This was a big week for the globalists. They feel it’s their time, go time, to launch the most difficult phase of the Great Reset so they can get on with what they call the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution, as explained by World Economic Forum guru Klaus Schwab, will lead to a “fusion” of every human being’s physical, biological and digital identities. It’s basically the dawning of a new era based on transhumanism and technocracy, something akin to what was laid out in the novel Brave New World.
But they can’t get there until they reset everything. Kill off the old. Bring on the new.
Resetting the world isn’t something you can pull off by just pushing a button. It requires a series of well-designed global crises, as Schwab and his chief advisor Yuval Noah Harari have said on more than one occasion.
So the globalists have been meeting this week in Geneva at the World Health Assembly and they have been meeting in Davos at the World Economic Forum summit. The two cities, Geneva and Davos, are both located in Switzerland, about three hours apart by car. Between these two meetings, the globalist predator class will be getting their instructions on what to do and what to expect over the next 12 months. I am calling this 12-month window the opening salvo in the kill phase of the Great Reset.
Schwab opened the meeting at Davos by saying “the future is not just happening; the future is built by us, by a powerful community, as you here in this room.”
Schwab said “we must prepare for an angrier world,” which I take as a bad sign that the globalists are getting anxious, feeling that if they don’t take drastic action soon all their plans to erect an end-times global government could be wasted.
Schwab added that, “We have the means to improve the state of the world, but two conditions are necessary:
“The first one is that we act all as stakeholders of larger communities.
“And second is that we collaborate.”
My question for Klaus is this: Collaborate on what?
And what does he mean, exactly, by “improve” the state of the world?
Improvements for whom? I believe he’s referring to improved conditions for the 1 percent who run the big banks and corporations and their minions, which might jack it up to 3 or 4 percent. For the rest of us, they have an agenda of misery.
Time for a culling
If we look at the WEF/UN agenda, which is supported wholeheartedly by the governments of the U.S., U.K., E.U., Canada and Australia, it’s all pointing to a mass culling of the human population. They have triggered the kill phase.
As they see it, we can surmise from their rhetoric, the culling is needed in order to save the planet and its resources for they, the globalist elites represented this week at Davos and Geneva.
They have told us their plans ahead of time. They always do. We will own nothing, we will have no privacy and we will learn to like being totally dependent on the government and its corporate partners for our very survival.
David Beasley, executive director of the United Nations World Food Program, spoke at Davos and had cheery news. Watch his brief comments in the video below.
In his formal address to the WEF, Beasley explained that the global food situation was already bad before the Ukraine war, but that the situation has since escalated to become what he called the worst humanitarian crisis since World War II.
Then there’s the creepy cover of the Economist Magazine. This is the Rothschild owned publication that caters to the elite globalists. It pictured a field of wheat, with the kernels of wheat represented as skulls, with the title being “The Coming Food Catastrophe.”
Conservative Playlist reports that the Rockefeller Foundation, another globalist club with ties to Bill Gates, Schwab and the WEF, recently warned that a global food crisis of biblical proportions is scheduled to arrive at our doors within five to six months.
Rockefeller Foundation president Rajiv Shah described what is soon to unfold as a “massive, immediate food crisis” that will strike the entire world, leaving no country untouched.
This is not communism because, if it were, the big corporations would not all be in on it. This is technocracy, using the power of data collection and advanced surveillance technology, which they leverage at every point of contact – in the medical field, media and social media, science, education, at the retail level, the military and biosecurity levels.
But how, people ask, will they make it so we will own nothing and just rent everything from the billionaires and multi-millionaires?
I tell these people that if they were awake they would see the answer to their question playing out in real time.
By creating more and more money and deliberately driving down the value of the dollar, the Federal Reserve and the banking system force you to pay more for less. To survive, whether you are in the lower middle class, the middle-middle class, or the upper middle class, you will pay more for the same gallon of gas, the same groceries, the same clothing as you had before. You can get by for a while by just buying less and cutting out waste, but after a while you will be looking to downsize your cars, your houses, your food intake, everything.
This is why Mayer Rothschild said “I care not who makes a country’s laws as long as I control its money.”
The plan is to price you out of everything to the point where you are renting a small apartment in the city next to a rail line, replacing your SUV with a mini electric car (if you can afford that) or even a bicycle. Look at China. That’s the future they have planned for us.
The more pain that is caused, the closer the elites get to being able to implement their Great Reset, with digital QR codes attached to every human being containing all your health records on a cellphone app and connecting that app also to your bank account and your ability to log onto the internet. That’s the goal.
Now here’s the catch.
The billionaire globalist elites know their plan is unpopular.
They know that at least half the population in wealthy countries will never go along with this plan willingly. They will have to be coerced in a time of horrific crisis like war or a wave of “public health emergencies,” and the extreme deprivation that such crises cause.
Because the vast majority of Americans suffer from extreme normalcy bias, they can’t see what’s coming. They will be caught completely off guard. The sporadic shortages they see in the grocery stores now, these folks believe that’s just a temporary glitch that will soon iron itself out. Nothing to worry about.
They don’t see that war and famine are right around the corner. So when it arrives, they will be ruled by fear and confusion. Anxiety levels will be off the charts.
Most will submit to the beast system that’s being erected on the backs of these pre-arranged crises.
Because of the rule of thirds, somewhere between 25 and 30 percent will never submit to this kind of a system. We saw it last year with the vaccines, when approximately 70 percent of Americans capitulated to the pressure of “get your shot” but 30 percent stood strong and resisted.
Now, Stephane Bancel, the CEO of Moderna, admits nobody wants his vaccines and he’s having to throw them away, 30 million doses to be exact.
Take a look at his comments in the video below. He’s very sad.
The bottom line for the elites is this: The population is just too big and unmanageable for the type of resource-based, total control society required by their dystopian technocracy, and if there’s anything a technocracy simply cannot tolerate it’s a sizable population of people who don’t know their place. They still believe in free speech, the First and the Second amendments, that people are born male or female, old-fashioned stuff like that. They must be eliminated.
The kill phase: How will they cull the population?
For that reason, we have entered the kill phase of the Great Reset.
Everything they are engaging in right now, these so-called stakeholders, is causing people to die prematurely in certain key countries where we have large middle-class populations who are accustomed to living relatively free lives. They’re not a good fit for the total surveillance society where your movement is monitored in real time, your spending habits are monitored and assessed, your eating habits are monitored (meat will be a “rare treat” says the WEF). All of your life activity will be monitored in order to calculate and track your carbon footprint and assess your overall social credit score.
Let’s take a look at the points of friction in society right now that are being fomented by the globalist elites who run everything, from the monetary and banking systems to the major corporations to the media, Big Pharma and Big Tech.
- Manufactured supply-chain breakdowns along with food, fertilizer and fuel shortages, which will all lead to famine. Check out the below video of a train derailment last Sunday in Alberta, Canada — the train just happened to be carrying 43 containers of potash for desperately needed nitrogen fertilizer.
- Promoting killer vaccines and booster shots with the return of vaccine mandates likely by this fall.
- Fomenting civil unrest, mass shootings and the resulting gaslighting of American gun owners with incendiary rhetoric coming from the White House. The media will run backup for the Biden administration as it makes a play for some kind of national gun control measures. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC are just two of the many media mockingbirds who deliver propaganda on behalf of U.S. intelligence agencies. Since the mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas, Mika and Joe have been hammering home the message that now is the time for the government to declare certain rifles illegal. This type of rhetoric, threatening to disarm law-abiding Americans at a time when crime is running out of control, will only make more people want to buy guns for protection.
- Escalating their proxy war against Russia into a regional and eventually a world war. China is going to make a play for Taiwan, and Iran may go after Israel. Russia and China are simply better prepared for this war than the U.S. and Europe.
- Stoking the globalist obsession with LGBTQ transgender mania, to the point where it’s in your face everywhere, but more importantly in your child’s face, at school, at summer camp, in the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, even at many churches. This further weakens the pool of young people by confusing them about their own gender and, along with the gay and lesbian push, results in fewer babies being born.
The Deagel population forecast of 2014
All of the above policies are driving at one thing, mass depopulation.
I revert back to the analysis done by Deagel Corp. several years ago.
Deagel is a military contractor that in 2014 published a forecast of massive population reductions out to the year 2025, when America would be down to just 99 million people from over 330 million in 2014. Western European nations, especially the U.K. and Germany, were forecast to see similarly drastic decreases in population.
Based on the Deagel calculations, assuming they turn out to be even close to accurate, the most unsafe places to live over the next three years will be the United States and the U.K., followed by Germany and then the rest of the E.U. nations. This population forecast was so controversial, showing population reductions of 80 percent in the United States and between 50 and 80 percent for almost every Western European country, that the study mysteriously disappeared from Deagel’s website post-Covid in March 2021.
Until the impact of the Covid “pandemic” and resulting mass vaccination campaign, many researchers were scratching their heads as they reviewed the Deagel spreadsheets. But now it’s beginning to make sense.
Researcher Craig Paardekooper recently released his report on predictions of global depopulation based on an updating of the Deagel numbers. You can see his updated predictions for every country. He shows the U.S. losing 70.2 percent of its population and the U.K. losing 78.5 percent by 2025.
Deagel’s predictions seemed so far-fetched in 2014 that some folks accused Deagel of engaging in a psy op. But maybe Deagel had good sources to back up its analysis. After all, the Rockefeller Foundation had published its “Lockstep” analysis in 2010, all but guaranteeing that major pandemics would wipe out tens of millions of people, and Bill Gates, the world’s richest man, was well into his vaccine phase by 2014 as well, having shifted his focus a few years earlier away from computers and into the more profitable vaccines.
Of course we know that the first ‘guideline’ etched in the Georgia Guidestones monument states “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature,” representing a reduction of more than 90 percent of the earth’s people. That’s a goal that seemed outrageous until the full scope of the poison death shots and then the prospect of global famine and World War III started coming into view just beyond the horizon of the daily news headlines.
Bottom line: We live in strange times, and I believe it’s the end times. We all need to focus on hardening ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally for what is coming to America over the next three years, while realizing that the most important realm is to harden ourselves spiritually.

I have not added to Revelation or taken away from it I have simply asked a question.
You on the other hand think nothing of adding your own words into the very text which warns against adding to Revelation.
I have a right to question what I read. Asking questions is part of the learning process. If something doesn’t seem right I have a right to ask why. But you have wrongly accused me of taking from Revelation and have referred to me as “The Angel of Light’s apostate minister” which is another lie. But as I’ve said before, you have a dishonest heart.
Thomas was chosen by Christ to be one of the twelve apostles Thomas had witnessed amazing miracles and events while serving with Jesus but he had doubts when Jesus was risen from the dead. Thomas didn’t suppress or hide those doubts.
Instead he did the right thing by seeking further proof when he examined Christ’s wounds.
Jesus didn’t accuse Thomas of taking away from his teachings. Instead he welcomed Thomas’s scrutiny. This would not only answer Thomas’ concerns but would also provide more proof for those of us who read about this event. We can point to this passage in scripture which shows without doubt that Jesus’ physical body was resurrected from the grave. Thomas’ faith was greatly increased whereupon Thomas says to Jesus “My Lord and my God” . This statement reassures us about the deity of Jesus Christ.
So our faith is encouraged and our testimony is strengthened, all because Thomas was not afraid to express his doubts and seek to have his questions answered. Jesus encouraged Thomas when he sought answers by answering those questions and by allowing Thomas to show due diligence in his quest for the truth by examining the wounds in Jesus’ body. Jesus did not ridicule or condemn a disciple for expressing his concerns and for seeking more information, so neither should you.
God’s truth does not fear scrutiny. If we are afraid to examine the bible for fear of what we might discover then we are afraid of the truth.

Hello Charles I thought that I had given you a specific reason along with some comprehensive argument. I’m seeing two names Charles porchetta and Charles Allan are these one and the same person? It’s a bit confusing .
I will finish with this
My answer is that my main concern is Revelation 20:4-5. I have already given reasons for my concern about what this passage appears to saying, so in this comment I will offer a brief simple analysis of Rev:20:4-5 in the light of 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18.
My concern with Revelation Rev:20:4-5 is it’s mention of a separate resurrection for the beheaded who we are told will reign on earth with Christ for a thousand years
I have said much in previous posts which I believe contradict this notion as I understand it. I am conscious though that Revelation uses much prophetic language which may contain hidden meaning.
What I am arguing against, is the belief held by many Christians that there will be a literal 1000 year reign by Christ on earth with a select group of Christians who he has resurrected in a separate resurrection to all the other deceased Christians who have preceded them.
So here I will give one simple passage written by Paul which contradicts this notion which has been put forward by people regarding Revelation 20:4-5.
Revelation 20:4-5
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”
Revelation 20 speaks of a unique resurrection of those who were beheaded by the beast for the witness of Jesus and the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or received his mark and that they alone will be raised in a separate resurrection and will reign with Christ for a thousand years.
It says that the rest of the dead wont be raised until after a thousand years
5 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”
If Revelation 20:4-5 is meant to be taken literally then it contradicts what Paul says in 1st Thessalonians where Paul clearly says that the dead in Christ shall be raised before the living.
Paul is speaking about those who were already dead in Christ at the time of his writing 1st Thessalonians.
but Revelation 20:4-5 seems to exclude the vast majority of the dead in Christ from the first resurrection in favour of those who were beheaded.
Hears what Paul says :
13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I will leave it up to you to draw your own conclusions. For me, Paul’s teaching is clear. I understand Paul’s teaching and I feel safe using it in the preaching of the gospel.

