Pope signs pact with Islam declaring ‘diversity of religions’ is ‘willed by God’

Almost without notice from the global media, Pope Francis held a historic meeting last week in the United Arab Emirates with Grand Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, head of Egypt’s al-Azhar University, the world’s most authoritative institution on Islamic law.

El-Tayeb, while touted as a “moderate” by some in the West, unapologetically teaches that Muslims who leave Islam for other religions, or no religion at all, are guilty of apostasy and should be killed.

So what is the Pope of Rome, the supposed Vicar of Christ, doing cavorting with such a man?

The two religious leaders released a joint declaration titled On Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together.

Among the many lies, half-truths and deceptions in this document is the following:

“The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings.”

The key words here are “diversity of religions.” The pope would have us to believe that all religions have merit, especially that of Islam.

This is just the latest in a line of papal statements on Islam dating back to the 1960s that describe Islam as an “Abrahamic” faith that will lead its adherents to the same God worshiped by Christians.

The new document reaffirms Islam as a religion of peace and says that any violence committed in its name is the result of “an accumulation of incorrect interpretations of religious texts and to policies linked to hunger, poverty, injustice, oppression and pride.”

If this were true it would mean that nearly 1,400 years of scholarship by all four Sunni schools of Islamic jurisprudence would have to be thrown into a massive bonfire. Until we see the smoke rising from such a fiery spectacle, it’s safe to say that Sheikh al-Tayeb played the pope for a fool. Others are suggesting that Pope Francis is no fool at all, but rather is himself a master deceiver with dark intentions.

I have warned my readers on many occasions that it is up to us to test the spirits of the times in which we live, always filtering them through the teachings of Christ. It was Jesus, after all, who warned in multiple gospel passages about the prevalence of false teachers, false prophets and “blind guides” who will lead many astray in the days before His return [see Matthew 15:13-14 and all of Matthew 24].

This doesn’t mean we should throw the baby out with the bath water and condemn all pastoral leaders and organized Christianity. There are still many solid teachers of biblical truth who have not, and will not, compromise the Gospel of Christ in an ill-fated attempt to pander to Islamic sensitivities about imaginary “Islamophobia.”

But I do believe it is critical that we “test the spirits” and not be silent in the face of false teaching about false religions.

‘Watchmen on the Wall’

The prophet Ezekiel provides clarity for the dizzying and often confusing array of statements coming out of once-trusted Christian institutions. He warned the Israelites of his day that to remain silent in the presence of false teaching is no different than engaging in it yourself. Like Ezekiel, we are called to be “watchmen on the wall.” I see these as modern-day warrior Christians who fearlessly stand up for the traditional, historic Christian faith that was “once for all delivered to the saints” [See Jude 3].

I recommend reading the entire 3rd chapter of Ezekiel and meditating on the mind-blowing application of his prophecy for our current day and age. What does it mean to be a watchman on the wall in a time when one Christian leader after another seems to be falling for the lies of the left, and the lies of Islam? We see them inviting imams into their churches to teach about Muhammad and Allah, claiming Islam is just another religion that will lead its followers to the same God that we worship. For our purposes here, I will quote just a short passage from Ezekiel 3 but I really urge everyone to read the entire chapter:

“When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

“Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.” Ezekiel 3:18-19

Instead of correcting his Muslim counterpart, Francis affirmed him in his error. Francis says this is the way we should all love our Muslim neighbors, by affirming their false doctrines, but he is utterly outside of the mainstream of 2,000 years of Christian teaching, and has entered a very dark place of compromise, stripping the Word of God of its power to change lives and set the captives free.

Muslims are victims of the greatest lie ever told. If we love them, we will expose the lies of Islamic imams and tell our Muslim friends the truth about Christ, no matter what the cost to us personally. This is the way of Christ. It will be up to them whether to believe the truth or continue believing the lies.

Keep that in mind as you watch the short video below from Bill Federer.

