Consumed by hubris, U.S. military-industrial complex looks ready to step right into a trap laid by Russia and China that will forever change the world for you and your children/grandchildren

John Helmer, in a brilliant article for the Burning Platform, has put together the best analysis I’ve seen about the military maneuvering going on right now in the Middle East. If this article doesn’t make it real that we are teetering on a razor’s edge of full-blown World War III, then nothing will. You suffer from a hopeless case of normalcy bias and I can’t help you.

Both sides are engaged in a high-stakes game of chess, and one miscalculation by either side at this point leads to full-on war between the world’s two most heavily armed nuclear superpowers and their allies — U.S./U.K./NATO/Canada/Australia vs. China/Russia/Iran/North Korea. Two wildcards in this clashing of worldviews are Turkey and India. Nobody really knows for sure how these two very formidable nations, one Muslim the other Hindu, will act when the missles (conventional and otherwise) start to fly and the bodies start to pile up.

What the article by Helmer tells me is that times have changed and China, thanks to its decades-long, very fruitful economic relationship with America, is no longer a third-rate power, economically or militarily. It’s a force to be reckoned with and the perfect military partner for Russia. One has natural resources galore, the other has manpower and technology. Iran is also technologically advanced.

So the U.S. government created its own enemy, China, and then balks when it sides with Russia. Sorry, but that kind of stupidity can only be explained by the fact that we as a nation have been governed for way too long by a cabal of elitists who are obsessed by greed, self-indulgence and self-importance. All of their little elitist clubs over the years, outfits like the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, World Economic Forum, the Club of Rome, Bilderbergs, etc., have preached and preached about the necessity of bringing China into the 21st century economically and that a prosperous China would lead to a peaceful China willing to accept Western values. That was always a lie, but it was a convenient lie that made the Western elites more wealthy and powerful at the expense of the struggling American middle class, whose well-paying jobs and individual freedoms were disrespected at every turn.

Now we’ve got a big problem on our hands and it looks like the psychopaths in Washington, D.C., are ready to step right into the mess that they created, and they will get a lot of us Americans killed in the process. We know they won’t loose a minute’s sleep over that, but what they will wet their pants in fear over is if their own cushy, privileged lifestyles get taken down with the country as a whole. That’s the one thing, the only thing, that scares them to death.

The article below should drive us all to our knees in a desperate prayer for peace and repentence.

By John Helmer

The sudden change of US warfighting plans in defence of Israel, disclosed on Saturday by General Lloyd Austin, the US Defense Secretary, reveals the trap which Russia, China, and Iran have opened, and the desperate measures the US has taken as it falls in.

Austin announced  that he has “redirected the movement of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group to the Central Command area of responsibility. This carrier strike group is in addition to the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group, which is currently operating in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. It will further increase our force posture and strengthen our capabilities and ability to respond to a range of contingencies.”

“I have also activated the deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery as well as additional Patriot battalions to locations throughout the region to increase force protection for U.S. forces.”

The Eisenhower’s new destination has not been announced. US military media are claiming it will be the Persian Gulf or the Red Sea, or both.

The Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) is officially the Arab and Iranian territories east of the Mediterranean shoreline, focusing on the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, and targeting Iran, Russia, and China.

“In a small change that could have major meaning,” Pentagon officials are telling their press,    “the U.S. is changing its plans for the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group. The change could place the strike group in waters where Chinese warships have been active in recent months. Last week, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that the Eisenhower strike group would head to the eastern Mediterranean instead of Europe as had been planned. Sailing in the eastern Mediterranean would have put the strike group to the west of Israel. But that plan changed after a week in which U.S. forces in Syria and Iraq came under fire from Iran-backed militias, and a U.S. Navy ship in the Red Sea downed missiles launched from Yemen…On Saturday, Austin said in a statement the strike group will now go to the ‘Central Command area of responsibility.’ Central Command covers a vast amount of Middle East territory, including the Persian Gulf and Red Sea.”

The purpose of “these steps,” Austin said, is to “bolster regional deterrence efforts, increase force protection for U.S. forces in the region, and assist in the defense of Israel.” The priority order is a switch. Israel comes last – Iran, Russia and China come first.

For the first time too,  the US command has acknowledged what President Vladimir Putin meant when he said in Beijing last Wednesday, October 18,  that he has deployed  MiG-31s armed with Kinzhal missiles within range of the Eisenhower.

Austin added for Sunday television viewers in the US:    “If any group or any country is looking to widen this conflict and take advantage of this very unfortunate situation that we see, our advice is: don’t. We maintain the right to defend ourselves, and we won’t hesitate to take the appropriate action.”