Hello Anthony unibokk William, According to the mind of Christ’s Spirit, Revelation 20:4-5 does NOT exclude the vast majority of the dead in Christ from the first resurrection in favor of those who were beheaded by the 7-headed beast. Here is what Christ’s servants, the apostles Paul and John jointly say concerning the first resurrection of God’s elect Saints on the glorious Day of the Lord’s descent from heaven:
I (Apostle Paul) would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them (i.e. the wise virgins of the Lamb’s wife—Abel, Noah, Abram, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Rahab, Ruth, David, Jonathan, Abigail, Elisha, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego,…the repentant thief on the cross, Stephen, Peter, etc. Revelation 19:7-) which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. Revelation 20:

When the writer refers to the souls of the beheaded it would suggest that they are just souls of the beheaded who have not yet received their glorified bodies.
They are mentioned as a separate group to those who are given thrones and judgement. They are the only ones described as reigning with Christ for a thousand years.
The rest of the dead are described as a separate group who have no part in the first resurrection.
The writer of Revelation talks about two distinct resurrections and two distinct groups
separated by a thousand year reign of Christ with one of those groups who are described as those who have been beheaded;
Paul the apostle, however says that the living and the dead will be raised when Christ appears. He makes no exceptions. And we know that Christ appears immediately after the great tribulation at which time Christ will judge the living and the dead.
2nd Timothy 4:1
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;”
There are many more verses in the new testament which point to one great resurrection of the living and the dead,
And guess who’s sent to separate the wheat from the tares? Christ’s army of angels who will advance to the sound of the trumpet. Whereupon the glorified Christ will sit on his throne and will judge the nations who have been gathered before him. The sheep will be gathered on his right and the goats on his left whereupon he will declare his judgement.
This happens after the great tribulation. The heavens and the earth will be destroyed at this time when Jesus has come as a thief as described in 2nd peter 3.
In fact the beginning of the destruction of the world will begin to happen during the great tribulation according to Luke.
Luke 21:25-28
25 “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
In Mat 24 We see the arrival of Jesus and his angels and the continued destruction of the heavens
“29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
The elect will include the souls of those who were killed during the great tribulation”.
Mark also includes those on earth
Mark 13
26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mark 13:27 “And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
In Mat we see the stars falling from the heavens and the sun not giving it’s light. The only light will be the light emanating from the glorious return of Christ with his angels
THIS IS THE END OF THE WORLD after which God will create a new heavens and a new earth.
2nd Peter 3:10
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
I don’t see Jesus in all His glory accompanied by a select group of resurrected saints inhabiting a an earth which has been burned up under a heavens which has also been destroyed.
Instead I see the glorified Christ and ALL of his redeemed glorified saints inhabiting a new heavens and a new earth
2nd Peter 3
“11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
So I don’t know what you are looking forward to but I will be doing what Peter said I should be doing. I will look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
Revelation is a prophetic book with much symbolism and it’s verses may have hidden meaning. So should we take a literal interpretation of Revelation 20:4-5 even when that interpretation seems to go against the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles as set out in gospels and letters?
I’ll let you decide on that for yourself.

There is much in Revelation that I don’t fully understand. A lot of it has to do with timing of events. If I don’t understand something being said in Revelation then I have no business qualifying it by saying that it’s true. Much of the symbolism is explained as you rightly say but not so fully that I see a clear picture or have a complete understanding of Revelation.
Of course some parts of Revelation fit in with scripture. But I don’t see a millennial reign of the Glorified Christ with his glorified saints on an earth which has been burned up under a heavens which have been melted with fervent heat.
I am open to learn more. But at this point in time I believe that questions have to be asked. In the meantime I will only embrace those parts of Revelation which do not appear to contradict the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles as set forth in the gospels and letters of he apostles.
BTW the destruction of the heavens and the earth begin before Christ returns.
Luke 21

Peter gives us more information in the destruction of the heavens and the earth which is to come.

” 3:7 and the present heavens and the earth, by the same word are treasured, for fire being kept to a day of judgment and destruction of the impious men.
3:10 and it will come—the day of the Lord—as a thief in the night, in which the heavens with a rushing noise will pass away, and the elements with burning heat be dissolved, and earth and the works in it shall be burnt up.
11 All these, then, being dissolved, what kind of persons doth it behove you to be in holy behaviours and pious acts?”
And Revelation says:
12 “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;”
13 “And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.”
14 “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.”
15 “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;”

So the destruction of the heavens and the earth begin during the great tribulation and continue as Christ returns . Then he will sit in his throne and judge the nations.
Paul says that Jesus will judge the * LIVING and the DEAD* when he appears in His reign.
2nd Timothy 4:1
“I do fully testify, then, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge living and dead at his manifestation and his reign. ”
When Jesus returns he will judge the living and the dead. All the nations shall be gathered before him whereupon he will separate the righteous from the unrighteous. The righteous will be accepted but the unrighteous will be banished.
Mat 25
“31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”
But the unsaved will be banished
46 “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
In Mathew 25 we see the separation of the saved from the unsaved and God’s favourable judgement for the saved and his condemnation of the unsaved.

But I suggest that you read the verse in it’s proper context where you will see that this happens when God creates a “new heaven and a new earth” This phrase is used in Isaiah
Isaiah 65:17-20
“17For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.”
Isaiah 65 goes on to say :
“25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.”
According to Revelation the new heavens and the new earth happen after the millennium and after the judgement. So Isaiah 65, is clearly not referring to a future millennium reign of Christ as espoused by John of Patmos
This is why we should not get into wild speculation about prophecies. We should not stray away from what has been explained by Christ and his apostles.

I will answer your question with a question.
Why did God allow the Thessalonians to be deceived with the fake letters
Why has God allowed false prophets to deceive his people both now and in the old testament times.
Why was Scofield’s annotated bible allowed to be printed and be received into bible colleges?
Why has the New World bible been allowed to be printed.
The answer I would give is that God allows us to be tested but he has given us enough information to allow us to discern truth from lies. Why did the Bereans bother to scrutinise Paul’s teaching? Because they were aware of the devil’s tricks.
Martin Luther and other Christians did not believe in the book of Revelation It’s the only book in the bible for which Calvin didn’t write a commentary. Louis Berkhoff didn’t believe in the millennial reign of Christ. So Revelation is not without it’s critics.
My main difficulty when reading revelation is that I don’t see the notion of two separate resurrections separated by a thousand year reign of Christ fitting in with the rest of scripture,.
I believe that when Jesus returns that the great judgement will begin whereupon he will judge all the nations including the living and the dead, also the saved and the unsaved.
I will finish by adding a point of caution about biblical prophesy.
Much prophecy is written using symbolism and strong imagery. The meaning of prophecy is often hidden and can only be understood when God reveals it’s meaning . So language that might seem obvious can often have hidden meaning.
The Jews mistakenly had Jesus crucified because they misunderstood the scriptures. Even Paul himself persecuted the Christian church because he taught he understood the scriptures and thought he was doing the right thing.
It was only when Paul received revelation from Jesus Christ that he came to a proper understanding of the prophetic scriptures.
So we should be careful that we keep our understanding in line with the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles wherein we are told what God wants us to know at this point in time.
So to conclude let me just say I am not rejecting ‘Revelation’. In fact I have quoted Revelation a lot in previous comments where I felt that certain verses in Revelation supported God’s truth. But there are some parts of Revelation which I believe require more scrutiny.

Part 1

You are missing the point. The point I am making is that the Bereans didn’t just take what they were told for granted. They tested what they were being told using the writings available to them.
Paul was a reputable scholar who had received revelation directly from Jesus Christ. Even so his message was tested to see if what he was saying was in keeping with the scriptures. Paul had come to Berea along with Silas and had been sent to Berea by the church but the Bereans still took nothing for granted.
“10And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
The Bereans are described as being more noble than the Thessalonians because they checked the scriptures to see if what Paul was telling them was true.
But why why were they being compared to the Thessalonians?
Answer, because the Thessalonians were lazy and didn’t do a fact check on what they were being told. That is why the Thessalonians had been fooled into believing in a pretribulation return of Jesus Christ. There were letters being circulated which misrepresented the timing of Christ’s return.
The Thessalonians accepted this false teaching, despite Paul having explained the coming of Christ to them previously when he was with them. They didn’t bother to do a comparison of the false information with the information which they already had been given. Paul had even told them what was restraining the revealing of the man of sin, but still, the Thessalonians were subsequently taken in by false pretribulation rapture teaching.
Paul says in his letter regarding the coming of Christ:
“3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.” (2nd Thessalonians 2)
Paul ends his letter by saying
“17The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.”
Paul was making sure that his letter would not be confused with the false letters which were going around.
The devil continues to undermine the doctrine concerning Christ’s second coming.
So we have to check everything, comparing scripture with scripture so we retain a true witness of God’s truth.
The growth of the apostate church with it’s false doctrines including ‘new age’ teaching and demonic manifestations has been enabled by a disregard for the sound teaching of Christ and his apostles.

Revelation has much symbolism and imagery, it is not written in sequenced chronological order.

These false teachers are enabled by a lazy church who would rather accept false teaching than go to the trouble of comparing what they are being told with the clear teaching of Jesus and the apostles.
Once a false doctrine takes hold, it causes the church to interpret the rest of scripture through that false doctrine so their understanding of scripture is in chaos.
Listen to what Paul says
“But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse”
Paul states that he or even an angel from heaven should be scrutinised when it comes to God’s truth as set forth in the gospel.

I thought I explained my thoughts on the Bereans clearly and agreed with their attitude at that time but once they accepted Paul’s preaching they could move on knowing that he was inspired by the Holy Spirit and also as demonstrated by his miracles. But you went over the same ground again so I understand your position on this .
Daniel is a very symbolic book and is also hard to understand until the end times but that does not mean that we should accuse Daniel of falsifying his prophecy and testimony .
The scribes that wrote the OT went through countless double checks each time a book was copied
If you are A millennial then I understand more from where you are coming from but I assure you no lion as laid down with a lamb in the usual course of events – except maybe circus trained.
Plus you never gave an example of a 100 year old child – to me this signifies that there is marriage and children during the 1000 years
reign to those who had not died.
Those who had died during the trib or before and who are saved will be in spiritual bodies – but this is my assumption
Plus if someone gives me a new prophecy and I can prove the facts are 90% correct but have still to confirm the last 10% I would tend to trust that person and not accuse him of lying – so the bits of Daniel I dont understand I dont presume are lies .
But I know the devil can add a little leaven to the truth.
The OT was written by the Holy Spirit as Peter said – the Jews were very careful about this . The NT was also written by the Holy Spirit as Peter said .

Would God and Jesus give us a deceitful book – eg is there no white throne judgment – did Revelation lie about the 1000 year reign of Jesus .
Martin Luther dissed of the letter of James as well and Calvin wrote his won commentary on his bible that no one was allowed to disagree with.
You seem to think that parts of Revelation might be true but if there is just one mistake the whole book would have to be a fraud and Jesus would never have willed this since He wrote it and He has no guile .

Charles, I did not understand Anthony’s comment to mean that he thought parts of Revelation were untrue. I understood him as saying that parts of Revelation are not fully understood, or in some cases totally misunderstood, and yet those Bible teachers who don’t understand the true meaning teach as if they do have the full meaning and therefore add to people’s confusion and belief in false doctrines. To build a doctrine around a false interpretation of scripture is very dangerous because it leads people astray and could ultimately cause some to abandon their faith all together when things don’t turn out like they were taught by their biblically reckless Bible teachers.

The problem is Revelation is either from Jesus or its not and is therefore a heretical book – which I cannot believe since I cannot find contradictions with the rest of scripture so far as I have studied it.

For anybody who thinks that 2nd Peter 3:8 is talking about a millennium reign of Christ, let me give my opinion which opposes this view.
Here’s my understanding on 2nd Peter 3:8
To understand the meaning of a verse we have to read it in context. So let’s look at verse 8 in it’s proper context.
Peter says ;
7″But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
So Peter is telling us that the heavens and the earth are being kept in store and reserved unto fire which will happen at the appointed time which is at the day of judgement.
He is encouraging us not to be impatient by judging God’s timing in this matter from our own limited perspective.
God is allowing time for the gospel to be preached to all nations before the day of judgement.
Peter does not suggest that the day of the Lord will last a thousand years and there is not even a hint of a millennium reign of Christ on earth in Peters teaching.
When we read read verse 8 in context and without preconceived notions, we see that Peter is encouraging us to be patient by viewing time from God’s perspective as we await the return of Jesus Christ.

Do not fret it only causes ham Psalm 37:8
Fretting means getting ourselves “out of joint” mentally or spiritually. It is one thing to say, “Do not fret,” but something very different to have such a nature that you find yourself unable to fret. It’s easy to say, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7) until our own little world is turned upside down and we are forced to live in confusion and agony like so many other people. Is it possible to “rest in the Lord” then? If this “Do not” doesn’t work there, then it will not work anywhere. This “Do not” must work during our days of difficulty and uncertainty, as well as our peaceful days, or it will never work. And if it will not work in your particular case, it will not work for anyone else. Resting in the Lord is not dependent on your external circumstances at all, but on your relationship with God Himself.

