Two-party system has all but shredded First Amendment, which protects rights of all Americans to speak out against their government without fear of censorship or political retribution
Remember how Donald Trump prattled on about the evils of the Biden administration censoring Americans’ online activity and how he was going to restore free speech?
He said he was going to make the internet free again for conservatives to express their views and opinions without fear of being censored or shadow banned like they were under Biden.
That now seems like a distant memory. While X and Meta have marginally eased their censorship of conservative voices, the administration is taking a note from the Biden playbook and pressuring them to crack down on those who speak out against Trump policies.
Like Biden before him, Trump apparently thinks the First Amendment only applies to those who support him politically.
This week we found out that the Trump administration is working quietly behind the scenes to force online social-media platforms to turn over lists of people who post content critical of Trump.
The news outlet TechCrunch reports that in several cases over recent months, Homeland Security has issued “administrative subpoenas” to seek personally identifiable information about Americans who post on anonymous Instagram accounts.
They are particularly eager to know about folks who share information online about ICE immigration raids in their local neighborhoods. These subpoenas have also been used to demand information about people who have criticized Trump officials or protested any government policy. That would include people voicing disappointment over the administration’s turn on gun control, with Trump, FBI Director Kash Patel, AG Pam Bondi and several of his people voicing support for tighter control over Americans’ right to carry in certain public spaces.
Below is an excerpt from the TechCrunch report:
Unlike judicial subpoenas, which are approved by a judge after seeing enough evidence of a crime to authorize a search or seizure of someone’s things, administrative subpoenas are issued by federal agencies, allowing investigators to seek a wealth of information about individuals from tech and phone companies without a judge’s oversight.
While administrative subpoenas cannot be used to obtain the contents of a person’s emails, online searches, or location data, they can demand information specifically about the user, such as what time a user logs in, from where, using which devices, and revealing the email addresses and other identifiable information about who opened an online account. But because administrative subpoenas are not backed by a judge’s authority or a court’s order, it’s largely up to a company whether to give over any data to the requesting government agency.
Administrative subpoenas are not new; the use of these self-signed demands by Trump officials to seek identifiable information about people who are critical of the president’s policies has raised alarm.
Bloomberg reported last week that Homeland Security sought the identity of an anonymous Instagram account called @montocowatch, which says its goal is to share resources to help protect immigrant rights and due process across Montgomery County in Pennsylvania. This comes amid an ongoing federal immigration crackdown across the United States, which has drawn widespread protests and condemnation. Homeland Security lawyers sent an administrative subpoena to Meta demanding it turn over personal information of the person who runs the account, citing a non-Homeland Security employee who claimed to receive a tip that ICE agents were being stalked.
Of course, there is nothing illegal about recording police, sharing videos, and posting them anonymously. This is all protected under the First Amendment, regardless of one’s political pursuasion.
TechCrunch notes that Homeland Security withdrew its subpoena without providing an explanation, which indicates it was simply trying to intimidate people into silence.
Remember, Trump also helped arrange the deal in which an investment group headed by his friend, technocrat Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, took a controlling stake last year in TikTok. And now we are hearing reports that more censorship is happening on TikTok than under its previous Chinese owners.
Even as Trump is clamping down on free speech online, his administration is buying up warehouses under the guise of “immigration detention centers,” which I reported on in my article yesterday.
Since that article was posted, Trump has stated in an interview with NBC News that he is softening his policy on illegal aliens. He’s only going to go after the violent criminals and he’s only going to send ICE into cities where they are invited by state and local governments. This just adds further fuel to the speculation that the warehouses are not being purchased to house illegals, but rather to incarcerate American citizens who the administration considers to be political enemies.
Trump has made it perfectly clear where he stands when it comes to treatment of his enemies.
At the Charlie Kirk memorial last September, he took the podium and rebuked the Chrisian principle of loving one’s enemies or having mercy on them. No, Trump said he “hates” his enemies and wants to see them crushed.
“That’s where I disagreed with Charlie,” Trump said. “I hate my opponent and I don’t want the best for them. I’m sorry.”
More recently, Trump, while addressing a group of CEOs at the World Economic Forum conference last month in Davos, said “sometimes you need a dictator,” and suggested that he was willing to play that role if necessary.
Just days later he said he does not believe his actions can be restrained by anything outside of his himself, not international law, not domestic law, not the U.S. Constitution. His only constraints are his own “morality” and his “own mind,” he said.
All we need to do is listen to what the man is telling us and we will understand where he wants to take the country.
But instead of taking Trump at his word, his supporters prefer to come up with lame excuses to justify his lawless behavior.
Trump appears to be on a power trip, the likes of which has not been seen in any world leader in decades. I expect he will continue to push the envelope until he pushes one step too far and runs into a brick wall. That wall could be a foreign power or coalition of foreign powers that make an aggressive move against the United States of America. The pressure on Russia and China to make such a move has been growing under Donald Trump and 2026 could be the year they finally throw down the gauntlet.
The next three years will be very interesting and will require much prayer and discernment in order to avoid being deceived.

