Last week, I was shocked to find that Trump’s “meme coin” had morphed into a $13 billion empire after starting with $0 in September 2024. It’s called World Liberty Financial (WLF), and the crypto token is called USD1. In the interim, the Trump boys have scored a major deal with Pakistan:

“On January 14, 2026, WLF signed a strategic agreement with the Government of Pakistan via SC Financial Technologies to integrate USD1 into Pakistan’s regulated digital payment architecture for cross-border payments. This is the first sovereign-level adoption of USD1 and signals the platform’s ambition to become a global dollar settlement layer for emerging markets — bypassing traditional correspondent banking entirely.”

This is a huge story, perhaps the biggest of the 21st century.

Why did 57 Trump-supported GOP members of Congress vote with Dems to support Biden’s Orwellian mandatory kill switches on all new automobiles?

Rep. Thomas Massie, who Trump is trying to get removed from Congress, put forth an amendment to kill the Biden kill switch legislation that takes effect this year, but Trump and his supporters rallied against Massie’s amendment

President Trump and his cult following of “MAGA” Republicans once again showed their true colors in support of digital surveillance and outright tyranny.

In an underreported story on Thursday, 57 Republican members of Congress joined Democrats in voting down an amendment that would have repealed Joe Biden’s mandatory automobile kill switch.

“Kill switch” you ask? What is that all about?

In a back-page article Fox News casually reports:

“Fifty-seven Republicans voted with the vast majority of Democrats on Thursday to keep a Biden-era mandate enabling government remote control of vehicles, drawing backlash from conservatives like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.”

Government remote control of our vehicles? In America? This should be the biggest screaming headline of the day, and yet most Americans aren’t even aware of it.

Fox further reports:

“The group voted to defeat an amendment proposed by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., that would have rolled back government requirements for the development of a ‘kill switch’ to disable the cars of impaired drivers.”

Massie’s amendment failed by a vote of 164-268.

Here’s Massie pleading, in the video below, with his fellow members of Congress to vote for his amendment, as it turned out to no avail.

Ah, but it’s only for drunk drivers, the propagandists tell us. It’s for our safety!

Let’s break it down and get to the bottom of what’s really going on here.

President Donald Trump gave the keynote speech Wednesday at the World Economic Forum annual conference at Davos, Switzerland, to much fanfare.

He devoted a huge chunk of his hour-and-a-half speech to Greenland and the reasons why America needs to own it.

He boasted about making America the greatest economy in the world, and about how he’s completely solved the problems of high inflation and low affordability that he inherited from the previous administration. We are the envy of the world, he said, when it comes to the economy and our military strength.

Then he pivoted to America’s technological exploits.

I’m not aware of any period in modern history where deception was more intense than what we’re seeing today. The growing number and sophistication of psy ops being run on global populations makes it harder than ever to truly discern what’s going on. The biggest reason for regime change in Venezuela has little to do with drugs, freedom-democracy, the Monroe Doctrine or even oil

I learned long ago that the truth will never win you any popularity contests because the media voices with the biggest amplifiers are typically the ones most invested in running cover for government lies.

If you listen to those voices, many of them on Fox News, the January 3 kidnapping of Venezuela’s socialist dictator was a noble effort by a freedom-loving American president who seeks to set the captives free and bless us with cheap oil and endless prosperity. Many alternative media talkers, such as Alex Jones and others with large audiences, have also latched onto this narrative.

They look at these operations in a vacuum as opposed to in the broad scope of history and the track record of previous regime-change operations. That record is long on blood, violence and pillage and short on freedom and democracy.

Those who depend on these influencers for their “news” tend to be folks who live in the moment and the feel-good emotions sparked by video clips they see being passed around on social media. They see liberated Venezuelans dancing in the streets amid overflowing jubilation.

And they drink the Kool Aid.

It tastes so good they want to share it with the rest of us.