Hello Charles there is no mention in the bible of the earth being renewed for a thousand years.
When Christ returns in power and glory the nations shall be gathered before him, both the righteous and the un-righteous.
There is no mention of a thousand year chronological gap between the judgement of the righteous and the unrighteous anywhere in the scriptures, so why does ‘Revelation’ appear to contradict the clear teaching of the scriptures ?
We see in Mat 25 that the righteous and the unrighteous are judged at the same time when God compares them to one another and explains to them their fate and why it is so.
“31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” (Mat 25:31-33)
At this time the righteous and the unrighteous are awaiting God’s judgement. It is at this time that the righteous are resurrected and not before. In fact they are seen awaiting the announcement of God’s judgement. The righteous have been gathered on Christ’s right hand side whilst the unrighteous have been gathered on God’s left hand side.
Whereupon God will welcome the righteous into their inheritance in his kingdom and will banish the unrighteous to everlasting punishment.
“34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” (Mat 25:34)
But the unrighteous he will banish to everlasting punishment
“41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” (Mat 25:41)
There are NOT two returns of Christ , there are NOT two resurrections of the dead, there are NOT two separate judgements times of the dead, and there are NOT two separate judgements of the dead and the living, according to my understanding of the scriptures.
When Christ returns ALL the dead will be raised and judged at that same time along with those who are alive.
Paul makes this quite clear in his letter to Timothy.
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;” (2 Timothy 4:1)
My approach to ‘Revelation’ is that I will embrace those parts of ‘Revelation’ which fit in with the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles but when ‘Revelation’ appears to be contradicting the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles then I will adhere to that which is clearly taught by Christ and his apostles.
There is too much confusion in he church concerning the return of Christ and much of it is caused by wild speculation based on an obsession with, and misinterpretation of ‘Revelation’ to the neglect of the scriptures which give clear teaching on this very important subject.
For me then, I don’t see a thousand year chronological
separation between the appearing of Christ and his kingdom and His judgement of the living and the dead.
Instead, I see one huge event where Christ is fully glorified and where God will create a new heavens and a new earth wherein righteousness dwells.
I see a clear separation between the old and the new with no faltering.
This gives me a clear vision of Christ’s return and fills my heart with hope and a fuller appreciation of the glory of Christ.

The millennial Lord’s Day will end at the second resurrection when God will create new heavens and a new earth wherein His eternal holiness and righteousness dwells.

Thanks Antony but for me the Revelation of Jesus is as much a part of scripture as the rest of the Bible . There is a curse on those who take away from it and a blessing for those who understand it .
Since someone who dies at the age of 100 (Isaiah I think) is regarded as a punished sinner this shows there is still flesh being born in this reign of Jesus from Jerusalem. Those who have already died in Christ are resurrected but not sure if they marry since they are in spiritual bodies presumably .
But a billion or two are still alive when Jesus returns – so do these
people live in the 1000 years .
But the rest of the dead are not raised till the end
The lion has not laid down with the lamb nor has a child played with poisonous snakes – yet – this is millennial talk – as is each man shall have his own vineyard (farm).
At the end of the 1000 years is the great white throne judgement and then the new heaven and earth and eternity.
But I dont pretend to be an expert on Rev so still studying and believe any errors are only on my part – what Jesus said in the last book must be true

I’d like to reply to some of the points you made, if I may.

I say
We have a right and a duty to scrutinize what we read or are told in the light of the scriptures. The truth is never afraid of scrutiny. In fact God encourages us not to take what we are being told for granted.
Speaking of the Bereans we are told:-
“11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
So we see that the Bereans were commended because they didn’t take the teachings of Paul for granted even though he was a great scholar and had received revelation directly from Christ himself.
Galatians 1:11- 12
“And I make known to you, brethren, the good news that were proclaimed by me, that it is not according to man,
1:12 for neither did I from man receive it, nor was I taught [it], but through a revelation of Jesus Christ,”
If any part of Paul’s teaching had contradicted the scriptures then the Bereans would have justifiably rejected that teaching.
So they examined new teaching in the light of the scriptures.
I believe it is therefore my duty to test the veracity of everything I read whether it be written by an apostle or someone else. To do this I compare what I’m reading with the writings in the scriptures, just as the Bereans did.
I haven’t added to or taken anything from what was written in Revelation or any other part of the bible. but I have examined Revelation in the light of the gospels and letters of the apostles.
Revelation was a later addition to the bible and we are not sure who the author was so I don’t take it for granted and am not afraid to subject it to fair scrutiny. I would be afraid however, not to question anything which doesn’t APPEAR to comply with the other writings as I previously pointed out.
I use the word “appears” as I did in my last comment to you because it may be that the fault is mine.
As I said before, I embrace the parts of Revelation which comply with the gospels and the letters of the apostles. but if something in Revelation doesn’t APPEAR to fit then I have to ask questions.
There is much symbolism in Revelation and it is not written in strict chronological order so there is a high risk of misinterpretation for the reader especially if he gets into wild speculation.
So If I’m sharing with someone else I prefer to stick to what’s clearly taught because I cannot form a doctrine on something that’s not clear to me and which to my mind doesn’t appear to be supported by the rest of the bible. The fault may be with me and if so I am open to correction but I will not blindly accept something based on fear.
My concern is always to testify to God’s truth.
Revelation was accepted as cannon on the presumption that it was written by John the apostle the brother of Zebedee. But I’m not convinced of it’s authenticity or that the apostle John was the author. Prove me wrong if you can.
As I said I wont add to Revelation but I will question why some parts don’t seem to fit with the rest of the scriptures. So I will only embrace those parts which do not appear to be contradicting the scriptures.
Revelation was accepted into the canon at the Council of Carthage in 397 AD but I am not subject to the council of Carthage or anybody else, but God. I will therefore act accordingly with God’s help and the common sense which God gave me.
So I have a right question Revelation and to raise concern if my questions cant be answered.
BTW. Isaiah doesn’t actually say “the lion lies down with the lamb” . In fact, that phrase is nowhere in the bible . It just goes to show that we must check everything we are told in the light of what the scriptures actually say.

This verse makes no mention of a millennium
If you read it in context you will see that it’s referring to when there’s a new heaven and a new earth. There is no mention in the passage of a millennium reign of Christ.
Here’s the verse in it’s proper context ….
“18But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. (Isaiah 65:18-20)
So we need to check everything we read or are told, in the light of what the scriptures actually say. Many prophecies in the old testament use figurative symbolic language which can be misinterpreted so it is wise to study them in the light of the clear teaching of Christ and his apostles.

But the Bereans were OT jews and Paul was preaching the new covenant to them so they were right to go back to the OT to compare the prophets to what Paul was saying but once they accepted Paul that would be the sceptical part over and they would be able to trust the rest of his revelations plus the miracles Paul worked would reinforce this acceptance . Jesus said if you dont believe in me then believe in the works that I do – His miracles.
Revelations would have been circulated before the councils as it came from John in Patmos. I accept this book completely even though I dont understand all of it – but what parts I know a little of fit with the rest of scripture .
Whether the lion lies down with the lamb or a bear lies down with a lamb was not the point really but it signifies a peace which equates with the millennial reign of Jesus which Rev tells us lasts 1000 years. So this is why I am premillennial unlike post millennialism which period certainly has not started – Rev would not make sense since there has never been this sort of peace on earth although Jesus is reigning now from Heaven as always
You have not stated clearly where you disagree with Revelation – it would be difficult to say some of any scripture seems true – why would God lead us astray with partial truth since ALL scripture comes from the Holy Spirit as Peter said. Martin Luther dismissed Revelation but the symbolism is explained by Jesus as we read through this book . Its still to happen although some things have happened already such as Ephesus losing its lamp
What do you think Jesus will do when He returns except set up his Kingdom on Earth ?

Monotheism

Jesus’ virgin birth
Doctrine of the Trinity
Original Sin
These are all very important but Christ himself placed more emphases on His second coming than on any of the above. So whoever compiled the above list has a blind spot in their understanding of the scriptures.. They are not sharing in Christ’s prioritization of his second coming.
How many chapters did Christ spend teaching about his deity? the virgin birth? the trinity? original sin?
But we have two whole chapters where Christ devotes his time to the events leading up to and including his second coming with repeated warnings for us to understand the importance of this huge event and the dangers and lies which will be manifest by the devil so that even the very elect would be deceived if that were possible.
Not to mention the whole chapter written by Paul and the detailed account written by Peter.
The subject of Christ’s return and the events that precede and accompany it become even more important as we approach the great tribulation and the revealing of the man of sin.
Despite Christ’s concerns and His repeated warning you just dismiss it as being less important than the nine cardinal doctrines.
We should believe in all the ‘cardinal’ doctrines but the doctrine which will most affect us in the future is the doctrine of Christ’s return. It should be a priority in a Christian’s testimony if he is to be a true witness for Christ.
It is the doctrine most under attack in the church and therefore is the doctrine which needs to be most defended.
The devil has used the pretribulation rapture hoax to distract Christians from the revealing of the man of sin so that they are not warning the world about the deception to come. Instead, the church is assisting the devil in spreading his lies and is contributing to the apostasy, which we are told, precedes the revealing of the man of sin.
The majority of professing Christians have been pacified to believe that they are not under threat because they have been conned into believing that they will be removed from the earth before the great tribulation.
So what were Christ’s first words When asked a about His second coming ?
“TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU”

Hello Anthony, Jesus said the old Adam must be born again in order for the new Adam (i.e. Enoch, Elijah, Apostle Paul) may faithfully walk together with God in holiness. 1st Corinthians is about the the transformation of MAN at the return of Christ and the mention of the sun and moon and animals is by way of analogy as I have previously pointed out.
As these other bodies are designed by God to function according to their purpose so are our bodies. But when Christ returns and when we are to be physically united with him then we will require a new body which has been designed for this new circumstance.
The body I have now is a carnal body and is not suited to be physically present with the Glorified Christ and eternal life.
In my previous post I showed the distinction between the creation of man and everything else. Everything else was created from nothing visible but man was FORMED from the dirt of the ground. So God formed man from something that already existed.
When Christ returns, the dead in Christ will once again be taken from the dust but in this case instead of being formed into a carnal being he will be formed into a spiritual being. The Christians who are still alive when Christ returns will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and their bodies will be transformed into a new immortal body.
But the heavens and the earth will be destroyed and just like the heavens and earth in Genesis were created from nothing visible, so it will be with the new heavens and the new earth. They will not be a restored heavens and earth. They will be a new creation.
So in the same way that God made a distinction in how he created man from something visible whilst creating the heavens and the earth from nothing visible, so it will be when He makes all things new.
But you haven’t addressed the question I put to you about the NEW Jerusalem. Will it be a restored Jerusalem or will it be new Jerusalem made in heaven ?
I believe it is a new Jerusalem made in heaven. If this is true then it supports the argument for the creation of a new heavens and a new earth which are fit for the habitation of the glorified eternal Christ and His glorified eternal people.
This is a new beginning for God and his people.
So those are my opinions based on my understanding of the scriptures.

Anthony–Sorry for the delay in responding, but a close relative of mine died last night (covid). So other things on my mind…but perhaps apropos to our debate.
I agree that when Christ raises our dust from the grave, he will raise us to immortality and purity. Indeed, this process of transformation begins even before our physical death through baptism. But resurrection means nothing if it does not raise the bodies we died in. As I said before, Christ himself was raised in the body he was crucified in and not some replacement. He was raised in everlasting glory. “The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God.”(Romans 6:10). And though we struggle with sin now, so shall we rise, having died to sin. “What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:1-4)
Creation was made from nothing at the very start (although the doctrine “ex nihilo” or the words “out of nothing” does not show up in the canonical Bible but in 2 Maccabees 7:28). God gives no information of how this was done. Genesis 1:1 simply makes a plain introductory declaration (without any elaboration) that “God created the heavens and earth”. Genesis 1:2 gives a clarification of how this initial creation appeared–the earth was “formless and void”, which is, in the Jewish understanding, in a state of non-being. A further description of the state of the earth in that verse was that it was covered in darkness and by the deep (a symbol of chaos). So God created the malleable matter (the formless and void earth covered by water) from which all of Creation would come. In Genesis 1:3, God begins to define “Being” from “non-being” (Let there be light) and thereafter, creation is a progressive process of separation of elements to define various aspects of “beingness”. And God pronounced all this created beingness “good”, though it sprang from nothing.
You say that since Creation came from nothing (unlike Man who came from something, the dust of creation), Creation itself, therefore, will be reduced to nothing—annihilation– at the end of time. And that a wholly new and different ex nihilo-type creation will appear to totally replace it because only pristine newness is worthy. Whereas man, in contrast (a being from something), will be raised from the dead and transformed into a spiritual being. But concerning the creation of living creatures, Genesis 1:24 says: “And God said, “LET THE EARTH bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.” Was that a creation from the dust, rocks, water or what? The Bible says only that God made them—doesn’t say how—as the main focus is on the culmination of creation—man, the being that will carry God’s image.
I’m not sure why the creation from nothingness should be the factor to cancel out Creation at the end of time, while man (formed from the dust of that very same Creation that was created from nothing) should not also be annihilated and wholly replaced. God created the original malleable matter, then beingness of Creation with all its elements and lifeforms, which he pronounced “good”. Is His pronouncement meaningless? Does it have no eternal value because it had no pre-existence? Creation fell along with Mankind after Adam sinned (entirely Adam’s fault) but for Creation, there is no redemption, only destruction?? This same Creation that in Revelation 5:13—“And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” All of Psalm 148 calls upon all the creatures and the cosmos to praise the Lord. Why do that if this Creation that glorifies God is to be utterly destroyed? Sounds like Satan would get his way if God destroyed his own Creation that He originally gave to Adam to cultivate its life and guard from evil.
You limit salvation to only mankind, yet Adam was appointed to be the keeper of this Creation, a high priest for Eden. God planted a garden to set Adam in–Eden,–which in several respects resembles a small version of the New Jerusalem. It was God’s direct work to plant that garden. Adam was commanded to cultivate the life of this garden and guard it, to subdue the world outside of Eden, spreading the worship of God throughout the earth (Psalm 148) and bring all into God’s kingdom. Why would Adam be charged to do that if Creation (coming from nothing) has no ultimate value or continuity into eternity? Adam failed in his task, (but the 2nd Adam—Christ– did not fail, and He brings New Jerusalem down to earth to be the tabernacle among men, restoring man to his proper role). The prototypes of the New Jerusalem has been set upon the earth since Eden, followed by the tabernacle in the Wilderness, Solomon’s and the 2nd Temple and then the Church. In each case, it was God who either planted the garden in Eden, or gave Moses the plans for the tabernacle to reflect that of the heavenly tabernacle, or God’s glory filled Solomon’s Temple, or sent His Holy Spirit to the Church. In the end, the promise of those prototypes will be fulfilled when the New Jerusalem—God’s actual presence—comes to the purified and transformed mankind and Creation that was taught by all those prototypes.
This very Creation we live in now, that suffered since the Fall because of Adam’s and our disobedience and yet is called upon to praise God, “groans” for its redemption (Romans 8:22). It isn’t redeemed if it is annihilated and replaced with something else as if the first Creation never existed. And if Creation (out of nothing) is unredeemable, then I fail to see how mankind, derived from Creation, can be redeemed. The two will go together into eternity, after mankind, the heavens and earth have been cleansed of evil (Revelation 20). And that is God’s doing.

