United States. This agenda predates President Obama, although he played a vital role in locking down its remaining loose ends by installing Marxist judges and bureaucrats wherever they were needed across the federal government.
Remember, globalists have no allegiance to the country of their birth. Many of them run giant tech companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter. Google is helping China crack down on its Christians as we speak and Twitter bans Americans for speaking negatively about Islam while allowing ISIS to maintain its accounts. Facebook reads your private messages and sells your data to global corporations for profit.
So let’s take a look at why these elites hate Trump, who came out of nowhere to disrupt their already well-advanced scheme to divide and conquer the last bulwark against global governance — America.
There are growing signs that Europe’s secular leaders are getting concerned about the monster of their own making, that being an emboldened Islam.

One of the themes I’m exploring in my forthcoming book on The Interfaith Deception, is that the interfaith scams being used by Islamists to weaken Christian churches could not have been so successful if not for the previous work by communists and Masons who infiltrated the Church in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Greetings and happy Sunday my friends!
You may have noticed I’ve been churning out few posts over the last couple of months. That’s because I have been busy formulating in my mind, and actually starting to map out a new book that would serve as a powerful follow up to Stealth Invasion. I’ve assigned it a working title of The Interfaith Deception.
The problem as I see it is most of us in the West, when we think of the threat of Islam, still think of terrorism, the sword, and ruthless chopping off of heads.
That’s not where the real threat lies.
My goal is to provide a wake-up call to the Western Church, imploring believers to take Islam more seriously and to step up and challenge this religion on its many false and deceptive teachings. Islam is not “just another religion” as it tries to present itself to gullible Westerners. In our loosey-goosey modern culture people don’t know what to believe and have forgotten where we came from in terms of our spiritual heritage.
Islam thrives in this kind of environment. If we don’t step up our game, if we don’t get through to the pastors, parents and school teachers, I truly believe we are in for some really dark times ahead.
So it’s time to put up or shut up. And we may only have two years, six at the most, to get our message out.
If we fail, look for Islam to fill the spiritual void and make a long march through Europe, the United States and all of the formerly Christian West. I don’t blame Muslims for this. I blame us, the apostate, slothful, lukewarm Church. And our friends in the Muslim world will not need to use terrorism or violence to pull this off. We will hand over to them the keys to the kingdom. We’ve already opened the gates, which I detailed in my first book, Stealth Invasion.
The Trojan Horse is already here, in our cities, states and nation. We must confront the deceptions and clever lies being woven by Islamic leaders if we are going to stop the hordes from bursting out of that fake horse overwhelming our culture. That’s how it is already playing out before our very eyes in many Western European nations, including Germany, the U.K. and France.
The current approach to Islam, in most of our churches, is for Christian leaders to either ignore Islam, the five-thousand pound elephant in the room, or seek to find “common ground” with it. This is done by entering into “dialogues” which focus on areas of agreement [as if there are any], while avoiding the core issues in which Islam promotes truly anti-Christ values and belief systems.
Pastors and leaders, from Pope Francis on down, who engage Islam in this way are sending mixed signals, at best, to the millions of church members, lulling them to sleep and leading them into deception about something much bigger than any of us can really comprehend going forward. If you want to know where we are heading, talk to an Eastern Christian from Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey or Pakistan and ask them what it’s like living in those countries as a follower of Christ.
The main thesis of my forthcoming book is that Islam is not nearly as big of a threat in terms of violence and terrorism, which can kill the body, as it is in terms of spiritual violence that is capable of killing the soul of every spiritually weak Christian.
If not dealt with honestly and effectively on the spiritual plane, we will be left helpless to stop a revived and emboldened Islam from making a long march through Western Civilization, dominating and ruling over us in what will turn out to be a new dark age for future generations of Christians.
Make no mistake, Christians will be driven underground if Islam continues to work unchallenged with its allies on the godless left to first marginalize true Christians and eventually purge them from all positions of influence in our society. That includes teachers, journalists, law enforcement officers and government leaders. The purging has already begun — I have experienced it personally as a journalist — and the pressure will continue to increase on Christians in these key fields if we do not speak up and stand for truth while also engaging in intercessory prayer for our cities, counties, states and nation.
