Millions of Americans will celebrate today with fireworks, food and family. Flags will wave, drums roll, trumpets blare. But what are we really celebrating and are we being real with ourselves?
I don’t sense that any of what we’re told about America and its “freedom” is real. I feel like our independence has been stripped away by the lures of convenience and promises of safety and security through mesmerizing technology. The very concept of freedom is no longer seen as an inalienable right, endowed by our Creator…
Instead, we’ve allowed corrupt politicians and bureaucrats to tell us what we can say, do, and soon, even what we can think. We are left with the freedoms the elites at all levels of government, along with their corporate partners, allow us to have. We are overtaxed, overregulated and kept in our place. Even if you work for years to pay off your mortgage and own your home outright, you really just rent it from the local bureaucratic thieves, who take the bulk of that money and spend it on your local government indoctrination centers (commonly known as public schools).
And now the biggest freedom of all, the freedom to remain at peace with those around us, is about to be stripped away, at which time even the facade of freedom will disappear. We will be at war. And this time the war will not just be “over there.” The violence will come to our shores. For more on this, I recommend reading Martin Armstrong’s take on the current geopolitical situation in his July 2, 2024, article titled “Time to Call Putin’s Bluff,” from which I have provided excerpts below. Armstrong offers a brilliant response to the neocons in the Washington Uniparty who are pushing for World War III with Russia. His article is long but full of valuable lessons from history and well worth your time to read.
Your future will be utterly destroyed because of these Neocons who are consumed with personal hatred of Russians. They are pushing American policymakers, arguing that Putin is bluffing and we can, therefore, destroy Russia, and he will never fire a shot. They insist that Putin won’t put his money where his mouth is regarding escalation. Adam Kinzinger, who is the classic Neocon – a Republican congressman from Illinois who jumped ship and ran to CNN so he could preach World War III after losing the election because of his views. He is now CNN’s senior political commentator.
This is the same Adam Kinzinger who insanely claimed that we could “TAKE OUT” Russia in three days! I guess we could wipe out China in 4.5 days and then rule the world so nobody will retaliate. I have NEVER heard such reckless commentary in my entire life. And he is joined by another Neocon, Ben Hodges, a retired United States Army officer who served as commanding general of United States Army Europe.
We have a very dangerous situation brewing, and Neocons are just so consumed by their personal hatred they are threatening civilization. As a hedge fund manager, you NEVER take a position without understanding where you are wrong. These people would NEVER be a trader because they clearly assume they will win, and Russia and China would NEVER retaliate and just fall to their knees and beg for forgiveness and lick their shoes while they are there.
….These Neocons have weaseled their way into positions of power to manipulate the power of the United States for their personal vendettas. They are a threat to world peace and your future. People like Adam Kinzinger and Ben Hodges are very dangerous and will bring the United States to its destiny with the fall from the financial capital of the world.
This only lends credence to those telling Putin he should nuke Kiev and then ask the world, is this where you want to go? They can do as the Americans did to Japan and drop leaflets, giving them a few days to get out of town. If they did what the Americans did and dropped these warnings, then they can argue they have done nothing different from the Americans. However, the argument is that then the people will see Russia is not bluffing, and they will round up these Neocons and lock them up where they belong.
Perhaps that is the only way to prevent a complete all-out nuclear war. The average person has to wake up and demand that their governments back off. Should we all destroy our future and that of our children and grandchildren, all for the Donbas? Since the Ukrainians are denied a right to vote to remove Zelensky, they need to storm his palace to save their own country. Nearly 10 million have fled Ukraine, and Ukrainians are not allowed to decide their own fate, for that comes from Blinken in Washington.
They are pushing this nonsense that Putin is bluffing with his warning of nuclear escalation. NATO’s Secretary General, another sad representative of humanity, Jens Stoltenberg, has also dismissed the likelihood of Western aid to Ukraine leading to Russian retaliation. Personally, to save the world, NATO should be utterly destroyed. The Biden administration is controlled by Blinken and his other conflicted Neocons with lineages back to Ukraine who all profess their families were persecuted by Russians. They have usurped the power of the United States for personal gain, and there is NOBODY in Congress with the courage to save our nation.
Blinken makes the decisions, and the debate shows that Biden is not running the country. Blinken controls the Biden administration, allowing Ukraine to use US weapons to wage war inside Russia now directly —a red line the administration previously refused to cross. If I hire a hitman to tell him to kill someone, I cannot then claim innocence in court because he pulled the trigger.