With regard to your comment…
You make a very good point with Genesis when you refer to Genesis 1:24 which says: “And God said, “LET THE EARTH bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.” Was that a creation from the dust, rocks, water or what?
But if you read my last comment you will notice that I was careful to say that God created the visible from the invisible i.e., something we are not aware of , because apart from man, we don’t know what was used but I agree that they were not created from nothing as you rightly say.
But as I said previously said

I see a distinction between man and everything else. When I say that the dead will be raised from the dust I’m assuming that the dust will contain the remains of those who died and that it is this dust that god will use to form the new man.
Here is another quote from what I said previously

So we are in agreement that the new body will have something of the carnal body but will be transformed into a glorified immortal body.

In relation to Adam being the custodian of the earth I agree with you that he failed and as you say Adam failed in his task,

Which leads us back to the question. Is the new Jerusalem made in heaven or is it the earthly Jerusalem which has simply been restored? As I said before, I believe this is a totally new Jerusalem. I would be grateful if you would say which one you believe it to be.
Apart from man who is created in God’s image, I don’t feel that the rest of creation enjoys the same privilege of eternal continuity. So whilst we will be transformed the heavens and the earth will on the other hand, be replaced, just as the earthly Jerusalem, will be replaced, in my opinion.
It is the spiritual world that is eternal just like the spiritual law

Of course not. I believe what Paul is saying that this current world is a place of misery and strife which will only pass when God replaces this world with a new one.
This world is cursed and fit for burning. As God says to Adam “cursed is the ground for your sake” The earth is under a curse affecting all life on earth for so long as it exists.

But that is not what Revelation 20 says. If you read Revelation 20:11 it clearly says
“And I saw a great white throne, and Him who is sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven did flee away, and place was not found for them;”
I believe that when this age is over, this present heavens and earth will have served their purpose and will be disposed of.
Revelation 21:1-3.
“1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth did pass away, and the sea is not any more;
2 and I, John, saw the holy city—new Jerusalem—coming down from God out of the heaven, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband;
3 and I heard a great voice out of the heaven, saying, ‘Lo, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they shall be His peoples, and God Himself shall be with them—their God,”
God presently dwells in unapproachable light. (1 Timothy 6:16)
My understanding of Revelation tells me that God will dwell on a new earth under a new heavens with his glorified saints. There will no longer be need of the sun because the glory of God will light the new earth.
Rev:21:23-24
“23and the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may shine in it; for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp of it [is] the Lamb;
21:24 and the nations of the saved in its light shall walk, and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it,”
So Peter says the heavens will melt and the earth will be burnt up.
And Revelation says “And I saw a great white throne, and Him who is sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven did flee away, and place was not found for them;” Rev 20:11
Also :-
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth did pass away, and the sea is not any more;” Rev 21:1
It seems to me then that the obvious conclusion is that God will destroy and dispose of the current heavens and earth and will replace them with a newly created heavens and earth.

Hello Charles ,after conception, not one drop of blood goes from the mother to the foetus.
Once conceived, the foetus creates its own blood and its own cells and blood type!!. A foetus evolves in the womb all by itself as the mother feeds and shelters it.
There is no blood line from Adam to Jesus. Jesus was born into the family of David so that he would be an heir to David’s throne.
It was also important for Jesus to be born under the law. You’ll remember that his parents offered up to two turtledoves or young pigeons and also how Jesus was circumcised under the law. All this was so that Jesus would fulfil the law for the sake of his people
As a human it was possible for Jesus to be tempted just as it was possible for Adam to be tempted.
Both had an innocent beginning. Adam yielded to temptation but Jesus didn’t. Adam was formed from the dust but Jesus was formed by the Holy Spirit. Adam came from the earth but Jesus came from heaven.

Anthony–Thanks for your response. Just a quick response here because I have to go out to do some chores. So I will respond in more detail later. But for now–You use the word “restoration” but I use the word “transformation”. A completely different process. You are right in saying the old world will not be “restored” to its former corruptible state. But it will be transformed into a very different eternal state, just as our resurrected bodies will be similarly transformed and incorruptible. I described this process as similar to burning away the dross. 1 Corinthians chapter 15 describes this as a seed falling into the ground and dying in order that new life may come from it. It does not describe an “ex nihilo” creation. The whole process of transformation begins with the seed of something that had existed. God is not an obliterating creation into nothingness but will transform it into wholly new kind of life through the process of death and resurrection. In 1st Corinthians Paul is not addressing what will happen to the heavens and the earth when Jesus returns.
He is simply making an analogy with regard to each kind of body being uniquely suited for it’s purpose.
” For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish. 40 There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another.”
He is pointing out that our physical body is not suited for the new life with Christ when He returns in Glory. He is saying that in the case of man that the carnal body will not be fit for purpose to live eternally with Christ.. We therefore need an immortal body so that we can be like the risen Jesus and live forever.
We will be given this body when Christ returns. When we see him we shall be like him.
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” (1st John 3:2)

Anthony—We are somewhat close in our thinking. But you are missing what 1 Corinthians 15 is saying. It’s talking about the resurrection of our bodies—the very bodies that were subject to death. Sown (like a seed) in corruption; raised in incorruption. Paul says: “But some man will say, how are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or some other grain:” (bare grain being a picture of our earthly bodies as they are now.) ”But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him and to every seed his own body.” (1 Corinthians 15:35-41) and Paul describes the differences between the flesh of men and animals, celestial and terrestrial bodies, etc. But in noting these differences between the kinds of “flesh” he says nothing to exclude these from the transformation of redemption. He doesn’t say—animals, plants, fishes, earth, sun and moon–Creation–will be totally annihilated on the Last Day. He just goes directly to verse 42 to discuss the resurrection of the dead—“sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.” But it is not physicality that’s the problem with God, because God created the physical realm. It came into being by His will. It’s the Fall after the creation that was the problem, as St. Athanasius maintained. Redemption is what’s needed for all of Creation, not obliteration.
What is being resurrected? The formerly natural body, the one which has passed through death would be raised by God from death to be something utterly transformed (not restored to the old order subject to decay, but a radical transformation–a metamorphosis)—what would amount to a deification “because we shall see Him as He is”, being made like Him. (This “deification” is not in an ontological sense, but in an escatological sense. As St. Athanasius famously said: “God became man so that man might become God.”) But today our bodies—“the bare grain”– are the seed for that. Christ, who incarnated our flesh with its suffering, experienced our death and conquered it through resurrection. But the body he was crucified in was the same body that was raised, not one that was alien to the original. The one he showed to doubting Thomas with its wounds (otherwise Thomas would not have believed). And suffering Creation looks for this redemption, too, according to Paul in Romans 8:20-23 “For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the WHOLE CREATION has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the REDEMPTION of our bodies.” Those very bodies we have now–resurrected–redeemed and transformed into spiritual bodies (not annihilated).
So “the heavens and earth pass away” not because the current physical Creation that is now subject to death is so utterly divorced from God that it is cast away from the possibility of its spiritual redemption, but because it, along with us, with all our dusty physicality, will be physically and spiritually transformed into something new and immortal. Redeemed creation is not a mere restoration what it once was, but a progression into something far greater than it was, something fit for the “New Jerusalem” or rather the very presence of God to encompass this cosmos and us. To be something much greater than Eden. Rather like the caterpillar that totally changes its mode of being when it transforms into a butterfly. Yes, there will be “a new heavens and new earth” because it will be the same cosmos of the original Creation (and not some other) redeemed and transformed, just as we (and not someone else) become “new creations in Christ”.

I’m explaining the reason why I believe in a new creation and not a rebuilding/restoration.
When I asked you What, in your opinion, will Christ be rebuilding, after the heavens being on fire are dissolved, and the elements have melted with fervent heat and the earth and the works in it are burned up.
Your answer was “I don’t know exactly.”
You went on to quote Rev 21:5 which mentions God making everything new. But you didn’t clarify your own thinking as to whether making all things new was a rebuilding or a new creation.
So I simply suggested looking at Rev 21:5 in the light of Rev 20:11 to make the case that I believe what is being referred to in Rev21:5 is a new creation and not a rebuilding of the old.
To support where my understanding is coming from I quoted some more scriptures to show that the timing of Christ’s return in Mat 25 fits with Revelation 20:11. which is the the great judgement at the end of the world according to my understanding of the scriptures. I see this as the time when God will CREATE a new heavens and a new earth.

I thought that Jesus returns He will RENEW the earth for His 1000 year reign then at the end of that reign there will be a new heaven and earth created after the Great White Throne judgement .
I assumed Peter did not have Revelation to see this but I could be wrong

If I may wade into this and offer my thoughts. As for the heavens and the earth passing away, it is a case of “corruption cannot inherit incorruption” being made applicable to the whole earth and not just humanity. But is this an obliteration or a transformational process? Romans 8:21 – “that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.”
For instance, to refine gold or silver, one must burn away the dross to reveal the gold and silver. The gold and silver already existed in the unrefined ore, but needed purification to reveal its beauty and glorious character. 2 Peter 3:10 –“But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and its works will be laid bare.” What is this actually—a cataclysmic natural event (that may well be) or rather something more significant that the earth “and its works” are laid bare, it seems, to scrutiny, to judgment.
God created this world and called it “good”. So would God utterly destroy what He pronounced good in its essence? At the beginning in Genesis 1:1, darkness was over the face of the “deep”. But the Spirit hovered over the “waters” (the deep) and said, “Let there be Light”. What is this? In the Jewish understanding of this passage, God is not creating “ex nihilo” but rather God was separating “being” from “chaos” (the deep or the waters which was understood as representing chaos in Middle Eastern thinking.) Morally this is chaos is expressed in Isaiah 57:20—“ But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.”
So forward to Revelation 21:1— “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” No more sea meaning rather that chaos was removed from this new heaven and earth. The dross is removed, it is a new thing—yes—but yet the same, revealing a transformed and incorruptible heaven and earth, just as we are, even now, “a new creation” in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17—“ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” God will “redeem” heaven and earth as he will us. Despite the Fall, creation is still “good” as it has God’s stamp on it, just as humanity carries God’s image, despite our fallen condition. God will burn away the dross to reveal the world in its true state of being with God. New Jerusalem comes “down” out of heaven– to what? To this new creation of heaven and earth and the New Jerusalem will be its temple, one that would encompass the whole earth, not just a tiny geographic portion of it that had merely been a shadow of the temple in heaven on the old earth.
When Jesus rose from the dead, he didn’t arise with a whole “new” body (as if he was reincarnating himself in some other body), but with the one he was crucified in. Yet, since he had conquered death, it was utterly transformed. And he retained the wounds of his crucifixion to show Thomas that it was the same body that had died, yet now lives. In the general Resurrection, our bodies that had died will be raised up (we’re not awarded some other body) and that same body will be transformed to live in incorruption for eternity. Why not also the rest of Creation as we know it, the earth and heavens that we see? It seems to me that THIS Creation is to be redeemed, not obliterated. Romans 8:22—“ We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time. 23Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.…”

Let’s remind ourselves of what Peter said :- He said that the heavens will PASS AWAY and the earth also. He describes the heavens melting with fervent heat and the earth being burnt up. Then he encourages us when says that we look for NEW heavens and a new earth. (2ndPeter3:10-13)
Here’s what happens according to Revelation when when Christ returns to judge the nations.
“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.” (Rev 20:11)
From my understanding of the bible, I don’t see a restoration of the heavens and the earth. I see that a new heavens and a new earth will be created by God . I believe that this earth and heavens will have served their purpose and will no longer be required. I believe that this earth and the heavens will be discarded and there will be a place for them in the new creation.
You seem to suggest that God will restore everything from what’s left but yet you mention a NEW Jerusalem coming down from heaven. So I ask you a question. Is this a NEW Jerusalem as claimed or is it just a restored Jerusalem.
I think you will agree that it is a NEW Jerusalem from heaven which doesn’t have it’s origins on this earth. We are also told in Revelation that…
“the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.” (Rev 21:23-24)
Revelation also says
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” (Rev 21:2 )
When the floods came and destroyed life on earth God preserved people and animals in their original state in order to repopulate the earth. This was a restoration of an earth which hadn’t been destroyed. It had simply been covered over with water .
But when Christ returns it won’t be a simple restoration. He will usher in a new creation, we will become like Christ in our glorified bodies. We will not be restored. We will be changed completely and will inhabit a new world which is fit for Christ in all his glory and his glorified saints.
I believe that the original creation *typifies* a future creation which will happen when Christ returns. The first creation of the heavens and earth was not a restoration it was a new creation.
But we know that man was made from something that already existed.
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genises 2:7)
When Jesus returns He will resurrect His people from the dust of the ground whereupon they will formed into eternal beings He will breath into them the breath of a new ETERNAL life.
So we can see clearly how the first creation typifies the second creation. Am I correct?
So that’s my understanding what do you think?