Leo–Looks like Substack is also coming under censorship pressure from both “ both external censorship attempts and internal policy shifts”
I notice your substack articles (which are bold and spot on, especially the most recent one), are coming under hostile criticism from the “christian” zionist commentors, who are absolutely unwilling to “connect the dots” on political events covered by your reporting. Many legacy media and social media like Tiktok has been bought up by Zionist billionaires (like Larry Ellison) to enforce a certain narrative and allow no others, so Substack may well close down ANY criticism of US/Israel policies and activities under the charge of “anti-semiticism”.
In 2019 Trump has issued executive order 13899, directing federal agencies to use the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism as a tool to enforce civil rights laws, particularly in education.
In 2025 Trump’s executive order 14188 expands on 13899 to prosecute “anti-semitic” protests on campuses.
There is also proposed legislation to address “anti-semiticism” HR 6090 and 3515, however that is defined.
So while there is not yet a law forbidding “anti-semitic” speech, the cumulative effect of executive orders, civil rights law interpretations, and hate crime stats is shutting down criticism of US/Israel alliance and policies at a time when our lopsided relationship with this foreign entity needs to be very seriously questioned, and to find some remedy to free ourselves of their stranglehold on every aspect of our political life.
Big political donor money is fueling the biggest threat to our Constitutional rights to report the truth or voice one’s opinion. We haven’t gotten to the point, as in the UK and other European countries, where we could be jailed for what we say or think. Not yet.

Hello Kkjae.
Thanks to organisations like AIPAC the Zionist influence in American politics looks set to grow. They are involved in drafting or supporting specific legislative language, not to mention their lobbying power and manipulation of the electoral system
“AIPAC’s PAC contributed $17 million to 365 candidates in the 2022 cycle.
It is now the largest pro‑Israel PAC in America, with 96% of its endorsed candidates winning in 2024.“
Democracy is being destroyed by the wealthy Zionists who cause billions and billions of taxpayer dollars to be spent on their Middle East agenda. I’ve read a figure which suggests that 5.8 trillion dollars have been spent over the past two decades.
I notice that Trump sent another aircraft carrier to the Middle East. I reckon that American negotiations with Iran will fail because I don’t believe that Trump wants to be at peace with Iran. Iran has been crippled by sanctions which is often a precursor for regime change.
Some people might think I’m a pessimest but I honestly believe that the Zionists are preparing Israel for the revealing of the antichrist, man of sin. And we know that this event is inevitable.
So, I personally, don’t hope for positive change in American foreign policy with regard to the Zionist agenda.