The US doctrine of self-defence while attacking states like Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Iraq, Iran,  Yemen, and Somalia isn’t new. In September 1969, when Libyan Army Captain Muammar Qaddafi took control of his country, he carefully skirted the US Air Force (USAF) base at Wheelus (Mellaha), which was stocking nuclear weapons at the time; Qaddafi then squeezed the US forces out of Wheelus over twelve months, but the USAF evacuated its nuclear weapons swiftly.

Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon don’t have time; the Israelis even less.

But Austin’s rush to change the sailing orders for the Eisenhower and fly THAADs and Patriots to US bases in the Arab territories reveals he’s short of time too. This is because the entire portfolio of US air defence systems is being defeated. The Russian Kinzhal has defeated the US Patriot batteries around Kiev; the Hamas swarms of drones and rockets defeated Israel’s Iron Dome on October 7. THAAD has been tested in combat once, against a Houthi missile, rocket and drone attack against Abu Dhabi targets in January 2022. “Several were intercepted, a few of them [weren’t].”

The USS Carney’s firing against Houthi missiles and drones in the Red Sea has exposed how vulnerable that southern line of attack against Israel would be if the Houthis try swarming instead of testing their ordnance, as they did against the Carney. Originally, in the Pentagon  version of Friday, October 19,   three Houthi missiles and several drones were intercepted on their way to Israel. A day later, CNN revised the story by reporting “a US official familiar with the situation” to say there had been a “nine-hour duel” and four cruise missiles and fifteen drones came down.

Tongue-biting and stammering are clinical symptoms of the mind which knows what to say but has difficulty getting it out; this usually causes loss of self-esteem.  When General Austin is speaking like this, it signals the mind doesn’t know what to say, and is desperate for self-esteem.

Austin also signalled that the Pentagon is preparing rapid deployment forces for evacuation of air and ground base soldiers and airmen in Jordan, Syria and Iraq if they are swarmed by protesters. “I have placed,” Austin said, “an additional number of forces on prepare-to-deploy orders as part of prudent contingency planning, to increase their readiness and ability to quickly respond as required.” The likelihood that the Pentagon is laying plans for US ground troops to fight to keep the bases is low; secret Congressional briefings are bound to leak if that possibility is entering the US presidential race at this stage.*

Instead, these are Kabul Airport type evacuation missions. The fear in the Biden White House, and the Democratic National Committee, is that US military personnel or other officials may be taken hostage following swarm attacks by the Arabs across the region.

According to a military source near Washington, “Biden got them out of Kabul. [President Jimmy] Carter didn’t get them out of Teheran. If CENTCOM has anything in mind it’s missile defence capability, readiness and base security – and figuring what the hell the Chinese are up to.”

In March 2023, Reuters reported from Beijing on the naval exercise in the Gulf of Oman with vessels from Russia, China and Iran: “The 2023 edition of the ‘Marine Security Belt’ exercises will help ‘deepen practical cooperation among the navies of participating countries’, China’s Defense Ministry said.” Source: https://www.reuters.com/

Russia and China are saying little, doing more.

By redeploying the Eisenhower from the eastern Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf and Red Sea, the US has moved the aircraft carrier out of range of Russian Kinzhals in the Black Sea. However, in the Persian Gulf, the Eisenhower will be within shooting distance of MiG-31s and the Kinzhal in the Caspian Sea, as well as other long-range Russian missiles.

LEFT: According to a US state propaganda agency, Russia has fired long-range ballistic missiles from the Caspian to targets in the Ukraine, including Kiev, between May and October of 2022; flight distance was about 1,800 kilometres. RIGHT: The red line from international waters and airspace of the Caspian to the mid-Persian Gulf is about 1,700 kms.

In the Red Sea, the US fleet will be within range of several types of Iranian ballistic missiles against which there have been no US combat tests to date. Click here to review the Iranian missile armoury, including estimated range, payload and accuracy.  There is ample evidence that the general staffs of Russia, China, and Iran are currently coordinating in the Persian Gulf, where there was a visible surface navy exercise in March, and since then much that is invisible in intelligence-gathering and sharing, targeting, early-warning systems, and the like.

According to this source,    the anti-air and land target capabilities of the DC-10 missile arming the Chinese Navy’s Type-052D destroyer now in the Persian Gulf “poses a number of security challenges for the United States. The DH-10 has a low flight altitude that increases its stealth capabilities against the air defense radars. The DH-10 can also be updated during its flight with new targeting data, allowing it to change targets. The stealth capabilities employed by the DH-10 allow it to confuse or outmaneuver the radars and defenses around ships in the region.”

  1. ? Do we still have Nukes at our Turkey AFB ? Or are we totally out of there,
    as we should be?