Hi Summer. I will share my message with any Christians willing to listen and Jan is a God-fearing reputable ministry. We don’t have to agree on every minor detail of theology, and certainly not on the timing of the Lord’s return. If that was a requirement for me then I would not get my message out hardly anywhere. And it works in reverse as well. I don’t agree with every theological point of Archbishop Vigano but I believe he is a God-fearing honest believer who has a lot of wisdom so I feature his letters and warnings here on my site.

Agreed Leo , We don’t have to agree on everything. In scripture there are such things as cardinal doctrines theses are the one we can all agree on, virgin birth , resurrection , the deity of Christ , original sin , salvation by Christ alone , and 4 others as I believe there are 9. These are non negotiable the rest I agree with you .
What’s important is are you born again and is your name written in the book of life and if you have the first you’ve got the second .

I don’t know exactly. I just know that the Bible promises a new Heaven and new earth, a New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven, and a restoration of Edenic conditions with the Tree of Life. Revelation 21-22:1-5.
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new.” Rev. 21:5

I personally believe that this polluted earth with it’s nuclear waste etc., will be done away with in the manner that Peter describes. I don’t see Christ in all His glory with his glorified saints inhabiting this earth after it has been burned up.
You mentioned Revelation 21:5.
Perhaps Revelation 21:5 should be read in the light of what Peter has said and in the context of Revelation 20:11 which says
“11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
This is when the judgement of mankind begins as we see in the next verse…
“12 and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened, and another scroll was opened, which is that of the life, and the dead were judged out of the things written in the scrolls—according to their works;
The above verses in Revelation fit in with the return of Christ immediately after the great tribulation when he will sit on his throne and judge the nations.
(Mat. 25:31-32)
“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:”
I do not see any rebuilding of this earth happening after Christ returns. Instead I see a new creation. I see God creating a new earth inhabited by Christ and his now glorified saints. A new creation which God will not regret.
I refer back to what Peter said
“All these, then, being dissolved, what kind of persons doth it behove you to be in holy behaviours and pious acts?
waiting for and hasting to the presence of the day of God, by which the heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements with burning heat shall melt;
and for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise we do wait, in which righteousness doth dwell;”
I base my understanding on what Peter has clearly described and I share his hope for the future. Amen / So be it.

I remember predicting that there would be an engineered famine and that people would be forced to exchange their weapons for food.
We are not there yet but an article I’ve just read, suggests that the elites have begun rolling out this agenda.
Here’s an extract from the article.

Residents of Sacramento, California’s capital, are handing over their guns in return for $50 gas cards from their local police department. A gas card gun buyback transferred 134 guns from community members to the Sacramento Police Department, according to a department news release Sunday.”
They claim to have had such a strong response that they ran out of gas cards.
If their claim is true, then imagine what the response will be when people are struggling to feed their families and when food is scarce. I believe the time is coming when food will be rationed and will only be available to people who comply with the elites agenda.

The great Judgement will happen when Jesus judges the nations Mat 25. This judgement is preceded by the apostasy, the revealing of the man of sin , the great tribulation, and the glorious return of Jesus Christ.
The word ‘Hell’ simply refers to the realm of the dead. But in hell there is a special place for those who do not belong in heaven.
Mat 25:31-33
31 “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:”
So God’s sheep will inherit the kingdom.
But those who are not God’s sheep will be cast into the fire. But those who are not God’s sheep will be cast into the fire.

The problem is that what many people believe is right is actually wrong and is breaking God’s spiritual law. Many child abusers believe that they should be allowed to abuse children does that make it right?
The truth is many people are messed up and have a messed up understanding of what’s right and what’s wrong. What they believe to be right is in fact wrong and they must be held accountable. Rejecting God’s law will not make God’s law go away.
Your logic reminds me of John 3:20
“20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.”
There is mercy for those who come to the light and submit to Jesus Christ but people would rather go on sinning in which case they have no excuse and remain guilty and will therefore be punished God.

Most of this book (published 1992) minutely details the elitist banking, intelligence, governmental and corporate system that has been in place for decades that is systemically through “foreign aid” (military or business) has been robbing tax-paying Americans (because the principal of loans to the 3rd world are never paid back) while also forcing 3rd world countries to take our corporate franchises and huge, unpayable US/EU/IMF bank loans. He said: “All that is important.. is to know that the struggle for less developed countries is not a political struggle between Communism and the West. It is, rather, a struggle for an import/export lock on each country with the aim of creating markets and consumers, along with a maximized flow of dollars in both directions that includes a heavy overburden of interest for the bankers, who benefit likewise.” That practice goes hand in hand with the deliberate violation of national sovereignty practiced by our intelligence services and our government upon other governments (and increasingly, including our own). According to this author, there really is no more adherence to the principles of “national sovereignty” in real terms. Our elites do not believe in it and have acted for decades accordingly.
So, according to this book, the US and the West generally, but especially the US, has been using this predatory economic system on the 3rd world and the US citizens (our real losses being covered up with inflation and a vast flow of cheap imports), put in place by our intelligence/corporate/banking system. But since this book was published, this system is all coming back at us full circle. In the 1990s, the NAFTA and CAFTA agreements during the Clinton administration sent much of our manufacturing out of country. That has eventually meant that US manufacturing no longer creates the goods for export that would be used in the 3rd world in exchange for their raw materials. Since the 1990s, the underdeveloped nations, through American franchises, have been producing manufactured goods using their cheap labor. This arrangement has made China an economic powerhouse (because China’s CCP kept control over their county and was not subject to CIA sponsored coup d’etats inflicted on many 3rd world countries that tried to allow competing franchises or other financial arrangements. (For instance, Saddam Hussein was our ally until pressures in Iraq made him threaten to no longer use petrodollars in favor of a basket of currencies for oil. After that, he was destined to be deposed.)
But what do we now have to exchange? Almost nothing, except military hardware. (The reason for all the little wars that are such a boon for the military-industrial banking complex.) What I’m thinking is that this predatory situation has reversed itself—that is, America itself is now the direct target of this import/export predatory practice. It’s obvious to everyone we are the biggest debtor nation in history. How did we get there? We have nothing else to trade except agricultural products. But what’s happening even there? Food processing plants are being bought up by China or being burnt down. Our farmland is being bought up by China and people like Bill Gates and allowed to go fallow. What about this “shortage” of US made baby formula? (Our manufactured formula was sent to Mexico and Biden imported formula from Germany. Why?) Looks like the intelligence, corporate and banking elites are playing on us the same shell game it has been playing in our name on the 3rd world. Is this the mechanism by which we are being turned into a 3rd world nation? Just my thoughts based on the book I’m reading and recent news. The book I cited above is a must read.

I like typology. When used correctly it gives a lot of insight into the Bible. The early Church Fathers used it a lot. Typically an Eastern Orthodox (especially in liturgies) and Catholic approach. I think it’s very worthwhile studying how the ancient Jews viewed their own scriptures and how the New Testament recapitulated the salvation history of Israel in the life of Christ. Rich studies on that theme IMO

Interesting comments on the Sabbath! The Sabbath is kept by Jews from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, just for clarification.
You are right… The Pharisees had completely desecrated the Sabbath with all of their rituals and they had made it a burden! That is why Christ said that the Sabbath was made for men and not man for the Sabbath. He came to teach that it was a day of blessing not to be a burden. He did not intend to change it or do away with it. In fact he established it when he said that he is the Lord of the Sabbath. When Paul referred to letting no man judge you he was speaking of the ceremonial law which includes feast days. He was not referring to the seventh day Sabbath of the 10 Commandments. If he was, it would make no sense that Jesus said “If you love me, keep my Commandments” John 14:15 or that James said that if you broken one you’ve broken them all. Nowhere in scripture is the first day of the week referred to as God’s holy day for the Sabbath. The day was changed early in the first century by the Roman catholic church. At least research it…
You may think that the Sabbath was only given to the Jews but it was given to humanity at creation to be a blessing (long before the Jewish nation existed). It would be impossible to keep every day holy, as it is commanded in Exodus, as you cannot refrain from work every day of the week! Of course we worship God every day of the week but we cannot keep every day holy like the Sabbath. I believe that those who have to engage in emergency work on the Sabbath are not doing wrong, as Christ showed when he healed people on that day and as it was explained that it would be OK to help your ox out of a ditch on the Sabbath.
I don’t mean to make this an argument… Just sharing my thoughts because I believe that it is important and a blessing given by God at creation. At least tuck the issue in the back of your mind if this ever becomes more of an issue in the future! (Which I believe it will!!) Blessings!!

The spiritual law will never pass away. But the Mosaic ritualistic law has passed away because it has served it’s purpose. It was a shadow of things to come and was fulfilled by Jesus Christ.
Finding fault with it God said , “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:”
So the question is whether the Sabbath is an old testament law or a spiritual law. I believe that Jesus answered that question when He prioritised by healing a man on the Sabbath. And he defended His disciples when they plucked corn on the Sabbath.
As the bible says the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. The Sabbath was meant to be a blessing, not a burden.
The weight of evidence points to the Sabbath being an old testament law and not a spiritual law . So we cant build a whole doctrine on an old testament law which has passed away.
“16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”
In this passage I see Paul referring to the old testament Sabbath.
As Christians we observe the Spiritual law. It is the spiritual law by which Christ will judge the nations. Read Mathew 25.
When Jesus says “if you love me keep my commandments” he is not saying that we, under the new covenant should be bound by all of the old testament Mosaic laws.
In an effort to support your doctrine you are confusing the requirements of the old testament law with the requirements of the new testament where we are commanded to keep the eternal spiritual law.
You say that Jesus confirms the Sabbath. ( Mark 2:28) but when you read it in context you will see that Jesus is showing that the Sabbath is for man and not man for the Sabbath.
(Mark 2:27-28).
27And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
I believe that Jesus is making the point that because the Sabbath was made for man that He in his capacity as a man was Lord over the Sabbath.
You mention James “James said that if you broken one you’ve broken them all. ”
I believe that James is talking about the spiritual law which is eternal and which applies in old testament and new testament times.
So these are just some of my opinions. I hope you find them helpful.
P.S. You are correct. The Sabbath is from sunset to sunset. I confused the word “noon” with the word “sunset”. My apologies.

For as long as we are on this earth we should be working out our salvation with fear and trembling.
(Philippians 2:12) “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
We haven’t yet entered our time of rest.
We will only find rest when our life on this earth is over. As Paul said “we must through many tribulations, enter the kingdom of God.”
In Hebrews 4 we are told to work towards entering that rest.
“10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

We obediently deny ourselves by taking up our martyr’s cross (NOT ‘Ceasar’s’ AR-15 sword of violence) to harmlessly work out our daily salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who omnipotently works in us (i.e. within His holy temple), constraining us both to will and to do the foreordained purpose and good pleasure of His holy will. God, The one and only true God and creator of this world and all of the universe will win! He has given us all we need to know in the holy Scriptures! We need to have a personal relationship with him to discern what is happening and what will happen as we enter into these last days before His return.
Remember that according to Revelation 14:12, it is those who are keeping the Commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus who are referred to as the saints. What are God’s commandments? Read them in Exodus 20… Pay special attention to the fourth commandment in Exodus 20:8-11, which begins with the word “remember”. The seventh day Sabbath was given as a sign, (Ezekiel 20:20,) so that we would know who our God is who Sanctifies us! I would encourage you to do a Biblical study on the Sabbath as it will be a point of controversy in the future… Satan‘s goal is to attack and diminish the law of God and if we break one commandment we have broken them all according to James 2.
You must understand what the mark of the beast is! It has to do with the changing of God’s law as referred to in Daniel 7:25 in which the beast attempts to change times and laws. Research the history of the changing of the Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day of the week. It was not done by God!

In Israel they observe the Sabbath from noon to noon. This is correct because when God was creating the heavens and the earth , each day was described as the evening and the morning.
Genesis 1: 5
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
The Sabbath coincides with what we call noon Friday to noon Saturday
However I don’t believe that Christians are required to keep the Sabbath. .
I refer you to Paul’s instructions to the church….
Collosians 2
16 “Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. 17These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ”
Remember what Jesus said to his accusers when He healed a man on the Sabbath
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
The Pharisees had the letter of the law but they didn’t have the spirit of the law . They
observed the ritual but their hearts were far from God.
I believe that for us Christians, every day should be kept holy. The work commitments for some Christians in the emergency services require working various shifts etc., Thankfully they are not bound by the ritual keeping of the Sabbath.

Hi Anthony–I appreciate your comments–so interesting and spot on. Seems like a 7th day Adventist has joined us in discussing observing the Sabbath. Christians should understand that early Church worships on a Sunday rather than on the Jewish Sabbath because Christ rose on Sunday. (Some early Christians tried to continue the Jewish Sabbath, but this was soon superceded by the Lord’s Day worship as the meaning of it became more clear generally.) Sunday in Genesis was the first day of Creation. So Christ’s rising on Sunday was to show that His rising was the first day of the new Creation. He had rested in the tomb on the Sabbath (Friday noon through Saturday). Christ’s resting in the tomb that fulfilled the Sabbath for all time, his rising heralded a whole new paradigm–the New Creation (Sunday, just like Genesis all over). We shouldn’t miss this tie in to Genesis and its meaning for the Church in the New Creation. Hope this helps.