Hello Unibokk–
I think you’re right about that there will be no change in the US towards Zionist influence. It’s just too entrenched and for too long. They have serious ways to threaten the US, especially through crashing its economy, media domination, blackmail and assassination of government officials. A long history of this.
AIPAC’s influence over our government and our elections is enormous, but they aren’t the only Zionist organization that wields huge influence.–there’s a whole collection of them. Also include the Christian Zionist churches and para-church organizations (like TPUSA) that are also heavily funded by Jewish/Christian Zionist billionaires. Far too many major and minor administration players are Jewish or Christian Zionists, their influence extending over many administrations going back to 1948. Our politics and culture has been thoroughly captured by this criminal cabal of power politics and rotten theology.
The first book written about this inordinate influence by AIPAC was published in 1985 by Illinois GOP Congressman Paul Finley titled “They Dare Speak Out”. It can be found online in archive . org. (He was known for his integrity, advocacy for peace, and his confrontation against the Israel lobby. His co-authorship of the War Powers Act in 1973 was intended to prevent a president from committing the United States to war without the consent of Congress, an act that Trump and other presidents since have continued to ignore.) Unfortunately, AIPAC ran him out of office in 1982 with their well-funded candidate Dick Durbin, who later became senator in 1997, an office he still holds today. The next major book on the subject was by Prof. John Mearsheimer and Steven Walt titled “The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy” published in 2007. This book also caused a lot of controversy resulting in penalties against Prof. Mearsheimer’s career.
Even though Trump has sent a lot of military assets to the region in anticipation of a US attack on Iran, he seems to be reluctant to pull the trigger, despite Netanyahu’s pressure. The Iranians have made it clear what the US stands to lose. Their negotiators are even trying to help Trump to find a way out. But Trump is in a trap. He is stalling, but Netanyahu (or someone in the Israeli government) has recently said that they will attack anyway to force the US into the fray (as they did last June). The Iranians promise to retaliate against Israel massively if attacked. The Zionist billionaire donors would certainly not let Trump back out on a war against Iran. It has been commented upon that their most recent meeting in DC did not go well because perhaps Trump is still dragging his feet. If he dithers anymore, they would take serious retaliation against Trump. I’m sure he’s aware of the threat. Netanyahu didn’t give those golden pagers to Trump last year in an kooky act of kind appreciation—it was a mafia-style threat. When Trump received that “gift”, he displayed a very stone-faced reaction to it. He’s trapped—either willingly or unwillingly–and he does not have the courage to break out of it.
I agree with you that the Antichrist will arise out of modern Israel. It is a false Israel to begin with, a parody of Judaism at best. Especially after Gaza, it has proven itself to be a fundamentally lawless state and it revels in its lawlessness. Unfortunately the US aids and abets their lawlessness in the UN, ignoring all their crimes and preventing world censure. Even Israeli news media report upon the crimes committed by the IDF, but you can’t get Christian Zionists to look at the evidence. Many Orthodox Jews have long been opposed to modern Israel, saying its founding was entirely man-made and that Messiah did not establish it. Christian Zionists should at least consider the Jewish anti-Zionist point of view. Christians should stop their heretical and unquestioning worship of a state founded and ruled by communists, atheists, fascists and terrorists. Seems like they completely forgot what both the Old and New Testament taught—that Chosen-ness does not depend on one’s DNA or possession of real estate, but on obedience to God and faith. Their fear-ridden obsession with their idea of prophesy keeps their eyes off Christ himself. And of all the Gentiles nations, America is deeply entrapped and corrupted by this essentially nihilistic heresy. It’s going to take a miracle to escape it.

I never heard of TPUSA until you mentioned it. So, I read up on it.
It has huge financial backing. The description below reminds me of Hitlers youth.
“Multiple sources highlight TPUSA as a pro‑Trump force, with Trump frequently appearing at their events and praising their mobilization of young conservatives. The Guardian (via the controversy summary) and Britannica both emphasize this alignment”
With regard to the ‘golden pager’, I notice that it’s set to look like a trophy. If I was Trump I would not be placing it on my desk top . Instead I would call in the bomb disposal unit to take it away and destroy it.