Historically, let me make this perfectly clear to these people who are bringing the world to destruction. War has ALWAYS escalated when red lines are crossed. The assumption that Putin is bluffing is self-serving by people who just hate Russians. Historically, countries usually DO NOT bluff, and when they make such threats, they are eventually carried out.
Indeed, if Blinkin and his other morally corrupt individuals ever studied history, they would discover multiple historical examples that show how this proposition has led to death, destruction, and the disastrous fall of empires, nations, and city-states. For centuries, Chinese general Sun Tzu has been revered for his wisdom in dealing with wars over the centuries. These Neocons have since Vietnam waged endless wars, under the pretense that they must defeat Russia. As Tzu warned: “There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare.” Nearly 2/3rds of our national debt is because of war – not social benefits. Since we NEVER pay off our debt, we then pay interest forever on every war, and the veterans have to be provided healthcare for life for their service.
Putin is the ONLY wise man or adult in the room. Putin trusts Sun Tzu’s words: “Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.” This arrogance is filling the air, and it is so obvious that the West will lose. Clearly, the arrogance of our Neocons ensures that history will repeat itself, for they do not know their enemy at all. Even Sun Tzu said:
“He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.”
Even if we closely look at World War II, we can see how these Neocons learned nothing. Japan’s logic behind its attack on Pearl Harbor is an important example of miscalculating an adversary’s willingness to escalate. FDR was doing everything to entice Japan to war, just as the US and Europe were doing to Russia. The Japanese did not understand that FDR wanted Japan to attack because Congress kept rejecting a Declaration of War to enter Europe. The Japanese misunderstood that America would not retaliate as our Neocons seem to be suggesting with Russia today that Putin is only bluffing.
When Japan occupied French Indochina in 1941, America retaliated by freezing all Japanese assets in the states, just as they had done to Russia. FDR prevented Japan from purchasing oil. Having lost 94% of its oil supply and unwilling to submit to U.S. demands, Japan planned to take the oil needed by force. However, striking south into British Malaya and the Dutch East Indies would almost certainly provoke an armed U.S. response. To blunt that response, Japan decided to attack the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, hoping that the U.S. would negotiate peace.
The attack at Pearl Harbor was a huge gamble that obviously was wrong for Japan. FDR used Pearl Harbor to justify getting into World War II both in Europe and the Pacific. Instead of reverting to isolationism as Japan miscalculated, the U.S. geared up for total war, and Japan’s fate was sealed. This was FDR’s plan all along. The U.S. had already broken the Japanese code and knew in advance when Pearl Harbor would take place.
At the time, Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto (1884-1943) was the architect of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He wrongly assumed that by attacking Pearl Harbor, the Americans would back off and stop meddling in the Pacific. Ultimately, the Japanese military thought such an attack would shock the United States into a negotiated settlement. Obviously, Yamamoto did not know his enemy. As Sun Tzu said;
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
Kinzinger is clearly making the same mistake as Yamamoto. The Russian people do NOT see Putin as a tyrant – it is America who they see as hating the Russian people. They love to claim Putin arrests opponents, yet the Biden Administration not only charged Trump in multiple cases, they have gone after all his supporters and even charged 1,400 people for January 6th when state Capitols have been stormed over issues like abortion, but nobody charges them.
The Korean War is yet another striking example of this arrogance and misjudgment of an enemy. In 1950, General Douglas MacArthur, the leader of the United Nations Command, pushed American-led forces up the Korean peninsula against the North Korean military. Max Hastings, the military historian, wrote in his book The Korean War how MacArthur insisted on using American forces to achieve a complete victory against the North Koreans. He thought he could drive the troops up the Korean peninsula to the Yalu River, the border with China. However, Chinese officials made it clear to American and UN officials that they should not push their forces past the river. American intelligence reports also showed that PLA military forces were mobilizing in the regions adjacent to the Yalu River. Still, MacArthur insisted that the Chinese would not enter this war. MacArthur’s assessment also proved completely wrong as the Chinese troops began pouring into Korea in October 1950, marking one of the turning points in the Korean War. Yet here we have Adam Kinzinger reassuring the world that they can do as they like and Putin will never respond, for he is just bluffing.
The Temple of Janus
The Roman god Janus was the god of the beginning and ending of conflict, hence war and peace. In ancient Rome, the Temple of Janus stood in the Roman Forum with doors on both ends. Inside was a statue of Janus, who is always represented as the two-faced god. The doors of his temple were open in times of war and closed to mark peace. During a war, the Romans understood that things could change politically during the war. During peace, everything was stable.