Unfortunately the US military has bluffed its way through for several decades
now. Losing every war since WW2, and I guess Korea. They have played the
bully against smaller forces to show how tough they area. Making Billions
of dollars at the expense of lost loved ones. Who knows they probably never
intended to win the “war”. And in the mean time putting the money in their bureaucrats pockets instead of keeping on pace with the latest military
    technology.

Well the gig is up. The cards are on the table and the other stronger world
bullies are calling our bluff. The only way out is to fold and turn tale and
run……but then we all know in an election year that wouldnt look good.
So then what we go out in a blaze of glory?

Think about it after 9-11 we should have put an end to the Whole middle
east problem. But did NOT! Why? I think you know the [oil] rea$onS.
May all those corrupt politicians burn in hell!!

  2. The compilation of the various ‘clubs’ listed highlights one of the two fundamental changes in the relationship between govt and the governed that have occurred in my lifetime: too many of the elected and appointed think we work for them instead of the other way around. When was the last time that someone, anyone, in DC gave you the impression that they had your best interests in mind? And I don’t mean the guns/abortion nexus of issues; I’m talking straight-up quality of life matters.

Even before Helmer’s article, I couldn’t help but laugh at the idea that, for some reason, China would adopt “Western values.” Why? Even a prosperous and peaceful China would still be China. The sheer hubris of thinking that our and only our system is viable sounds more like religion than politics. China does not have to mirror the US in order to be a reliable trading partner, or to co-exist with the West. But I digress.

A recent two-week vacation to the land of my ancestors was eye-opening. Not once did I hear a squabble about pronouns. Not once were roving gangs of thieves moving about. Not once was there talk of colonization or victimhood or racism or oppression. Probably because the country is a single culture that is NOT driven by self-hatred and a need to tear down its past. In the US, we have the luxury of debating first-world concerns but, sadly, without the self-awareness to realize what we’re doing.

    1. Your comment is horrible. Too bad it’s so true. Today’s Navy is not the one my husband served in.

Well I don’t take one day for granted. I just read Matthew 24 and other parts of prophecy, watch the real news, and make checkmarks down my clipboard under each item.

  5. It’s a short life. In the eternity, as that continues to expand this life will be continuously shrinking, except for its impact.

The “right hand or the forehead” are both Hebrew-isms for our intent, the will, our choices in life. Do a word study on “right hand” especially and you see that it is a symbol as is the forehead.

Our choices in this short life have impacts that have eternally growing significance.

The idea that few people now are covidiots doesn’t seem to be certain. Also the idea that all of the pin cushions are suffering debilitating health isn’t realistic. I do believe what the two whistleblowers say that Leo has informed us about. However not nearly enough will change their minds. Btw: to change the mind is equivalent to changing one’s soul.

The poisoning of the body ranges widely in time outcomes, but the poisoning of the soul is surely the real story.

What exactly is coming war-wise isn’t a clear call. Yet the white horse has ridden and the red horse has left the gate unless we are desperately mistaken. My questions have to do with the unknowns. What about the idea that the real story militarily is the DUMBS, the MASERS, the tiny AI drone assassins that can be released by the tens of thousands, weather warfare, the Three Gorges Dam, etc etc?

My conviction remains that understanding things by examining humans, while a valid task, still should be considered for what it is. The extra dimensionals control the biggest players so for example, a bumbler may be a bumbler, but the plans are far more sophisticated than human plans.

  6. Been watching this. The stupidity and hubris of the US government bureaucracies. Congress, military-industrial complex has been astounding. How illustrative of our situation that our government is headed (or rather figure headed) by a senile, corrupt, perverse, evil creature. He abandoned $80 billion of military arms and equipment in Afghanistan. He drained our oil reserves to buy votes. He has deliberately let in only God knows what 5th columnists and terrorist sleeper cells. He has allowed our military to train for homosexuality and transgenderism. He is destroying our economy with inflation. And that’s just Biden, not to mention the others who aided and abetted in our decay. So no way we will win a regional or global conflict—our military is outdated and inadequate in many ways and most of all, so is our strategy. Because if we had a sound strategy, we wouldn’t have this horrible mess to begin with. Our “elites” would be wiser men and not the grifting fools that they are. Barring a miracle, I see no way our “elites” can figure a way out—assuming they want to—they are too stupid, too greedy and careless, and like the blood thirsty Lindsey Graham, don’t have a reverse gear in their thinking at all. They just keep going deeper and deeper into an abyss.

If we went to war, it could quickly go nuclear. Because you never can limit how far warfare will go–once the dogs of war have been unleashed–where it will stop in its destructive path. Just look at WWII from start to finish—it began with blitzkrieg tactics using the latest 1939 technology (while everyone else was still using horses or WWI airplanes) and ended with two atomic explosions that wiped out two cities. What can we expect now 84 years later with all the variety of destructive power we have globally at present? How far will it go?