Hello Frank If you check the list of possible translations which I gave you previously, you will see that it lists the passive interpretation of the word עָמַד `amad {aw-mad’
but as I said the primary translation is proactive. In a situation where the Greek word has many possible translations we have to look at the context of the passage in order to settle on a given translation.
So the passage in Genesis which you’ve referred uses the word עָמַד `amad {aw-mad’ in relation to Leah having her last Child and then ceasing to have any more children. But the context shows us that the Greek word should be translated using the passive option and that is what the KJV translators have done.
I believe that the proactive interpretation should be used when referring to Michael the arc angel in Dan 12 and that is what the KJV translators have done.
In Daniel 10:13 the word 5 עָמַד `amad {aw-mad’} is used again to describe a proactive stance by the prince of Persia.
‘And the head of the kingdom of Persia is standing over-against me twenty and one days, and lo, Michael, first of the chief heads, hath come in to help me, and I have remained there near the kings of Persia;”
We see Michael being the only supporter in the battle against the head of Persia.
“but I declare to thee that which is noted down in the Writing of Truth, and there is not one strengthening himself with me, concerning these, except Michael your head.”
I believe that Michael will be in action during the great tribulation culminating in the deliverance of God’s people when Christ returns.
Here’s how the YLT puts it
“And at that time stand up doth Michael, the great head, who is standing up for the sons of thy people, and there hath been a time of distress, such as hath not been since there hath been a nation till that time, and at that time do thy people escape, every one who is found written in the book.”

Thanks, Anthony, Amen! I agree with your belief that God no longer restrains the Beast through using His chief princes. But now, Gabriel and Michael are being used to help Christ’s Bride flee out of Sodom’s Socialistically Secured global ‘City of Destruction’, in obedience to His commandment in Revelation 18:4. Michael actively nurtures Israel’s wilderness-dwelling commonwealth as they obediently take up their daily cross and work out their salvation, with fear and trembling, through the 5th seal of martyrdom. Being more than conquerors they joyfully lay down their lives, and thereby overcome the Beast’s genocidal war against them.

To the religious types leaving comments involving “praying” after this article; we would be better off not falling down into a fetal position mumbling chants to one of about 80 gods man has invented.
Instead, we should focus on that which obstructs and stymies these vicious communist globalists the most: stacking food, guns and 3X the ammo you think is enough.

Agree, but action on our part is critical & essential. A reminder. God told the Israelites He’d make them victorious as they entered the Promise Land. But note, they still had to suit up in their battle gear & pick up their swords, and engage the enemy – many dying, becoming disabled – all the down sides of war. Point: Yes, pray, but prepare and fight – God will have your back.

(Not counting ideals which are treated like gods. Gold and guns for instance.) The Hindu religion–only one of many–says there are over 330,000,000 gods. You have a problem. You have no basis for evil without God. There must be a universal standard for good in order to have universal evil. If there is no God, then there is no evil, no morality. Indeed, all things become permissible, as human experience is reduced to personal tastes and might makes right. You obviously have not thought this through. If there is no God, then it’s okay to kill anyone and everyone. You are nothing special in that world, just a useless eater as the atheistic elite have deemed you.

Reminds me of Pilate who said ‘What is truth?’ He had the embodied truth of God standing before him but he still couldn’t see the truth. That was in the green tree but now we are entering a time when the world is being plunged into great darkness. I read many comments related to Dave’s post. I’d be surprised if he is an atheist, as some suggested. I think he’s a biblically-thinking person who doesn’t believe in a Pre-Trib rapture that many think “will whisk them out of this evil world before The End.” Rather, I think Dave 1) believes Christians WILL go through the End Times before God “pulls the plug on humanity.” His plea to the world who trust in a false god (there are billions) is – 2) don’t trust in a God who can’t save with implication that Jesus is the ONLY ONE who can save us when The End comes and your life is taken from you. Jesus can save your soul; that is His promise to new born ones! 3) His plea to stockpile things like food, weapons, ammo and gold is a wise safeguard to those unprepared to go through the End Times. If God pulls us out “early,” I will rejoice. But if God wants us to have swords, wicks and fuel to endure “to the End” (often suggested) and people are unprepared and unwise, Dave’s warning is given to push you into a sensible approach to the difficult, horrible time ahead. Would it be better to be prepared and not need it, or be unprepared and not have those things? The first is a win-win; the second is possibly a lose-lost issue. That is the unasked question I think Dave proposed. At that level (this isn’t denying God’s care or goodness), I heard him say, “Prayer won’t suffice for preparation you shunned!” That IS true! If so, he plans by faith – what an atheist can’t do! If he was out of touch to Christ, he needs the Gospel – not criticism. You are being short sighted. When the Banks pull the trigger on digital currency, all other forms of money including bit coins, silver, gold will be worthless. The world bank will run everything and own everything. That will happen in the next 3 years too.

Paisios of Athos said that gold and silver would be worthless since no one would use them for trade. He also predicted that the Mark would be introduced as a series of vaccines. (Though until the final shot which leaves a visible mark there is time to repent.) He predicted that most of the repercussions for not being part of the Beast System would be non-violent too.
All this makes sense. Including the part about precious metals. Those are only good for widespread economic exchange. In situations where the stuff hits the fan or small groups struggle to live outside a giant totalitarian system precious metals are worthless. Bags of grain or dried beans would make better currency.

You guys just don’t understand what’s going on. You see no further than this life. It is all you have and you will do anything to save your life and the lives of your loved ones. You believe that your guns and ammunition will do the trick for you and will enable you to turn things around. When you have nothing, then what will you do to survive and save your precious life?? You will comply with the emergency legislation so that you receive your ration book and you will be grateful to the elite scum who rule over you because your precious little life on this earth is all that you have.
The people who will resist to the end will be the true Christians . These Christians will not comply even if it means starvation because Christians have much more to look forward to, than this earthly life.
For us Christians this earthly life is but a moment in eternity. We have been told what the future holds in store and we are not deceived into thinking that this is just another conventional war.
So what lies in store for you if you are allowed to live, is a life of subservience to your slave masters who will change your body and mind with chemicals and technology so that you become a more “efficient” and unquestioning slave. A new society is planned by Klaus Schwab and his elite pals. A society ruled by the elite and served by cyborgs who have lost their free will and self autonomy, which is what you will become should you be deemed useful to the elite.
This is what I believe the future has in store.
I could go on about the demonic activity which is being unleashed in the apostate church and in the world which will climax when the man of sin is revealed. Christ will return after the great tribulation whereupon he will destroy the man of sin, bring this world to an end and judge the nations.

Instead I will be looking for the glorious return of Jesus Christ and a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Agreed, Christian’s have duty to be Christian soldiers and stand up and fight against evil. They should not be jumping to conclusions that this time will be the end times fulfilled and that the City/Cabal will succeed this time around. I think that many have misunderstood the prophecies. Clothed in sackcloth represents repentance in ancient times. The political earthquake and destruction of a tenth of the city represents the mystery Babylon (Cabal). Mystery Babylon eventually gets destroyed completely and is not the end times beast. If I may just speak for myself. I have not drawn my conclusions from reading Revelation.
I believe that we are in the end times because of what I’ve read in Mathew 24 and 2nd Thessalonians and more.
We are told of a great apostasy which will precede the revealing of the man of sin in the holy place.
There is a huge rebellion against God going on at this time, both in the world and in the apostate church.
Paul tells us specifically that there will be a falling away then the man of sin will be revealed. I believe that we are now witnessing that falling away from God and his truth.
There is an abundance of false prophets and demonic manifestations in the churches which have turned apostate.
In the apostate church we see people being taken over by demons causing them to behave like animals. They wrongly believe that this is the work of the Holy Spirit.
Also New age practises are now being embraced in churches and sound doctrine has been discarded in favour of false teaching.
Jesus said “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
The new age teaching says that every individual can be a Christ so we can expect more false Christs as this teaching gains momentum in the apostate church.
There is an all out war against God and his truth. Perverts no longer hide their sin they are openly proud of it and are backed by the governments and the media. Christian values are being displaced by the gay movement as they literally parade their sinfulness for all the world to see and they call it ‘gay pride’.
Governments are now legislating in favour of the LGBTQ movement giving them preferential treatment. The world is becoming more and more like Sodom and Gomorrah which makes me think that we are coming close to the climax when evil will reach it’s fulness upon the revealing of the man of sin and when the abomination of desolation will be seen standing in the holy place at which time the great tribulation will happen.
So for me the greatest indicator that we are coming close to the great tribulation is the unrivalled growth of the apostate church and the demise of true Christian teaching and practise. A spiritual war is being waged against God by so called Christians who are embracing doctrines of demons.
I agree with you when you say “Christian’s have duty to be Christian soldiers and stand up and fight against evil.”
I believe that our best weapon against the evil that is overcoming the world, is our testimony for Jesus Christ and His truth. We need to walk very closely with Jesus Christ and be faithful witnesses cherishing His truth more than the purist gold.

Hello Dennis Your comment was so interesting that it prompted me to do an analysis of some of the key words in 2nd Thessalonians 2:5-8 as it appears in the KJV.
So here’s what I’ve come up with.
I have looked up some of the key words in the text and checked the various translations from the original Greek as used in the King James bible. I’ve numbered the key words which I am studying so that they can be referenced from the original KJV and then compared with the various translations from the concordance which I’ve listed below.
So here is a possible translation/understanding of 2nd Thessalonians 2: 5-8 as I see it.
6And now ye know what (1) holds back that he might be revealed in his time.
7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now is (1) holding back will continue to hold back until he (2) comes into existence.
8And then shall that (3) violator of he law ( Lawless One) be (4) uncovered, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
The understanding that I get from this study is that Satan is holding back until a predetermined time, which has been set by God before Satan is allowed to uncover himself and reveal himself in the flesh as the man of sin. This will be a time when the man of sin will literally come into existence and the world will witness Satan incarnate.
We are already seeing a progressive unveiling of evil where people are no longer ashamed of their sins and we are also seeing the growth of the apostate church.
I believe that this is leading up to a complete unveiling of Satan in the person of the man of sin.
The violator of the law i.e. the man of sin, will be the son of Satan and in him Satan will be revealed in physical form. This will be similar to when God in the person of Jesus Christ was revealed and dwelt on this earth.
Jesus was the son of God, full of grace and truth and a bright light penetrating the darkness. Jesus obtained salvation for God’s people. He came into the world but was rejected by the vast majority of people.
The son of Satan, on the other hand will be accepted by the vast majority of people and will set about destroying their souls as he ushers in a time of great spiritual darkness. But Jesus will destroy the man of sin with the brightness of His coming.
Here are some key words in the KJV translation and some of the possible translations of those words as listed in the concordance, which I used when considering the possible translation / understanding which I have listed in the study above.

So there it is. As you say no translation is perfect but the KJV is my favourite bible to read. I often read it alongside ‘Young’s Literal Translation’ when I’m doing a study.
What’s important is that we discover the essential truth of God’s teaching.

Here’s my understanding
If you look at Daniel 12 you will see Michael taking a very proactive role in the end times. This passage cannot be taken to mean that Michael “Stands down or keeps still” during the great tribulation.
The primary translation of the Greek word for “stand up” favours a very active role being played by Michael. This meaning of the word stand is reinforced in the very same sentence when the word “stand”, translated from the same Greek word is used again in the present tense to show Michael as the one who “stands” for God’s people. So Michael will continue to stand for God’s people in the last days just as he did in the time of Daniel. There is no possibility of Michael standing down or keeping still etc., How can people believe that Michael stands down when the text clearly says otherwise?
So just to be clear…. In Daniel 12, Michael is described as the one who “stands” for God’s people and we are told that in the last days that Michael will stand up for God’s people just as he was doing at the time when Daniel was writing this prophecy.
So when we take the analysis of the Greek word and the passage where Michael is seen as taking an active part in the deliverance of God’s people I can only come to one conclusion.
Michael is not taken away nor does he stand down during the great tribulation. Instead he will be actively involved in the deliverance of God’s people.
Here is the analysis of the term “stand up” and “stand” as mentioned in Daniel 12:1.
The same Greek word is used in both cases.

Thanks Anthony. Your study is very in-depth, and I have been studying the same Greek words. Since it doesn’t say who the restrainer is, then it can’t be proven scripturally. You could be right about it being Satan, though I still think that it is God’s power restraining “until it comes out of the midst.” This could be by the Holy Spirit, or, as Frank said, by Michael, the Archangel. He makes a very plausible case for that, which I had not considered. Either way, it would still be the power of God restraining the evil, man of sin. I don’t think that Satan would restrain himself. Anyway, it can’t be definitely determined who or what the restrainer is. The important thing is that the text does not say that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way. I have been writing a letter to a preacher about this recently and it is very easy to misinterpret this passage without a knowledge of N. T. Greek. You have done a great job analyzing it. I still use the KJV, but my main version is Jay P. Green’s, “Interlinear Bible,” which was called, “A Literal Translation,” when first published. The main problem with translations, is not the translation itself, but the underlying Greek text. All translations are based on one of two, texts: The “Textus Receptus,” which is the true, uncorrupted text, and the “Nestle-Aland,” which is the intentionally corrupted text, which has numerous, deleted words and verses. The KJV and Green’s, “Interlinear Bible,” were translated from the Textus Receptus. All of the other, modern versions were translated from all, or part of the Nestle-Aland. I consider Green’s “Interlinear Bible,” to be the best English translation in existence. If interested, it is available at Christian Book Distributors, by two publishers. If you want it, don’t get the one from Hendrickson Publishers. It has many typographical errors. Get the one by Sovereign Grace Publishers. Take care.

Thanks Dennis I agree that Satan isn’t, of himself, deciding to hold back .i.e. that he is not acting on his own initiative. because that would mean that Satan is determining the timing of the Great tribulation, which of course is not the case, since the future is determined by God and not Satan.

We know that Satan had to ask God’s permission before he was allowed to persecute job. I believe that it is like wise with regard to him being loosed from the restraint which he is under at the moment. Satan must wait for the time when God allows him to be loosed.
In (2nd Thessalonians 2) I see verse 6 as applying to something other than a person hence the use of the word “what”, to describe it.
Whereas in verse 7 the word “he” is used which I believe is referring to a person. I believe that the person being referred to in verse 7 is Satan.
I believe that what is actually holding back Satan is his forced compliance to God’s predetermined timeline which Satan must abide by.
In 2nd Thessalonians 2 Paul is expounding on the sequence of events that lead up to the return of Christ and I therefore think that verses 6-8 should be read in that context. I think in this context that the constraints of the timeline are the obstacle referred to in verse 6 since it is the timeline that Paul is focussed on in this chapter.
P.S. I will be posting a little study I did in response to Frank M saying why I don’t believe that Michael the arc angel is being referred to in 2nd Thessalonians 2: verses 6-8. So please check it out.