I do not believe that people fully appreciate the gravity of this statement. This nation had the good fortune to avoid seeing either world war up close, save for Pearl Harbor. Further conflicts in Korea and Vietnam were so far away as to be almost surreal. Ditto with the war on terror, excepting for 9/11.
People here have no idea what war looks like. They have no clue about genuine privation that occurs when power and water systems are destroyed, when the commerce we take for granted no longer exists, when everything is a target. Sub-mediocrities like Adam Kinzinger can spout their nonsense knowing full well that 1) they will not be the ones walking their idiotic talk and 2) they will suffer no consequences for being catastrophically wrong.
These people have never moved past the Cold War and we meddle where we like era. Yet, they are treated as sages. We have a hollowed out military that is largely (no pun intended) populated by the overweight and obese, and that’s without factoring in the recent recruiting shortfalls. Our insistence on expanding NATO to surround Russia is part of the current problem, despite the massive ignorance within a population that vacillates between “Putin bad” and anyone opposed to intervention being a Russian puppet.

Looking at just our country alone, I can’t help but wonder if the reason the U.S. is in such a mess and ruled over by tyrants is because it has turned its back on God. The Bible was a powerful force in American education during the 17th and 18th centuries but that started declining in the 19th and 20th centuries. Now the schools are mostly birthing chambers and incubators for leftist ideologies like critical race theory and twisted LGBTQ+/transgender sexual perversion.

What’s worse is that not only our schools and government but many of our churches have turned away from the One True God. The Gospel has become muddied through the influences of our secular, materialistic culture and false religious doctrines.
Is it possible that it’s because of this turning away from the Lord that we’ve become prey to diabolical schemes of globalist elites and we’re feeling God’s judgment on America?
Or could it simply be fulfillment of Bible prophecy and nothing we could have done in these “end times” would have changed the direction this country is going in? If we are on God’s timetable for fulfillment, then maybe we can find peace in that, knowing this is all inevitable. At least we know the end of the story, which should bring us hope!

Excellent article, Leo—covers nearly all the bases regarding the coming WWIII in great detail.
Except the elephant in the room—the very much related and even more important war in Israel today and its deleterious effect on American freedoms through Israel’s long-standing interference in our foreign policies by their powerful AIPAC lobby. For instance, the bill that was passed this past May in Congress to make it illegal to criticize the rapacious and murderous policies of Israel, supposedly to combat anti-antisemitism on campuses, is a blatant attack on our freedom of speech. Since when does a foreign government, through their lobby and bribed Congressional sympathizers, have the temerity to tear apart our Constitution to serve their purposes?? Do you think this “Antisemitism Awareness Act” would be enforced only on campuses and not anywhere else eventually?? What if a Congressman or Senator votes against further military aid to Israel? Would that become a prosecutable anti-semitic crime? The way the slippery slope works, it’s very, very likely.
The same people—the neocons—who are planning WWIII with Russia and China are the same ones planning for and being drawn by Israel into conflict with Iran and the Middle East generally. This situation is what will start WWIII more than the Ukraine. We are being slowly drawn into a disaster in the Middle East by supporting in every way–without question, without any accounting–their aggression towards everyone in that region. We have colluded totally with their constant hostilities, aggression, genocidal actions and blatant land grabs, making us complicit in war crimes. Perhaps it’s time to do the 4th of July thing and read George Washington’s Farewell Address that warned against unreasonable hatred of certain nations and questionable and unthinking total support of other nations. Here is the relevant excerpt from that:

You are confusing the ‘great tribulation’ with the period of wrath.
The great tribulation will be the testing of the church during the reign of the man of sin.
This will be followed by Christ’s coming when he will send his angels to rapture his church before unleashing his wrath on the unbelievers who remain on this earth. The trumpet judgements and the bowls of wrath are the wrath of God and do not happen until after Christ’s return and the rapture of his church.
We must be careful to bear a true testimony. A false testimony provides a tool for the devil.