I don’t expect most of the world will be on our side. I don’t expect a lot of grief around the world when we fall. Many countries are sick of our predatory ways, our bloody proxy wars, our violent regime changes and much else. Many have already turned away from us–they see we are in an advanced state of decay. They will see it as judgment upon us, and rejoice. It makes me sad, because our country started with great hopes and great ideals and great humanity, but something went very awry and most of it happening in my lifetime.

I went about my chores today around town and saw that everyone behaving as normal, as if unaware of the sword of Damocles hanging over everyone’s head. Everyone goes about their business as usual, in the same casual way, fussing over minor things or enjoying themselves, basically heedless. Well, what else can one do? We’re just little people, cannon fodder, collateral damage. This morning I found myself watching an episode of “Leave It to Beaver” (a show I seldom watched back in the day because I thought it unreal) and yet now it made me sad. Such a picture of innocence, prosperity and peace! And I remembered those years and how utterly beautiful they seem now…and wonder why my old age has brought me to such a time as this and what am I to do with it?

Is it too late? Seems like it. Perhaps not for prayer, but how many actually pray these days or know how?? Takes work, a lot of work to pray well and sincerely. To empty oneself of the one’s own nonsense and get real before God. And soon, for this strange, dangerous time is where we are…

    1. I understand people going about their business. As you say, what else are we to do. What I do not understand is the people who go about their business and are oblivious to the world around them. The idea of preparing, just in case – and by that I mean buying an extra can or two of some non-perishable, not building an underground bunker – is completely foreign to them. People’s internal biases lead them to believe that it will all be fine or, worse, “it’s in god’s hands.” No. God gave us free will and the ability to critically think.

  8. Leo, I have studied these “elitists” for over ten years. My heart aches because of all that I know. Don’t forget to add the World Economic Forum and its Nazi Klaus Schwab. (Yes, he IS a real Nazi. He grew up in Nazi Germany, and his father and grandfather made munitions for Hitler.) Nazi Schwab has called for “The Great Reset,” which is the new verbage for “new world order.” It is a combination of communism and ‘capitalism for the elite.’ The rest of us – the “useless eaters” as they call us – are their slaves. The man in the White House supports the “Great Reset” and the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” touted by Schwab. He has been a member for years, BUT so have a number of members of Congress. They all want a one-world government. Bible prophecy tells us that in the end times, there WILL be a one-world government and a one-world religion. The last three Popes have called for both. Biden wrote an article in the Wall Street Journal entitled, “How I Learned to Love the New World Order” (or world government). In 2014 he told the graduates of the US Air Force Academy that they would serve a “new world order.” The TRAITOR in the White House assured the Import-Export Bank that we would have a “new world order.” And even last spring in March, he told the Business Roundtable that there would be a “new world order.” He has called for the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” touted by Nazi Klaus Schwab. I call it the “Fourth Reich.” That’s what the globalist elites want. In addition to Biden the following people in his Administration are members of the WEF: John Kerry, Antony Blinken, Lloyd Austin, Christopher Wray. Congressional members are: Robert Menendez, Kevin McCarthy, Rick Scott, Tom Cotton, Michael McCaul, Dan Crenshaw, Nancy Pelosi, and a number of others. Government officials who are members: Nikki Haley, Brian Kemp, Stacy Abrams, Larry Hogan, Joe Manchin, Gavin Newsom, Kirsten Cinema, and others. Some who are members of the “secret societies” that you have mentioned: Mitch McConnell (who is a Bilderberg), Elaine Chao (CFR), Lindsey Graham (Bilderbergs), Mark Warner, Tim Caine, and a number of others. America is in BIG trouble. Biden wants to turn over control of America over to the United Nations and the World Health Organization. God, please help us.

    1. I have studied globalism for 45 years with some slack times (working, going to speakers meetings, church activities) because things were moving slower.(’70’s 80’s) Younger generations have been dumbed down (with few exceptions) that we have lost several generations of folks with no critical thinking skills that can understand why things like an obvious global police state are being pushed full throttle in last few years especially. (Rutherford Inst.) The hobbies of social media, cell phone activities
and spectator sports consumes most peoples time and large percentage have no idea what UN agenda 2030 is, the WEF, WHO agendas, climate controls, and the trashing of the Constitution, censoring free speech and the fact we are being censored by online platforms (you tube, some socialmedia, and some websites from commenting.) Several people I know and myself were listening to Hagmann on you tube, and that same week all of us incl. the talk show was banned from you tube. Now everyone speaking out has to go to Brighteon, Rumble, etc. The push is for more illegals way more than before. (needtoknow.news) Soon jihadists will start civil unrest and problems in other cities are increasing like home breakins in L. A. and other over run cities incl bordertowns. No solution unless more wake up and act.
