This has not been a good week for freedom of speech in America.
Let’s start with what went down in Michigan and then we’ll get to the federal level and what the Trump administration is threatening to do that would put a big chill on free speech, no matter if you count yourself as part of the “left” or “right.”
It’s the day after and we are still trying to make sense of it all.
Why was a 31-year-old conservative activist gunned down in broad daylight while doing what he does best, speaking to college students about the evils of this world and giving advice on how to counter it?
Why was he murdered, by who, and what should be the lesson to the rest of us who are like-minded and share his values?
Earlier this week President Trump posted a statement on his Truth Social account that had his base of MAGA supporters flying high.
Trump appeared to be questioning, for the first time, the wisdom of Operation Warp Speed and the efficacy of the Covid mRNA injections that it produced, promoted and distributed en masse. He said the data he received from Pfizer showed wonderful results but that different data was circulating to the public and he demanded answers as to which data was accurate.
His base went wild with enthusiastic cheerleading. But was this enthusiasm justified? Let’s break it down.
A group of Jeffrey Epstein abuse survivors stood on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday and announced a bold new plan to release a list containing the names of all known associates of the billionaire pedophile.
This is the list that the Trump White House doesn’t want to be made public. The president is so adament about “moving on” from this story that he bashed his own followers in July, calling them “stupid” and “weaklings.” The entire Epstein investigation was a “hoax,” perpetrated by Democrats, he said.
But Epstein survivors aren’t backing off. And they showed their moxie on Wednesday at the Capitol.
Minneapolis mayor candidate Omar Fateh recently attended a campaign rally with scores of rabid Somali supporters that, by the looks of it, could have just as easily been held in Mogadishu. Fateh has been referred to by some as the “Mamdani of the Midwest,” a reference to his hard-left views, similar to those of Zohran Mamdani in the New York City mayoral race.
Videos of the political rally on Sunday night showed the dozens of Somali supporters at the Brian Coyle Center of Minneapolis. Fateh also spoke at the event.
Supporters at the event wore t-shirts bearing his name. One supporter spoke at the event, yelling indecipherable rantings in Somali. Watch the brief video clip below.

There has been a lot of news on the global front since I last posted to this site. The news has been coming so hot and heavy that I’ve simply not been able to find time to keep this site active. I’ve been posting instead at my Substack, which I urge you all to check out. He explains how various contradictions in U.S. policy could come back to bite us, and how the vast majority of Americans are completely unprepared for what’s coming. I documented in that book that the endless U.S.-sponsored Middle East wars drive millions of Muslim refugees into the United States and Europe, many of them being the same type of people we fight in the overseas wars, so why would we welcome them into our own country? The neocons say we must fight them “over there” or we will be fighting them “over here,” while ignoring the fact that they are already “over here.” We now have approximately 4.5 million Muslims in America, and most of them are here because they or their parents were sent here with plane tickets paid for by the U.S. government. They have built thousands of mosques and are represented by the radical voices of the Muslim Brotherhood, doing business as CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, etc. I also explained how some of the Middle East’s most radical imams have been welcomed to America under special visa programs for religious clerics or “immigrant religious workers.” This explains why 80 percent of America’s imams are foreign born and from places like Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan. This visa program is still being offered under the Trump State Department, which you can see here. You almost have to wonder if America’s neocon war hawks aren’t furthering a program, knowingly or unknowingly, in which Bibi Netanyahu clears out some of the worst Islamic actors from his region and relocates them to America and Europe!
Brannon also explains how America’s blind support for Netanyahu’s ever-expansive Middle East war plans, which should not be confused with the Jewish people’s biblical right to dwell in the land, something I wholeheartedly support, will divide the MAGA movement and lead to the resounding defeat of the Trump-wing of the Republican Party in the coming midterm elections. In short, the neocons are preparing Donald Trump to walk into a trap that could destroy his presidency, at the same time it destroys America.

The big news today is that Donald Trump has signed a trade deal with the United Kingdom.
Can you believe it? That was Trump’s “big announcement?” A trade deal with America’s ninth largest trading partner? Whoopee. I personally have never bought anything in any store that said “made in the UK” that I can remember.

At a high-level Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, United States Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a bombshell: She said she now has evidence that electronic voting machines have been tampered with to manipulate election outcomes in the United States.
The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reports that Gabbard gave a detailed update on her sweeping investigations into the politicization of intelligence and election interference.
Country music star John Rich told President Donald Trump that the reason his supporters booed him at his rallies during his 2024 bid for the White House was because of his constant bragging about Operation Warp Speed, Trump’s controversial COVID-19 program that led to the deaths and injuries of millions of Americans.
Rich explained to the hosts of the Try That In a Small Town Podcast that he was at a dinner with Trump and other high-ranking Republican politicians several years ago. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, as well as then-Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker were also present, sitting around a table.
Knowing that Rich is a seasoned performer, Trump turned to Rich and asked for advice on how to deal with his tough crowds.
“[Trump] goes, ‘why are people booing me at my rallies when I bring up the vaccine?’” Rich said.
Before sharing his answer, Rich explained to the podcast hosts that he knew Trump was extremely proud of Operation Warp Speed so he had to collect himself before speaking directly to him.