This video is the first in a three-part series that can be found on YouTube. It’s well past time that American Christians start to awaken to the fact that their sacred scriptures, their churches, their very way of life, are under attack by wolves in sheep’s clothing on the left.

Pope Francis is just the biggest name who has taken up the mantel of Islam and placed it on the same sacred altar as the Gospel of Christ, and in doing so has blasphemed the name of Christ. It’s our duty to call these false teachers out, as Ezekiel did in his day.

If we really love our Muslim friends and neighbors, we will tell them the truth about their “faith,” which is really not a faith at all but rather a system designed for the enslavement of mankind. It twists around and controverts everything that is true about the nature of God.

The lies of Islam start at the very beginning of time. In the Book of Genesis, God said He created man in His holy image. The evil spirit that came to Muhammad, masquerading as an angel, told him that God has no image.

God sent his Son into the world to redeem mankind of sins, but that same spirit whispered more lies into Muhammad’s ear, telling him that God is not a Father and has no Son. People who believe such things are infidels who deserve to be killed.

God’s Son was crucified on a Roman cross for the sins of mankind, but Muhammad was again told that this was not true, choosing to believe the seventh-century gnostic heresies that Jesus had somehow faked his death on the cross. It was all a hoax. So, if He didn’t die, He could not have risen from the dead. There is no Easter Sunday, no spotless Pascal Lamb of God, not according to Muhammad, the false prophet who hollowed out the very core of the Christian salvation message and replaced it with doctrines that may appeal to one’s earthly flesh, such as the promise of unbridled sex with voluptuous virgins in the afterlife, but kill the soul.

Pope Francis should revisit the Bible and reacquaint himself with the New Testament. The Apostle John reaffirmed the words of Ezekiel and of Christ when he stated:

“Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.” [2 John 7-11 NKJV]

  1. You and your followers will want to read some history about the dark ages and the crusades, where england in all her glory slaughtered thousands in the name of your God. Yet you proclaim that Catholicism and Christianity are of true faith. Seems like quite the contradiction and a massive demonstration of hypocracy.
The point to drive home is that religion is faith and belief based. You believe that jesus sat on some mountain for 40 days and 40 nights, declining food and water. You believe this because it what been stated in your scripture. You the right to believe it, to throw all your eggs in that basket. But science says jesus would have died after 3 days without water. So did he died and rise again, merely to be placed on a cross and executed in public so he could demonstrate his new talent of resurrection. Seems boastful and arrogant, a man LOOKING to be praised, similar to modern celebrities, hmmmm, wierd.
weird. Look there is no one religion better than the other, faith and believe helps o get though the day and life. You want to bad mouth other religions, alright, your merely perpetuating the violence, malice, hatred and discontent. Tend to your flock as jesus would tend to his, and leave it be. “He without sin cast the first stone!” You have dared.

    1. Spoken like a true follower of demons. Anyone who would blaspheme Jesus Christ in one breath, trying to question His legitimacy, and then quote him in the next “He without sin cast the first stone” is obviously not a stable or rational person. I recommend that you quit trolling conservative Christian bloggers, it will just raise your blood pressure. Get some help.

      1. Your perception of my stability and rationality has been determined merely by my questioning the legitimacy of a man praise so highly? Again there are flaws in every religion, but individuals such as yourself who blindly follow, tend not to see the flaws or deny they exist. So who lacks stability and rationality in that scenario? To blindly follow a belief system that has evolved over time and omitted language and testaments in newer versions due to negative attention, demonstrates the very lack rationality you accuse me of.
I will state it again, religion is a necessity in the foundation of humanity, to claim that “a religion” trumps all others is folly, demonstrates a lack of good sense, expresses a lack of open mindedness to possibilities and says “it’s your way or the highway,” even when your wrong (not that your wrong now, just in general).
Also, you claim your a conservative Christian, however, the current perception is more fanatic, where any who has a different view to yours is cast into the pits of hell (haha more religious references), this does not seem very Christian, nor does it mean they or I follow demons, simply means we have a different interpretation of the literature.
Lastly, if you do not want engage in the ability to express their point of view on your site, lock it down. This will ensure the only way to post is through membership or following. This will also ensure you ONLY get like minded individuals with ideologies mirroring yours. The last thing you want is for someone to challenge your faith that would solidify or bring closer to your religion, that would intolerable, yeah. A person pushing further towards your beliefs, that person must be following demons.
Finally, this was not meant to be trolling, just expressing some speech, which you suppressed do to the different views.
Now the stab, I will leave be with your followers and cultists, because that’s what a follower of demons would do yeah, alright, take care.