Frank, as I’m sure you know the New Testament’s original language was Greek, not Hebrew. I have a Greek Interlinear Bible and there are significant differences between the KJV and the original Greek with Revelation 13 being one example. The “beast” is referred to as an “it” not a “he.” Then later in the text John changes this pronoun from “it” to “he,” leading me to believe that the beast begins as a system and is allowed to grow until it is totally matured, at which point a man assumes control of it.

Hi Dennis , you say that it doesn’t sat who the restrainer is yet Paul says clearly in verse 6 that you know what currently restrains him . So I’m thinking the answer has to be in scripture .

Leo, I totally agree that the beast starts as a system, which after maturing, a man assumes control over it. However, the pronoun for it, and he, is, “autos/autou” (G846), so it can only be determined whether it is it, or he, by the context, which is arbitrary. Green translates it as “it” all through Rev. 13. I still think you are correct because the same beast in Rev. 17:8, “shall ascend out of the bottomless pit (abyss), and go into perdition.” Later, in Rev. 19:20, the beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire. A system can neither come up out of the abyss, nor be cast into the lake of fire, but only a living soul, either a man or a demon. If the beast is a man, then he is probably the man of sin, the son of perdition, but a man can’t come up out of the abyss. My wild-assed guess is that the beast is the man of sin, but specifically, a demon-possessed man. Also, Satan can not be the beast because the beast and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire just before Satan is bound in the abyss Rev. 19:20-20:3. In Rev. 13:2, “And the dragon (Satan) gave him his power,” so Satan is not the beast. He just gives him his power, probably by being possessed by a demon. Does this make sense? I could be wrong. I’m just connecting the dots. 😊

This is a well-written article, but it seems to assume that these events are inevitable, and will come about in a static, inevitable decline that can’t be reversed. Great movements in history, good and bad, are usually the result of a dynamic process that can’t often be predicted. (e.g. WWI) When things get bad, people or institutions usually push back. Our infrastructure for a good future is in place; It’s the leaders who are bad. Eject them and replace them with good ones, and things can turn around. Oil could start flowing quickly, for example. That has happened many times in history.

If you have installed solar panels yourself you may have discovered that there are very few online stores to choose from. I’ve bought at altestore as late as late year and they had 3 pages of solar panels for sale in 12v 20v 24v, etc. I just looked at their selection this morning and first off they have a notice saying:

Those aluminum can solar panels are used for hot air heating applications. You can make a lot of different thermal solar panels that heat water and air. PV (photovoltaic) panels that produce electricity are not really a diy project.
Everyone that went through the Great Depression had that same attitude that you are talking about regarding repurposing. Have you ever heard this one?

Chemtrails are 100% real. I live in an area where we are sprayed like roaches 1-2 times each week. One category of information that hasn’t gotten censored by the social media media nazis (yet) are the thousands of online videos that show you how to build or make or repair just about anything . There’s no excuse for anyone not to learn some practical hand skill that will help sustain your family and local community during bad times. What is especially important is directing the younger generations to take advantage of this and take an interest in hand crafts and basic technology, fabrication and assembly. (So get rid of their video games. ). Making things from scratch teaches them design and how things work. Since the Industrial Revolution, we’ve gotten too used to just buying things off the shelf to the point we now lack the concept of how these things were made. So if you have a little wood or metal working shop or a weaving or spinning studio, or a garden, teach your young relatives something they’ll need to be independent and can create their own economies. And if you’re prepping—invest in useful tools and materials. For instance, PVC pipes are dandy for creating all manner of gadgets. I’ve seen looms and working spinning wheels made of the stuff. Really there’s more opportunities today for learning and doing practical stuff than ever before. We should take advantage of it.

God has seen fit to give us a lot of information regarding the return of Christ but you choose not to learn from God’s teaching on the subject. Instead you dismiss it and criticize those who are diligently adhering to the truth and exhorting others to do likewise.
In all your criticism you haven’t addressed what was being discussed. Instead you got into attacking and discrediting others for having a discussion on the subject of Christ’s return.
Rather than affirming the teaching of Christ and His apostles you instead choose to dismiss it by saying nobody knows exactly how things will play out. My answer to you is that we should take what information we have been given in the bible and study it so that we are prepared and so that we are not deceived by the delusion and demonic manifestations which Jesus warned us about.
There are already demonic manifestations happening in the apostate church. These people have been deceived because they chose to dismiss God’s truth in favour of a lie. In past conversation you have shown yourself to be a member of he apostate church and have defended it’s practises. So I know where you’re coming from and am saddened by it.

I have conducted hundreds of investigations at the top level for a number of DoD agencies. I also did extensive research on deagel.com and no one has gotten it right as to who is behind this website.
Over the years they have updated their country figures and what is now being shown as their last predictions, as bad as they are for many countries, may actually be much worse, especially in the case of the USA.
At one time, Deagel had the USA population by 2025 reaching a level as low as 54 million. Based on information I have obtained, I actually think this is going to prove more accurate that the lastest figure of 99 million. Regardless, there will be a mass depopulation in the near future in several countries, primarily the USA and UK.
Also, there is no Deagel Corporation. This is a black hat operation being run by the same people that brought you covid-19 and other nefarious world events of the past. While they put out disinformation as to who they supposedly were and how they got their information, I sincerely believe the detailed country numbers they were providing in the past are going to prove quite accurate.
I strongly recommend anyone living in the USA, UK and other countries with mass depopulation numbers going into 2025, consider relocating elsewhere. As you can see, certain countries will do quite well – you just need to be in one of them before the last big event happens.

A book was published recently titled: Georgia Guidestones Commitment to World Depopulation: Mandatory Vaccines, authored by Nick Daniel Huntley. I had planned to purchase it on Amazon or another bookseller, but all of a sudden it vanished – as if it had never existed. The book is 134 pages, and I would very much like to read it. I can’t even find a library that has it! Here is the ISBN: 9798485824990. The author also has published one or two other versions with slightly different titles. I ordered one from another bookseller – after a month they refunded my money, stating that they “made an error.”

Seems Like Everyone Is Transitioning These Days
Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud by admitting the oil “crisis” is part of the plan to transition from oil to green energy to reduce Co2 emissions in compliance with globalist elite orders. And you still think we have a Democracy? Did they ask for your consent, or let your voice be heard before making this monumental decision that will dramatically effect your life?
And it’s not just an oil “crisis”. It’s a food crisis, border crisis, electrical energy crisis, drought crisis, pandemeic crisis and possible WWIII crisis. You ever get the feeling your not wanted?
So how will this transition effect the people of the United States? Well, that depends on how much money you have. The majority of Americans will feel real pain. For the people at the top it’s a time of great opportunities.
Transportation (Working Class) – You will need to limit the amount you drive. You will carpool or use mass transportation. You will ride a bike a lot more often. I hear walking is very healthy.
Transportation (Upper Class) – This won’t effect you much. You probably already own an electric car and you support higher gas prices to fight climate change. You can still use your private jet and super yacht to your hearts content. As a bonus, the roads are a lot less congested.
Food (Working Class) – You won’t be going out to eat very often because it’s to expensive to drive to the restaurant. Your twice a month trip to the grocery store will consist of bulk items. (mainly Macaroni & Cheese) Animal protein will be a splurge item, assuming there is any left. The only cheap protein that is always on sale will be genetically engineered meat, veg meat and bugs on a stick.
Food (Upper Class) – This won’t effect you much. Online stores will pop up selling only the best organic vegetables and pature beef for the discriminating (filthy rich) client. Yes it may cost more, but you feel good knowing that you are buying from eco friendly farms who box their food in recyclable, biodegradable containers delievered to your doorstep, or the servant’s quarters doorstep out back.
Leisure (Working Class) – You can pretty much cancel out that cross country road trip to look at the world’s biggest ball of twine. Most of the surviving airlines have very limited capacity, which translates to huge ticket prices. Most of your leisure time will be spent in your own home, with the occasional bike ride to the local park. (assuming we aren’t in lockdown that is) Hey, why not try the MetaVerse? You can go anywhere you want and do anything you want, and never leave the comfort of your home. Just throw on a couple more sweaters, because heating your home is something you only do on weekends.
Leisure (Upper Class) – You will love the effect this has for you. Why should your travel destinations be overcrowded with the peasantry? It feels good to indulge yourself without having to see the suffering. And the rates are so reasonable now. You never thought you could have the whole beach to yourself did you?
Economy (Working Class)- Catering to the rich will provide many new low paying job opportunities. Most brick and mortar jobs will disappear. Computer programming will continue to be in big demand as society continues to isolate and look inward towards the computer screen. Hot jobs in this field include biometrics, surveillance id, misinformation A.I., passport management and further tracking apps.
Economy (Upper Class) – Great news! Bargains galore. Come scoop up all these real estate foreclosure deals. Invest in new highrises for the homeless. It’s a buyers market. Enjoy!
Government (Working Class) – Expect more Authoritarian control during this transition period as there will always be some people who will cling to the notion of living in a free country, with free and fair elections. That type of thinking will only lead to your name being added to the domestic terrorist watch list. And watching you is becoming very easy, as we get all your communication data from a corporate partner. We can circumvent all of your pesky rights using this model. All except your second amendment right. But we’re working on that one too. That’s the lynchpin.
Government(Upper Class) – We are here to serve you. Your very generous contributions to our personal wealth will be paid ten fold. Need another tax loophole? Want your competition restricted. How about a nice taxpayer funded contract to infuse your company with cash. We will even force people to take your product on penalty of losing their livelihoods. Don’t worry about any investigations or any written law for that matter. Rules are for the peasants.
What we are going to be living though is the biggest power grab in the history of the world with the mega rich combining forces to continue to do what they have done unchecked for the last century, absorb everything of value on the planet. This forced “transition” to green energy is not about solar panels on the roof and a electric car in the driveway, at least not for the working class. It’s a transition from wealth to poverty.

But watch– I’ll bet some elitist environmentalist will get alarmed by our insect consumption and want to categorize certain tasty or nutritious bugs as endangered species. There’s always a catch someplace. Joking aside, I wish I had 5-10 acres of good farmland/woods. And was much younger to work it properly. I’m not sure which is harder–to face the catastrophes coming at us in vulnerable old age (but not long for this earth), or when one is young and vital (but have to face 50-60 years of hell on earth.) My friends and family discusses this often. Most of us older ones feel sorry for the younger generations. All I can do of practical importance is to attempt to teach them some 19th century hand craft skills. Most young folks don’t know any and aren’t very interested. They need to learn to be as self-sufficient as possible. Because the NWO wants us to be utterly dependent on them and under their full control. I worry for the younger generations, especially those just coming into this time.

I want to have a learning camp on the homestead this summer.
Teach kids how to make different kinds of batteries, and solar panels.
Learn about radio waves and Morse code. Teach them to jerry rig electric bikes that can’t be remotely turned off and how to create minor EMP blasts.
Appliance and textile repair. Oil lamps and other off grid lighting.
Vermicomposting, what kind of plants grow best together in what kinds of soil, methods of food preservation, weaving cloth, breeding rabbits and chickens. Teach them about old school machines powered by clockwork, steam, gravity, etc. Build a few.
It might go on to become a weekend camp.

I thank Almighty God for His only, unique (monogenes – one-of-a-kind) Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth Who told us in the latter half of chapter 6 of Matthew’s gospel that we are not to fret about food, drink and clothes, but we are to seek (and serve) His Kingdom and everything we need will be provided. He also promises to remove His Bride BEFORE all this really gets going, for ‘the Restrainer’ – the One who restrains evil will be removed and all hell will break loose. What it is Jesus requires of us now is to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our minds, all our strength and all our souls and to love our neighbour in the same manner in which we love ourselves. Therefore we are to warn people and tell them what it is Jesus has done for them and rescue as many as we can.
All that Leo has written is, or could be, admittedly, scary but we truly have no idea what unrestrained evil looks like or is. As a child I was physically and mentally subjected to the evil fantasies of human beings, but, as awful as they were, they could be likened to a picnic when unrestrained evil is let loose.

Hello Julia the pretribbers claim that people continue to get saved during the great tribulation. They should be aware that a person cannot get saved without the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. So they contradict themselves when they claim that the Holy Spirit will be taken from the earth.

So the 144,000 Jewish evangelists, the two witnesses and the angels who all proclaim the gospel as can be read in Revelation 7, 11, 14 etc, because no matter who responds, according to you, they will not be saved. It’s a bit of a waste of time then God sending the two witnesses, and the angels, not to mention the `44,000 Jewish evangelists isn’t it? I wonder if He’s aware of that?

I’m saying that the Holy Spirit will remain active on the earth during the great tribulation which means that people can continue to get saved. But you believe that the Holy Spirit is taken from the earth before the great tribulation. If the Holy Spirit is removed then how can people on earth get saved ?
P.S. The thief on the cross was saved as were the old testament saints including Moses and Elijah. The efficacy of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is eternal and is therefore applicable to ALL of God’s saints, past, present and future.

I am truly heartily sick of people putting words into mouth and thoughts into my mind which were never there in the first place. Those who hold to this erroneous theory cannot have it both ways — that Christian believers will remain on the earth during the great tribulation on the one hand but yet the restrainer (which they say is the Holy Spirit) is removed from the earth on the other hand. I would like to hear someone more biblically skilled than Julia put forth and answer as to how these two antithetical ideas can be held at the same time.