No, I’m not saying that all our actions are futile. Yes, events happen as a result of human actions but you seem to be forgetting about the will of God. Looking at another scenario to try and explain what I mean, it wasn’t Judas’ betrayal of Christ that caused Him to be crucified. His move was one of many others’ actions that were steps leading to that event, but it was God’s will that Jesus become the sacrifice. Pilate gave the order for the crucifixion and the Roman soldiers were the ones who carried out his command, but ultimately it was the sins of all of us who were the cause for Christ making that journey to Gethsemane.
Similarly, the third temple will be built and the beast will enter it. That doesn’t put all the onus for people’s suffering at his hands upon those who built the temple. The temple construction is just one step of many leading up to God’s judgment upon mankind during the tribulation. He is on the throne and He sets things in motion.
Not sure where you get the notion that there is a “period of wrath” that is distinct from “the great tribulation” which is the last three and one half years of the seven-year tribulation. It’s my understand that it’s during the “great tribulation” that the seals, trumpets, and bowls judgments are poured out upon mankind. Simultaneously, the son of perdition will be persecuting people. I base my understanding of the tribulation, antichrist, etc. upon readings from both the books of Daniel and Revelation.

That statement is not realistic. Although Hamas leaders use their people like pawns, there would never be any “collusion” between them and Israeli leaders. Underestimating the enemy because you’re looking at them through the biased lens of their past behaviors or inabilities can get you killed. Israel forgot the lesson they learned the hard way in the Yom Kippur war where they had received warnings from King Hussein of Jordan:

I’ve already answered this. He has always brought them back due to His love for their fathers, and by extension, for them and due to His faithfulness to His own word. Obviously, His promises about the land being theirs forever does not depend upon the obedience of the descendants of Abraham and Sarah. Israel has a destiny and a calling that is separate from the church. Disobedience does not nullify that.

I totally understand the Jewish community looking for a place of safety to live. Not content with that, the Zionists are destroying the Palestinians homes and hospitals etc., and will force the Palestinians to be exported as refugees to some other country/s.
So, Zionism can no longer be said to be just seeking dignity for the Jewish people. They have brought disgrace and international shame upon the Jewish people.

You know, every time I read your comments smearing Israel as the Zionists this and Zionists that, while at the same time you are holding up the Palestinians as people who we should always, without question, pity, I feel like I’m reading some propaganda hit pieces by Hamas leadership and their subordinates in the media.
Since they all refer to Israel as the “Zionist entity” feel free to do the same. It will be consistent with the tone and format you always use and wouldn’t surprise anyone here.

You cannot come to a pre trib rapture without adding a non existent 3rd resurrection to the Bible. 4 Bible witnesses (Daniel, Jesus, Paul & John) tell us that there is only 2 total resurrections. Pre trib is unworkable without inventing a 3rd resurrection & forcing it into the Text in Revelation 4.
You cannot come to a pre trib rapture without taking away Matthew 24, Mark 13 & a huge chunk of Revelation from the church and just pretending that it isn’t written to us. Perhaps this explains why Dan is absent from the “roll call” in Revelation 7. This isn’t all the connections between OT Dan & NT Dan either.
Laish/Leshem was made up of Zidonian immigrants. Zidon was homeland of Jezebel, the feminist spirit that controls American evangelical churchianity. Jezebel engaged in treachery to have a man killed so she could confiscate his vineyard for her husband. Think about how that symbolically applies to the evangelical church culture.

The first beast (cockatrice/little horn/man of sin/king 7) dies and resurrects as “another beast” (fiery flying serpent/false prophet/king 8 who is of the 7). 2 kings in one body with the dragon voice. Unholy trinity in one body. All the fulness of hell bodily trying to counterfeit all the fulness of the Godhead bodily (Jesus). Remember, he wants to be like God (Isaiah 14:14). And king 7 comes in peaceably & with flatteries while king 8 is a genocidal maniac. Two faced like this Janus character. All false religions come from Babel. It’s like I posted earlier; we pay over half our income in taxes, fees and “mandatory” insurances. We can’t speak truth in public or in the paper or online without being cancelled. We never really own our homes due to property tax. They rigged an election in the most brazen way possible and have spent the last almost 4 years gaslighting us for daring to believe our lying eyes.
Christians go to jail for peaceful protests while violent criminals get a slap on the wrist. They almost have it to where they can forcefully inject every citizen with experimental poison for profit.