      2. Suppressed? I not only approved your initial comment, delivered in mocking tone, but then also approved your rebuttal! How is that “suppressing” someone for holding different views? It’s too bad our first encounter had to be so bitter, as you actually sound like an interesting person who has a bit of a sense of humor. God bless you sir.

  2. The so called church of rome is built on the blood of innocent people and most importantly is anti Israel, by their fruit we shall know them, this has been the home of satanic practice since it’s beginning. Jesus was not catholic, nor was He any other religion. He is and always will be one with God. We all know islam is of the ‘other one’, they’re fruit shows.
Sharing the Gospel of Salvation is our sole purpose of being, learning to love one another is a commandment. No murdering, sex with angels killing because we think differently is acceptable. Seek a relationship with God, desire to be His friend, the rest just happens, praise God.
A truly informative article, well done.

  3. I use to think that myself but I realized that Catholicism is the most Biblical. I don’t think I agree with what he said either (It’s not an official dogma of the Church). By the way, It’s not in the Bible that it has to be in the Bible. All scripture is given by inspiration of God but 2 Timothy 3:16 doesn’t say all scripture alone.

  4. Hi Leo,

This is an amazing article that you wrote about the heresy of not only the Pope but many evangelicals today who are embracing “interfaith dialogue,” “ecumenicalism,” “three Abrahamic faiths,” and ultimately the one world religion.

This is one of your best articles you have ever written and you speak the truth that so many need to hear but are unwilling. It is still our job to warn them, as you quoted from the book of Ezekiel.

  5. So this Pope stands in opposition to the Apostle Paul when he preached to the Epicurean and Stoic philosopher’s at the Areopagus about God having overlooked the times of ignorance but now commands all to come to Jesus through repentance and faith? Doesn’t sound to me like God is all that interested in “diversity”.

  7. This Pope may indeed be the prophesied last Pope. Can “there is no other God but Allah and Mohammed is the prophet” coexist with “thou shalt have no other Gods before me” from the ten commandments? I don’t think so. The Pope is supposed to be the Vicar of Christ not Mohammed. WTF.

  8. The Pope, who I believe is evil, sealed his deal with the Muslim with a kiss. Same as Judas betrayed Jesus in the garden. Another prophecy parallel? I believe so.

  9. “God desires that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim 2:4)
“This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom He has sent.” (John 6:29)
God can not desire a disparity of religions, because that would mean God desires some mean to believe falsehood and not believe in His Son sent by Him.

  10. Not a fan of the pope at all and certainly not Radical Islam. But each person should read the statement in its entirety. It’s not a statement of religious belief per se, but more like a statement of ideals that should be common amongst all people, including unbelievers.

  12. It was a great read. In fact, I had NO idea about that happening. So thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I understand that the Church is in crisis now with lower membership numbers than before. The scandals involving priests are not helping. However, what this Pope is doing – trying to appease everyone is very strange. I hate to think of him as evil, but it’s either that, or “a fool”.

    1. I try to see the good in all people, yet this “Pope” is not honest – Look at how many times he tells the USA that “walls are evil”, yet his sovereign country is the ONLY one on Earth 100% behind a very tall wall..