TPUSA has been credited for delivering the conservative youth vote for Trump in 2024. Its main donors are Zionists (Christian and Jewish). Its direction has always been pro-Israel and trying to sell that narrative to American youth, packaged together with other less-controversial conservative issues. The reason for its importance goes beyond the Trump election. The youth are being cultivated by Zionism to support Israel in the next 10-30 years as that generation takes leadership roles in society. But after the Gaza atrocities committed and videoed by IDF soldiers on TikTok, the youth weren’t buying the pro-Israel narrative anymore. It took TPUSA co-founder Charlie Kirk by surprise and then he got wised up himself in the last 6 months of his life, and began publicly voicing his opposition to Israeli policies. It got him very hostile, even threatening reactions from his Zionist donors, which he said frightened him very much, but he only re-doubled his opposition, now that he finally saw the true face of TPUSA.
There remains a lot of speculation about who killed Kirk and why, despite the patsy that is being held for that crime. But it seems obvious to many investigating this event that a cover-up immediately took place. The crime scene and its evidence was immediately dismantled and the evidence either destroyed or absconded. Where there is a systematic cover-up, there is a conspiracy, just like with JFK/RFK. Supposedly there was an autopsy, but the results have not been released to the public. And who knows if they are valid anyway under the circumstances. Everyone has their price.
Right now, Kirk’s widow. Erika, is head of TPUSA. She immediately placed that organization back on script supporting the Zionist narrative. According to AI search, her father apparently does some consulting business with the US Defense Department, NASA, and Department of Energy. His mother is CEO of E3TEK Group, which holds contracts with DHS and DOD. Her family history has some high connections in the US and Sweden. By comparison, Kirk’s parents were moderate Republicans and seems more ordinary upper middle class—his father was an architect on Trump Tower. Erika was a model for a Trump ageny. I wonder if Charlie’s and Erika’s marriage was arranged by the powers that be. Elites are very interconnected through many generations.

In a previous comment I said;
“I notice that Trump sent another aircraft carrier to the Middle East. I reckon that American negotiations with Iran will fail because I don’t believe that Trump wants to be at peace with Iran. Iran has been crippled by sanctions which is often a precursor for regime change.”
Here’s what I’ve just read in MSN news ;
“Donald Trump stands on the brink of a major Middle East war as negotiations with Tehran collapse over his nuclear red line. The President’s is on the verge of greenlighting a ‘massive, weeks-long’ military campaign against Iran that would be seen as all out war. Sources tell Axios the campaign would have a broader regime-change objective against the Ayatollah. The US and Israel would also launch the operation in a military joint effort. The potential war would be the most dramatic and consequential military invasion since the Iraq war in 2003 with major implications for Trump’s remaining presidency.“
America made an offer which Iran could not accept and now America will be able to say that they sought a peaceful resolution but it was rejected by Iran and that they are now justified in launching a full military operation against Iran.
So, it looks like this war is ready to kick off.
If the U.S. successfully installs a puppet government in Iran it would greatly reduce the threat to Israel from Iran and any other militant groups which are sponsored by Iran.
The Zionist State is getting stronger and stronger thanks to the support of American politicians and Zionist Christians.

A few days ago a young neighbor (20 years old) saw me in my front yard and asked to talk to me. He had never done that before. He told me that he was thoroughly frightened about what the ICE agents have done, frightened at the prospect of a civil war, and frightened by the coming war in Iran. He was dismayed by the Epstein files which revealed how much of the elite are demonic, “and these people rule us”. He wanted to know how to get through such a time, what to do. He saw the protests in Minneapolis didn’t seem to help. I told him that there is value in protests as in 1989 when a huge wave of protests occurred from China to Eastern Europe and this brought down the Soviet Union and communism in Europe. So there’s some hope in that. As for hard time, I told him what I had heard from people, who as adults, experienced the Great Depression and the war years. They told me they got through that experience by helping each other. So this young neighbor was wanting to find some way to organize a neighborhood to help each other when disaster comes. But he noted that people are so very separated from each other, and wondered how difficult it would be to make people come together.
But he was clearly terrified of what the future may hold. I wonder how many of his generation feel that way.
I wonder how the historians 100-500 years from now will write about our times. How could a superpower like America find itself caught in a spider’s web of criminality, blackmail and threat, and deceit by such a little entity like Israel. This has to be about stakes far more than that tiny, desiccated piece of real estate. I’ve never heard of a similar situation in history, have you?

I’m reminded of the Vatican city “It is the smallest fully sovereign state in the world, both by area and population.”
“Historically, the Vatican wielded enormous political power in Europe — shaping monarchies, treaties, and even wars.”
With regard to the young man you mentioned. It’s sad to see young people so burdened.
“50% of adults aged 18–24 reported symptoms of anxiety or depression in 2023 — the highest of any age group.”
This is an American statistic but countries in Europe are also showing a high rate of anxiety in this age group.
And the explosion of social media is causing anxiety for many young people.

The quest for control over others when you are in a position of great power is always either latent or obvious. It is the sin of pride that corrupts men the most. It takes an effort for men who believe they are in that position of power because they are above others to remove that sin by practicing humility.
Trump is no different than any other person.