I think she’s referring to people getting saved and discipled after a supposed pre-trib rapture when there would be no Christians around to help them out (and no Holy Spirit). They would be dependent solely on the Bibles left behind by the raptured Christians. That’s my take away from her comment but maybe she can enlighten further?

Sweetheart you do forget so quickly, don’t you, we all have the Holy Spirit within each of those who is a disciple of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, do you really think that I would fall apart if I did not have the Bible. His Word is hidden in my heart, so it is with me always and, if I am wrong, I have every confidence that Almighty God will give me everything I need in order to continue to remain faithful to Him I have never experienced Him letting me down yet. So, come what may, I am at peace, regardless of the goads which come along to kick me. And it should surely not be a matter of a ‘lot of people’ will look heavenward, it should be everyone who confesses Jesus as their Lord and Saviour is looking up because their redemption is a lot nearer than when they first believed. Leo and Anthony, you are both totally correct about the necessity of the Holy Spirit being present on earth to convict, teach, seal, baptize, enlighten and indwell new believers, which disproves the pre-trib rapture. It gets better, or worse, than that. I recently wrote about this to someone that you can’t have it both ways. 2 Thess. 2:7, is mistranslated in the KJV. In the Greek text it actually says, “For the mystery of lawlessness already is working, only he (is) holding back now (assumed to be the Holy Spirit), UNTIL IT COMES OUT OF THE MIDST.” The KJV reads, “until he be taken out of the way.” This last phrase is actually saying that the man of sin, the son of perdition, will come out of the midst, not that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way. The Greek word for “come “ is “ginomai,” G1096 in Strong’s Lexicon. It means, “to cause to be (gen-erate), to become (come into being). Loosely, it means when the man of sin is born, or comes into the world. This disproves that the Holy Spirit is taken out of the world with the raptured believers. This also proves that there is no perfect translation of the Bible, including the overly revered, KJV, even though it is translated from the true Greek text, the Textus Receptus. Hello Leo, I believe that soon people wont even own their own car. This is not a new idea. When I worked on a kibbutz in Israel many years ago, they had a small pool of cars. So if a kibbutznik needed a car he would have to submit a request in advance.
There is currently a decrease in the manufacture of cars. One of the reasons given is that the microchips needed are in short supply.

I copied the forecast from the Deagel website before it was taken down. Here is what it said:
“In 2014 we published a disclaimer about the forecast. In six years the scenario has changed dramatically. This new disclaimer is meant to single out the situation from 2020 onwards. The Soviet system was less able to deliver goodies to the people than the Western one. Nevertheless Soviet society was more compact and resilient under an authoritarian regime. That in mind, the collapse of the Soviet system wiped out 10 percent of the population. The stark reality of diverse and multicultural Western societies is that a collapse will have a toll of 50 to 80 percent depending on several factors but in general terms the most diverse, multicultural, indebted and wealthy (highest standard of living) will suffer the highest toll. The only glue that keeps united such aberrant collage from falling apart is overconsumption with heavy doses of bottomless degeneracy disguised as virtue. Nevertheless the widespread censorship, hate laws and contradictory signals mean that even that glue is not working any more. Not everybody has to die migration can also play a positive role in this.
The formerly known as second and third world nations are an unknown at this point. Their fate will depend upon the decisions they take in the future. Western powers are not going to take over them as they did in the past because these countries won’t be able to control their own cities far less likely countries that are far away. If they remain tied to the former World Order they will go down along Western powers but won’t experience the brutal decline of the late because they are poorer and not diverse enough but rather quite homogenous used to deal with some sort of hardship but not precisely the one that is coming. If they switch to China they can get a chance to stabilize but will depend upon the management of their resources.
We expected this situation to unfold and actually is unfolding right now with the November election triggering a major bomb if Trump is re-elected. If Biden is elected there will very bad consequences as well. There is a lot of bad blood in the Western societies and the protests, demonstrations, rioting and looting are only the first symptoms of what is coming. However a new trend is taking place overshadowing this one.
The situation between the three great powers has changed dramatically. The only relevant achievement of the Western powers during the past decade has been the formation of a strategic alliance, both military and economic, between Russia and China. Right now the potential partnership between Russia and the European Union (EU) is dead with Russia turning definitively towards China. That was from the beginning the most likely outcome. Airbus never tried to establish a real partnership but rather a strategy to fade away the Russian aerospace industry. Actually Russia and China have formed a new alliance to build a long haul airliner. Western Europe (not to mention the United States) was never interested in the development of Russia or forming anything other than a master slave relationship with Russia providing raw materials and toeing the line of the West. It was clear then and today is a fact.
Russia has been preparing for a major war since 2008 and China has been increasing her military capabilities for the last 20 years. Today China is not a second tier power compared with the United States. Both in military and economic terms China is at the same level and in some specific areas are far ahead. In the domain of high-tech 5G has been a success in the commercial realm but the Type 055 destroyer is also another breakthrough with the US gaining a similar capability (DDG 51 Flight IIII) by mid of this decade (more likely by 2030). Nanchang, the lead ship of the Type 055 class, was commissioned amid the pandemic and lockdown in China.
Six years ago the likelihood of a major war was tiny. Since then it has grown steadily and dramatically and today is by far the most likely major event in the 2020s. The ultimate conflict can come from two ways. A conventional conflict involving at least two major powers that escalates into an open nuclear war. A second scenario is possible in the 2025-2030 timeframe. A Russian sneak first strike against the United States and its allies with the new S-500, strategic missile defenses, Yasen-M submarines, INF Zircon and Kalibr missiles and some new space asset playing the key role. The sneak first strike would involve all Russian missile strategic forces branches (bombers and ground-based missiles) at the different stages of such attack that would be strategic translation of what was seen in Syria in November 2015. There was no report that the Russian had such a capability of launching a high precision, multiple, combined arms attack at targets 2,000+ kilometers away. Western intelligence had no clue. The irony is that since the end of the Cold War the United States has been maneuvering through NATO to achieve a position to execute a first strike over Russia and now it seems that the first strike may occur but the country finished would be the United States.
Another particularity of the Western system is that its individuals have been brainwashed to the point that the majority accept their moral high ground and technological edge as a given. This has given the rise of the supremacy of the emotional arguments over the rational ones which are ignored or deprecated. That mindset can play a key role in the upcoming catastrophic events. At least in the Soviet system the silent majority of the people were aware of the fallacies they were fed up. We can see the United States claims about G5 being stolen from them by China or hypersonic technology being stolen by Russia as the evidence that the Western elites are also infected by that hubris. Over the next decade it will become obvious that the West is falling behind the Russia-China block and the malaise might grow into desperation. Going to war might seem a quick and easy solution to restore the lost hegemony to finally find them into a France 1940 moment. Back then France did not have nuclear weapons to turn a defeat into a victory. The West might try that swap because the unpleasant prospect of not being Mars and Venus but rather a bully and his dirty bitch running away in fear while the rest of the world is laughing at them.
If there is not a dramatic change of course the world is going to witness the first nuclear war. The Western block collapse may come before, during or after the war. It does not matter. A nuclear war is a game with billions of casualties and the collapse plays in the hundreds of millions.

I realize that without faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, it won’t matter how much one prepares for hard times. However, I’m glad that I have been preparing for many years because there is no way to prove that we are at the end-times now. There have been many false alarms and the USA may be going to the ash heap of history 100 years before the parousia of Christ. If so, and I’m not predicting that, then the timing of the resurrection/rapture will be totally irrelevant. Everyone, prepare now, while you still have time. Technology has made us all dependent on the system. Start growing your own food like they did for most of human history. Stop arguing about the rapture and stop assuming that you have a “Get Out of Tribulation Free Card.” Excellent article, Leo.

Look up the prophecy given to David Wilkerson back in the 70s. Also look up Dimitru Dudduman, a minister of God from Romania. God brought him to the US and gave him many visions and dreams to warn the Americans. Brother Dudduman’s grandson Michael Bodea also were given many visions. One of the vision was about the destruction of food (2/3) by fire and water, but God preserved 1/3 of the food carefully for His people. So the time is near now. We need to prepare, but most importantly is to prepare spiritually, to be right with God and to learn to trust God now, so we can trust Him when all these things come to pass.

I will be working with my community to provide farmers and others with fertilizer made from vermicomposting and encourage obtaining all food locally. The food I’m stuffing in my pantry is for backup since there will be crop failures on our homestead.
A lot of folks on Gab boast about how glad they are to have guns. Or how we can vote to get “our people” in power. You can’t vote or shoot your way out of a famine.

There are recent reports coming out of China by Jennifer Tseng and Lude Media that China is mobilizing and transitioning into wartime economy and wartime state. The recent lockdown in Shanghai could be a ruse to cover up their peace to wartime transition as they calls it. I wrote on this a couple days ago….. I do believe Satan KNOWS his time is short.
He knows Jesus will soon arrive in the clouds to call the Bride away.
He knows he will then have more control over events and those left behind.
He knows …. and he is using many spiritually deceived individuals to help push forward with his planned agenda.

Hello SFC, my hope is based on the promise of Jesus Christ, who will raise me up on the LAST DAY…
“And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that all that He hath given to me I may not lose of it, but may raise it up in the last day;.” (John 6:39)
“and this is the will of Him who sent me, that every one who is beholding the Son, and is believing in him, may have life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day.”(John 6:44)
“no one is able to come unto me, if the Father who sent me may not draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day;” (John 6:44)
So, Jesus will raise me up in the last day and not before.
There is no pretribulation rapture. The pretribulation rapture myth is a false hope which is not based on the teaching of Christ and His apostles.

Sad! very very sad . We might be living in the the last days of this planet as we know it and here are the believers of this world going back and forth about a particular doctrine . What kind of example of salt and light is this . We are to be encouraging one another Heb : 10 :25 not trying to belittle one another . Paul dealt with the same thing in the book of Acts as some were saying I’m from Paul no I’m from Silas . There is rapture no there is isn’t yes there is , here are all the verses . May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us as he passes. Judgment on His church .

Agreed, NO WHERE does Jesus say the gospel includes having a perfect understanding of, and agreement upon, eschatology in order to be saved.
I enjoy Leo’s posts but I’m finished with the comments on them. Time after time, they turn to the Pre-Mid-Post or No Trib Rapture debate and are mostly ignorant, downright mean and rude, and full of snark.

The same Paul whom you quote had many arguments with the brethren. He contended for the faith and for God’s truth.
Out faith is based on God’s truth so if somebody misrepresents and twists God’s truth then we have a duty to challenge their lies. I am not entering into a foolish and ignorant dispute.
Christ’s return and the timing of it has come under severe attack. We have to ask why that is happening.. We have to ask why Jesus gave so much time to explain His second coming and the events leading up to this glorious occasion.
In Mathew’s gospel we see two whole chapters where Jesus goes to great lengths to make sure that we are well grounded on the details relating to His second coming whilst cautioning us against being deceived by the lies and demonic activity which will be released on the earth prior to his coming.
The apostles also write in detail about Christs return. So Christ and the apostles think that the return of Christ is a very important subject. But you trivialise their efforts by accusing someone who contends for this truth as engaging in a foolish and ignorant dispute.
I fear that you are a woke Christian who will gladly abandon God’s truth in favour of a wishy washy love which does not fortify the testimony of the brethren.
As for me, I will contend for God’s truth and will not relent or succumb to false teaching, so help me God!

The rapture unfortunately does not come first. The saints will be present during tribulation and the reign of the Antichrist, the Bible makes that very clear.
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be KILLED as they were, should be fulfilled.”
Rev. 6:9-11 KJV.
“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make WAR with the saints, and to OVERCOME them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
Rev. 13:5-7 KJV.
The saints’ job is to endure, persevere, and fight, while living and testifying in faith constantly and continually, as is made clear throughout the entire Bible. God loves us so much, that he waits until the last possible hour, until Jesus gathers as many brothers and sisters as He possibly can (all those that have accepted the Truth). The Book of Revelation, as well as parts of the New Testament and Old, serves as a warning to the people of God, so they can prepare for the very difficult times ahead – and to warn others to prepare and of what’s to come, and share the Word of God.
Only after all this (war on the saints), is the full harvest ready to be reaped (rapture). Rev. 14:8-16 KJV.

Actually not all of us agree on the timing of the rapture, some of those who have posted comments on this forum have had the temerity to mention, in all innocence as they are unaware of the prevailing spirit of this blog, the possibility of the pre-tribulation rapture, they have even posted scriptures. But, having been assailed from all directions by alleged Christians who tell them, in no uncertain terms that they are not only wrong, but their relationship to Jesus Christ of Nazareth is brought into question and, it has even been suggested by one person, they are the spawn of satan, they do tend not to bother to read any more of Leo’s blogs and move onto something a little more congenial. So, in future, when you say ‘we’, bear in mind, ‘we’ don’t, some do. However, at tyhe rate this is happening it won’t be too long before those of you who believe the rapture is not before the Tribulation will have the floor entirely. However, just because Goebbels said if a person tells a lie, loud enough and long enough it will be believed, does not make it any the less a lie.

Yes the Church will go through a very difficult time. That’s the “Seals.” The Seals are not “judgements” per se but are what occurs when God’s “restraint” is taken away. In doing so the Seals mark outcomes brought about by man. The Judgements are the Trumpets and the Bowls. These are released by the Father. Let us, as the church, resolve to do all the Father had given us to do during these times of Tribulation.

Passing judgement on someone you don’t even know in order to be the one who always has the last say and needs to be right all the time is another great biblical teaching in your hat . Nobody but nobody knows exactly how things will play out except The Father.

Yep. All you can do is what Jesus suggested, and come out of the beast. It can only control you if you depend on it to survive.
The bankers are not destroying YOUR society, they are destroying theirs. They owned it from the day the CONstitution was ratified. Let them have it. Build your own personal society to live in. Let in who you want. Keep out those you don’t want in it.
